You will find yourself in the role of a member of a criminal gang, which begins to crush the illegal side of life in a large city. You will start from the bottom, shoot and rob, complete tasks and earn money, rise through the ranks in the crime syndicate - and so on until the character becomes the main mafia in Rio.

Doesn't it remind you of anything? Mafia 3, GTA 5 - but only on Android, with appropriate graphics quality and almost perfect gameplay. Still, smartphones are poorly suited for such games, so sometimes there are problems with control. Gangstar Rio: City of Saints is protected from hacking and copying, it costs 529 rubles on Google Play. Want something similar but free? Install Gangstar Vegas - everything is the same, only in a different city.

28. Wild Blood

On the twenty-eighth place is Wild Blood - a newfangled action game about knights who for some reason look like characters from Lineage 2 and other MMORPGs. But this, on the contrary, gives the game some special and unique style, makes it recognizable.

In short: the action takes place during the time of King Arthur, who suddenly began to be jealous of his wife for the faithful knight Lancelot. King Arthur's sister, Morgan, took advantage of this weakness, and with the help of her brother's blood, opened a portal to a parallel world. From there, a horde of demons controlled by Morgana poured in, with the help of which she quickly usurped the throne.

You will find yourself in the role of Lancelot, who, despite the disfavor of the king, must vacate the throne and return legitimate power to the throne. Take a sword, shield, spear and other piercing and cutting weapons of destruction and go to establish justice. In the story, you have many interesting missions and impressive fights, but there is also multiplayer. In network mode, you can fight in 4v4 format. Everything is very cool and spectacular, so feel free to download and install - the game costs 529 rubles on Google Play.

26. Star Wars: Battlegrounds (Arena of the Force)

Strategy is a rare genre for smartphones, but Star Wars: Battlegrounds fits into this format almost perfectly. You will assemble a dream team of Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Chewbacca and other characters and fight almost the same team, which is controlled by another person.

In total, there are 60 heroes in the game, which are not so easy to get into your team. To do this, you need to win a battle or get an achievement. Each character has unique skills and abilities that help tip the scales in their favor. And you can also develop and strengthen your team at the expense of awards received after successful fights.

The whole game consists of small races that take place in the main locations of the original cartoons: Gru's Lab, City, Minion Beach, El Macho's Lair, Volcano and other places known to Despicable Me fans. In the process of passing, you will collect coins and bananas, for which you will later improve the abilities of minions and buy equipment for them.

And during the races, you can do various nasty things - shoot down pursuers, mischief with local residents, and much more. For each nastiness, you will receive separate points, which at the end of the game will show which of you is the villain - a real evil genius or such a cardboard-plush villain out of the box. We recommend Minion Rush to all children and adults. And we move on.

24. Angry Birds 2

Angry Birds 2 continues our list - the continuation of the legendary arcade game about the war of angry birds and clumsy pigs. In total, the game has 1370 levels, and if you get bored, go online and compete with real people. This is much more interesting than an endless number of times to shoot at the buildings of pigs and destroy the homes of pig bosses. On your way there will be many different obstacles, including those dangerous to health. And each level will be more difficult, and by the end of the game the passage will turn into something almost impossible.

19. Don't Starve: Pocket Edition

Our list continues with Don't Starve: Pocket Edition - a survival simulator with an unusual plot. Here you will not meet crowds of zombies and will not shoot in all directions, the game is not about that at all. Imagine that during the day you can do anything, in the evening prepare for the night, and at night a terrible monster comes for you. You cannot defeat him, but he is afraid of fire. What to do in this case? That's right, kindle more fires and not let them go out.

In Don't Starve (from English - do not starve), your hero will not only get food, sleep and burn fires. In addition to the traditional indicators of life and satiety, he has nerves. And if the nerves cannot withstand the tension created by the monster coming at night, anything can happen to the hero, for example, other monsters will start to dream.

Naturally, the main character must survive in harsh conditions and find his way home, avoiding the monster along the way. It is very difficult, but still doable. The game is somewhat similar to the popular TV shows about survival in the wild, only here, in addition, there is also mysticism.

