dimak: In more detail, “S.T.A.L.K.E.R.” I didn’t like it at first and put it down 3 times, but after the 4th, I was so drawn into the Zone that I didn’t immediately realize that I had become a fan of this game.
From the first mods I was drawn into modding.
At first I did it for myself, later I helped others, and then one person from the Stalker-Portal forum suggested that I make my own mod, and a little later he suggested bringing back Scar, as a continuation of the CS plot, but on the TC engine.
I didn’t immediately understand the idea, since at that time I was making an addon for “Narodnaya Solyanka 2010”, but later I decided to take such a step.

In the process of passing the storyline, the player will not encounter anything. For example, a cyborg...

AP-Production: Why did you decide to continue the story?

dimak: I didn't know, to be honest, where to start.
First, they created a team, but there were few people in the team who understood the codes, but the ideas were one better than the other.
The first thing that caught my eye was the work of Nikolai avast.
He made Scar's autobiography, and on this it was easier to build a plot to continue the story.

AP-Production: Why was the mod developed on the PM platform, and not on the CHN, for example?

dimak: The TC engine is the most suitable for most modders.
In this regard, many would agree with me.
The mod was based on the popular PM mod “AMK 1.4.1”.
I'm used to working on this basis, because it's faster for me to use compatible codes to build a plot, as well as to build an interesting game.

AP-Production: Did you write the script for the mod yourself or did someone help you?

dimak: Of course, the guys helped, but mostly I wrote it myself.
Usually, when a map is in front of your eyes, different thoughts about the plot come to mind.
Of course, I changed a lot, because always, during work, I want to do it better and more efficiently. The engine is capricious, and problems often arise, but the thought of stopping and abandoning everything simply did not arise, since I still want to finish the plot to the end, even if I need to make 3 parts.

AP-Production: You mentioned that a team was formed from the very beginning.
So was the work on the mod carried out by a team or just you?

dimak: The team was called USSR-TEAM, and there were a lot of inconsistencies, up to a large map with all the CN locations, but later I simply cut off the hodgepodge map, and on a clean map, from the locations I selected, I installed the pure AMK.1.4.1 mod.
Then I started cleaning all.spawn from the restrictors of the original game.
The first ones were cut out at the Cordon, the Landfill, and began to impose a new plot.
I made the main part of the mod alone, and only comrade Buusty helped me with the rearmament of the Zone. Also, for some models, the guys who were indicated in the credits and description of the mod helped, and, if possible, indicated the masters of these models.
Experienced testers played a very important role.
I am very grateful to them, as they find holes in the game that even the most experienced modder simply cannot see in the game itself.

AP-Production: Have there ever been moments when it was impossible to implement the plot?

dimak: There were problems, of course, but I was not set up for failure and moved forward.
There are problems with the Internet, but everything can be solved, and now, when the mod has been generally accepted on many forums, I take into account the opinions of players for the future and correct the shortcomings of the 1st part.
I also met the guys after the release who help me and support the forums.
I am very grateful to them, and I hope that the mod will still have a worthy team, and “S.T.A.L.K.E.R.”, our legendary “S.T.A.L.K.E.R.”, will not die.

dimak: Not yet, just edits.
But I have collected materials, and the second part will be built about 2 times faster than the 1st part, since in the 1st part I had to find a lot, also working with scripts, and in the summer there is not enough time for work on the 2nd part , but in winter the work will come to a boil.
The work of the best masters is approaching, such as Antreg (“F.O.T.O.G.R.A.F”), master Syak (“NLC6”), “Narodnaya Solyanka” is also not standing still, which means that these works will not let anyone get bored, and not only these.

dimak: 1 year and 3 months, and also the summer period was a big problem, since devoting more time to the computer in the summer is nonsense, but time is found, since modern laptops and netbooks allow you to not only sit in “Contact” at any time, but also modify your favorite game outside of home.

dimak: Yes, there will be changes, and unexpectedly for the player.

Hints will be added to the PDA, and the plot will also be such that the player thinks, and not just looks at active tasks using the indicator arrow, but there are no plans for large dialogues from the continuation.

dimak: For me, this event did not affect anything, there is only sympathy for those workers who managed to do something, as they did, tried, and a little later lost their jobs.
I also understand the fans who believed, waited, and instead, this bad news spread about the closure of a company that was no less popular, in my opinion, than some Microsoft.

5. When you find yourself at the Landfill, you will need to look around and find a pile that is located not far from the hangar. Then you should approach it and find the antenna, weighing 30 kg. You can participate a little in battles with opponents and replenish your arsenal. Then, of course, it is better to vigilantly guard the Raven and the Cook, but if it happens that they are killed, then you don’t have to replay the level, because they are not needed for the further development of events.
6. At this stage in the passage of the game "Stalker: Return of the Scar" you need to talk with Igor and find out more about his task. It consists of ensuring the safety of three scientists on the way to the tunnel. Only under this condition will the task be completed. It is worth noting that in order for everything to go well, it is necessary to eliminate all animals and fighters present at the ATP. The path will be long, you will exchange messages, then Lazy Guy will be destroyed by a sniper. After a short conversation with Igor, go straight to the Swamps to make sure that the SOS signal is working.

You can find him in the Wolf's Lair. But don't despair, because in order to get there, you need a transition. And Voronin will certainly give it to you. If you want, then take a look at Agroprom and visit the Loser, who can repair and update your uniform and weapons. He will also tell you about the location of Strelok's hiding place - somewhere in the vicinity of the railway. More precisely, either on the tracks, or you need to look in nearby buildings. This cache contains a positioner. It is he who can cope and turn off the passage leading to the Catacombs. When you find yourself in them, you will find a message there. You will find the cache on the roof of the tower, which is located not far from the tunnel. You can also make some money here - pick up the Poltergeist flamethrower. But first you need to find him nearby on the railway and grab a new set of weapons.