The price of Don’t Starve: Pocket Edition on Google Play is 309 rubles, we awarded it the nineteenth place for its original idea and cool execution.

18 Hill Climb Racing 2

Eighteenth place goes to Hill Climb Racing 2 - the continuation of the mega-popular first part of Hill Climb Racing about races and competitions. The game has a description of various types of tuning and improving the car, the actions of the pilot Bill Newton and much more, but this is not the main thing.

In Hill Climb Racing 2 you will simply drive a car, compete with other racers, upgrade your car and improve your results even more. The main character will not rest until he breaks all the laws of physics and flies far, far away in his car.

The game is free on Google Play and has been downloaded 50 million times - people really like it. And we recommend it too.

And also you will see another continuation of the history of Mortal Kombat and fight in the arena against other people. Powerful and dynamic fights are waiting for you, for free on Google Play.

In fifteenth place is FIFA Football - a simulator about the coolest sport, about football, developed by Electronic Arts. The game was created under the official brand of FIFA, so more and less significant teams and players from the world's leading championships are implemented in it. Would you like to have Messi, Ronaldo, Boateng, Hummels and Zobnin in your team? Install FIFA Football - it's free.

In your team you can recruit almost any football player from different leagues. Choose from 16,000 players, build a team in Ultimate Team mode, play matches with other people and find out who understands football better. FIFA has an online mode. In general, the Android version of FIFA turned out to be very realistic: the players look like themselves in real life, it is unrealistically difficult for weak teams to get into the Champions League, the grass is green, the ball is round, and so on. We recommend this game to all football fans.

14. Geometry Dash

In fourteenth place is Geometry Dash, a mega-popular free arcade game released in 2013. At first glance, it may seem that it is very simple: pixel graphics, a minimum of details, some squares and rectangles. But look, it has been downloaded 100 million times on Google Play. Moreover, most of the downloads occurred in 2014 and 2015.

Despite its simplicity, Geometry Dash is very addictive. You must use the dice and other means to reach the end of the level, bypassing obstacles and flying over dangerous areas. In many cases, logic and speed of reaction will be required - everything happens very quickly, so sometimes there is no time to think.

The speed of the gameplay is addictive and does not let go. It is enough to start the game once, and you will not be able to tear yourself away from it. There is no network mode here, but there are two versions - Lite with ads, and Full edition without ads for 109 rubles. 13. Modern Combat 5: eSports FPS

In thirteenth place is Modern Combat 5: eSports FPS - a classic first-person shooter about war and combat, the plot of which is based on the motives of the Third World War. For fans of the single player mode, several missions are available, during which you need to destroy the main terrorist that threatens the entire Earth. And in network mode, you will find yourself on the battlefield as part of a squad, you will destroy the enemy, capture control points, complete squad tasks and get achievements.

Network mode is the main feature of the game. Here you can create a team of 8 people, everyone will choose the appropriate class of fighter (Stormtrooper, Sniper, Scout, Support, and so on), get together and arrange a dynamic online battle with other teams. That is why it is called eSports, which means cybersport.

Modern Combat 5: eSports FPS is a new free-to-play game with over 50 million downloads. More than 2 million people voted for it on Google Play, and after all, very little time has passed since its release.

12 Subway Surfers

We decided to give the twelfth place to Subway Surfers, an adventure simulator about running on a railroad. This game is perfect for boys and girls, as well as for adults. She does not strain and trains the reaction.

According to the story, a young man paints graffiti on a wall near a railroad, and he is noticed by a policeman who immediately tries to grab him. And the guy begins to take his legs away from him, jumping over ruts and technical structures, avoiding various obstacles, climbing onto the cars and dodging trains rushing towards him.

Along the way, the guy (and then other heroes will be available) will collect coins and bonuses, which he can later spend on buying hoverboards and other power-ups. If he collects enough coins, he can buy (enlist) other heroes, buy new clothes, and much more. But some of these bonuses are for real money only.

With over 500 million installs, Subway Surfers is one of the most popular games in the world. Join and you, it's free, funny, cartoony and great entertainment.

11.Shadow Fight 3

Eleventh place goes to Shadow Fight 3 - the continuation of the hit Shadow Fight 2, with new graphics and gameplay. This is an epic fighting action game released at the end of 2017, where you will chop numerous opponents into thousands of small pieces using a variety of weapons and hand-to-hand combat techniques.

The third part of Shadow Fight is like Mortal Kombat. You will meet different NPC heroes, fight in a thousand battles with the enemy from the camps of the Dynasty and the Legion, go all the way from a simple legionnaire to a powerful lord of shadows.

According to the plot, you will find yourself in the center of the confrontation between the three great factions and become the stone that will break the millstones of history. Events will develop rapidly, but you will not notice it - the gameplay and graphic design are so captivating. In the third part of Shadow Fight, there was more realism, the movements of the main character became smoother, and abilities and special moves received brighter animations.

There is also a network mode - you can take part in rating battles with other players and find out whose kung fu is stronger. The game is free and so cool that you can play it even on the subway or on a long journey until the battery is completely discharged.

Top ten ahead. If you notice, we publish the rating in order from worst to best. But that doesn't mean that the games we thought were less cool are really bad. There are millions of games on Google Play, from which we tried to choose the best. Therefore, even the 30th place in our rating deserves attention, if only because we recommend it and no one pays us for this recommendation.

10. World of Warships Blitz

We give tenth place in advance to World of Warships Blitz, a free online game about naval battles on ships of the Great Patriotic War. The developer is the same as on the heavier PC version - Wargaming.net. So now fans of large, powerful and clumsy ships can safely download and run World of Warships Blitz on their gadget.

I must say that we ran a little ahead of the locomotive and put a completely new game in tenth place. But we are sure that she will be in the top for a long time.

Powerful battleships, heavy cruisers, light destroyers and clumsy aircraft carriers of the 20th century are waiting for you. You will find yourself in a battle where the ships of the Russian Empire and the USSR, Japan, the USA, Germany and other nations that fought in the First and Second World Wars take part. You will learn how to shoot and hit right on target, take lead and make adjustments, sink dozens of enemy ships and become a real naval commander. So go ahead - to victories.

9. Grand Theft Auto 3

In ninth place we have Grand Theft Auto 3 from Rockstar Games. In general, the entire Grand Theft Auto series can rightfully be declared the best of all time. All parts strongly resemble real life, with the exception that the main characters are not ordinary people, but criminals.

In GTA 3, you will find yourself in the role of Claude, a criminal who finds himself at the center of a criminal showdown taking place in the fictional city of Liberty City (Freedom City, translated from English). According to the plot, you will join the Italian mafiosi, complete tasks and move up the career ladder of the mafia clan, destroy competitors, drive cars and run away from the police. In general, the classic GTA, neither take nor take away.

In the mobile version, the developers have upgraded the graphics quality to HD and tried to simplify the controls. Compared to the PC version, it is not very convenient to control the character - sometimes it is difficult without three fingers. On Google Play, GTA 3 costs 379 rubles, but there are a lot of apk files of various modifications on the Internet. The main thing is not to stumble upon viruses.

8. World of Tanks Blitz

In eighth place, we put World of Tanks Blitz, a free online game about tank battles during the Great Patriotic War. WoT Blitz, like other games, has smoothly moved from the segment of powerful and demanding PC games to the segment of mobile applications.

In World of Tanks Blitz you will plunge into the world of large-scale and dynamic tank battles, go from a green beginner to a tank ace, discover a whole world of light, medium and heavy combat vehicles.

The game features real samples of military equipment of the USSR, Germany, USA, Japan, France and other countries that took part in World War II. Battles take place in historical places where large-scale tank battles took place in 1941-1945. Important actions in battle are accompanied by Russian voice acting, which very well dilutes the atmosphere of a global war.

Of the pluses, we highlight - the game is completely free. There is premium content in the form of rare tanks, but they do not upset the balance of the game and do not provide tangible benefits, but they make the gameplay even more interesting. Of the minuses - the application uses a lot of battery power, so after one or two hours in tank battles, your phone will run out of power. Follow this. And we move on.

7. Need for Speed: Most Wanted

Seventh place goes to Need for Speed: Most Wanted - a game about racing, street racing, drifting, and, like GTA, also switched from PC to mobile devices. But in the mobile version, the physics and gameplay have changed: now the car can be scratched, glass and headlights broken, and broken to the point where it almost stops driving.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted is an exciting night ride at high speed, competition with other street racers, escapes from the police. And first of all, these are cool cars: Dodge Challenger, Porsche 911, Carrera S, Maserati GranTurismo and others are available in the game. Cars can be tuned, put all sorts of upgrades such as alloy wheels, spoilers, bumpers and neon lights, install reinforced engines, nitrous oxide, do airbrushing.

On Google Play, Need for Speed: Most Wanted costs 379 rubles, and there are many free apk files and mods for it on the network. What to choose is up to you, we advise you to take a licensed version.

6.Township

Sixth place goes to Township - a simulator about urban development and farming, economics and entrepreneurship. Outwardly, it resembles SimCity and other building simulators, but unlike PC games, it can easily run on Android and iOS devices. And it will also be interesting for children and adults - all because it has light and unobtrusive graphics, interesting and exciting gameplay.

There are no special tasks or missions to complete in Township, but there are many different events that bring various bonuses. All that is required of you is to build and develop your settlement. The game has many different buildings and structures, the settlement can be expanded and improved so that after a while it will turn into a big city.

Despite its simplicity, the game is addictive. Look at the comments on Google Play - people admire, offer developers their options for improving the gameplay, discuss something and share life hacks.

Township is a free game, but, like all Android games, it has a special store with the possibility of in-game purchases for rubles and other currencies. This opportunity only affects the speed of development of your settlement and does not affect the game balance in any way, so everyone has a chance to become the best, just try it.

5. Clash of Clans

We suddenly decided to give fifth place to Clash of Clans, a cartoon-style multiplayer strategy about war and building your own village. Clash of Clans is played by millions of people from different countries: they enthusiastically cut, build villages, upgrade the clan and the builder's village, collect cups and participate in tournaments. For some reason, she liked them all very much ...

You can play against artificial intelligence in single player mode or against other people in multiplayer mode. From the innovations - with the advent of the builder's village, a new type of battle has appeared, where a simultaneous attack takes place: you attack an opponent and at the same time he attacks you.

In order to successfully attack and defend, you will have to strengthen the village - build defensive structures, open and improve different types of troops, learn how to attack and defend the village correctly, and much more. But this is interesting - the same people are against you, and it depends only on you who will be the winner. Here you can speak Russian, communicate in English with representatives of other countries, look at Asian hieroglyphs and “admire” the speech of our neighbors in the CIS.

Clash of Clans is free on Google Play, but it has paid features that have almost no effect on game balance. Of the minuses - to become a top player, you will need either 2-3 years of unhurried swing, or unrealistic financial investments. For example, our editor-in-chief has almost a top account with the 11th level of the town hall, and he has been downloading it for almost three years, which is a very long time.

4. minecraft

In fourth place is Minecraft - a survival simulator about a huge pixel world, which is completely at your disposal. Unlike other games where there is no complete freedom of action, here you can do whatever you want. The world consists of blocks-cubes that you can take out, change, make tools out of them, build a house and so on.

Minecraft is real craft in its purest form. The process is very exciting, because you can completely redo the whole location the way you like. Do you want to build a palace? Use your ingenuity and try to realize the idea - everything will work out.

Minecraft has two modes. The first one is for you to learn how to build and create different things from blocks. And the second mode is hardcore or survival, as you like. In the created location, zombies or other monsters suddenly appear, who are really eager to break the main character into a thousand small cubes. And here you will have to survive using the skills you learned in the first mode.

Minecraft can be played online with friends. If you have Wi-Fi or unlimited Internet on your smartphone, start a network match and play for fun. The price on Google Play is 529 rubles, the game has been downloaded by more than 10 million people.

3. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

GTA Vice City is very popular - more than a million downloads, HD graphics on a par with other popular applications, the coolest gameplay make it a leader in the mobile segment.

An open world, an exciting storyline, convenient controls with support for wireless joysticks and USB gamepads - what else do you need? On Google Play, GTA Vice City costs 379 rubles, which is not so much for the licensed version. And pirated versions don't have online mode and Rockstar support, so we're all for buying a license.

2. Terraria

Silver goes to Terraria, an action-adventure RPG with pixelated 2D graphics that has proven to be very popular with smartphones and tablets. All the interest in the game arose due to the great variability: after launch, a huge world is generated for you to explore, where you can create items, build houses and other buildings, fight monsters.

Terraria is somewhat similar to Minecraft - here you will craft a lot. But at the same time, there are more different monsters in it, which are not so easy to defeat. Various gizmos fall out of them: skins, ingots, rare ingredients that are also needed for crafting. The game has very dangerous monsters, bosses and over 2,000 different types of weapons. Therefore, there is no time to be bored - forward to adventure.

There are two versions on Google Play - paid and free. Only the first five levels are available in the free one, and the paid one costs 319 rubles. So you can try it first, and if you like it, buy the full version.

1. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

Gold deservedly goes to Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. An epic action game about the adventures of a black CJ and a gang war in a big city smoothly switched from PC to Android, which made millions of fans happy. The mobile version has better graphics, more cool cars and a few more storylines.

It is pleasant to play the Android version of GTA San Andreas: convenient controls, several modes of stepping, running, aiming and driving a car, the graphics do not slow down and are automatically adjusted for each device. As a bonus, you won't lose your saved game because the app syncs with the Rockstar Games cloud service.

And the price of all this beauty on Google Play is 529 rubles. And we can say for sure that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is worth the money.

Summing up

We tried to include the maximum number of games and made the rating interesting for children and teenagers, and indeed for everyone who has smartphones on Anrdoid. Many games were not included in the rating - it's not rubber.

The main trend that can be traced already now is that you have to pay for all decent games. This is the position of developers who have spent a lot of time and resources porting or developing the Android version of the game. Therefore, we are for the purchase of licensed games, and do not support hackers who make free versions of the most popular applications.

That's all for today, stay in touch, bye-bye everyone.

Games on the mobile platform are evolving faster than any other platform seen before. In 2005, if you were told that you could play Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on a tablet or smartphone with the same graphics as on a computer, you would probably laugh. Now there are games that look and play better! Without further delay, the best tablet games available right now.

Your llamas have escaped! Not the kind of phrase I thought I'd ever say. In Alto Adventure, you're heading down a snowy slope on your snowboard, doing your best to catch those pesky llamas. Along the way, you have to avoid obstacles and ravines, and hey, you can even have some fun and ride Alto along the power lines.

This game is easy to learn, very fun to play, and very addictive. It's also one of the best 2D side-scrollers I've come across in a while, and it deserves its place as one of the best games on an Android tablet. While descending the slope, you will also be able to enjoy the stunning scenery!

To date, there are only a few racing games that can boast the longevity of the Asphalt series. The game contains a metric ton of content, including a single player campaign, multiplayer racing, time trial, unlockable content, and incremental updates that add new racing tracks and other content. The graphics are pretty decent, but the game promises to run on most devices. The game is great for tablets and includes a lot of active racers, so Asphalt 8 is much more popular than the competition. At least right now.

At first glance, Badland may not make the right impression. This is a side-scrolling runner where you have to avoid obstacles and constantly tap the screen to make your runner's height equal. However, once you try it, it will be difficult for you to deny the depth of the gameplay. There is a real-time multiplayer mode (including a local co-op mode), a huge adventure mode, and a late 2015 update allows players to create their own levels. In a world where many games get boring in a matter of days, Badland is played on tablets for weeks and months.

From the creators of the robot adventure game, Machinarium, Botanicula is an exploration game where you control a collection of creatures on a mission to find a safe haven free of scary monsters in an alien world! Botanicula's gameplay is designed with curious players in mind. After starting the game, you are left alone with your device, figuring out what to do and where to go on your own. As you make your way through the "trees", you'll encounter other characters, new landscapes, and unexpected situations. I really liked the ability to interact with most of the game world, but the regular loading screens that appear every time I exit the screen were a disappointment. Not too critical a problem, but they are a bit of a distraction.

Dash Quest is an incredibly fun RPG/Arcade/Runner that, from an aesthetic standpoint, feels very similar to a Zelda game. As with any good RPG, you can equip your tiny hero with tons of accessories to deal more and more damage to your unfortunate enemies. What makes Dash Quest the best game on a tablet is the fast pace of the game. In addition to running, hitting, and unexpected falls, you'll encounter mini-games that keep things interesting and even challenging, so the game doesn't get stale after a day or two. Among other things, you will encounter some rather interesting bosses that impose interesting rules for combat. If fast and furious games are your thing, check out Dash Quest.

Dungeon Hunter 5

[Price: Free | In-App Purchases]

Dungeon Hunter 5 is one of those games that sucks you in and never lets go. A self-proclaimed "Hack and Slash" RPG, this RPG boasts impressive graphics and fast-paced gameplay that often ramps up in intensity. Fans of turn-based RPGs beware - the enemy packs in Dungeon Hunter 5 won't wait!

For me, the most enjoyable part of this game has been the massive collection of weapons and armor that you can use to equip your character. The single player mode is very deep, but online co-op promises much more fun. If the Hack and Slash genre is your choice, give it a try!

Fallout Shelter was released in 2015 as a fantastic fanfare for Fallout 4, the game received great reviews and quickly amassed an awards package. In this game, you have to build a fallout shelter, fill it with people, and then manage everything so that everything and everyone is fine. You will have to send residents to the wasteland for supplies, fight off marauders and radioactive monsters. You can help the inhabitants in creating offspring, create entire communities, and also produce all kinds of things. Fallout Shelter has a lot of depth, it's a game that you can spend months playing before realizing there are in-app purchases.

Hearthstone hit the scene in late 2014 and remains one of the best mobile games on a tablet to this day. The concept is not new, the game is like Pokemon or Magic: The Gathering where you collect cards, build your deck and then fight other players. There are some single player elements, but most of the game relies on multiplayer. You can also use Battle.net sync, which will allow you to play Hearthstone on your computer or mobile device with the same account.

All of the Kingdom Rush games have been great on tablets, but the most recent title is Kingdom Rush Origins. It's a fantasy-themed tower defense game where you have to build towers and control heroes to defend against waves of bad guys. Towers and heroes all have individual skills and can evolve as they progress. Kingdom Rush is not an overly complex game, but it guarantees you an enjoyable and consistent experience. With a $200 price tag and in-app purchases, it's a bold move, but you'll be able to finish the game without in-app purchases.

Minecraft is a popular game all over the world among people of all ages. For those who have never played the game, Minecraft offers a gigantic world where you can use any materials, build a lot of things, explore the world and beat monsters, and do almost anything you want. There is a survival mode that requires you to gather resources and food, along with a creative mode that lets you build without limits. A late 2015 update introduces redstone dust, which allows you to create many new mechanisms. There are no in-app purchases in the game.

Telltale Games brings you the best episodic adventure games on your tablet. The developer has seven games in its arsenal right now, including The Walking Dead seasons 1 and 2, single player Michonne, Game of Thrones, Tales from the Borderlands, The Wolf Among Us, and Minecraft: Story Mode. All these games revolve around point and click mechanics, they have a variable storyline, the ending of which changes depending on the decisions the player makes. In addition, almost all games have several episodes, and the passage takes up to 10-15 hours. These are great tablet games based on great stories, good graphics and easy mechanics.

Room Three

[Price: 279 rubles]

The latest game in the Room series was a real hit, just like its predecessors, which remain the best games for Android tablets and smartphones. For those who have never played this game before, Room Three is a beautifully executed puzzle game that includes a number of unique objects and rooms whose secrets must be unraveled. The passage of the game involves moving from room to room, which is accompanied by the development of unique objects and puzzles, until you go through all the rooms. The third part supports cloud storage and graphics, which will make you pay attention to the first two parts. There are no in-app purchases.

This War Of Mine

[Price: 300 rubles]

This War Of Mine is so good that it has been named "Best Game of 2015" by many publications. In this survival game, you guide a crew of civilians through a war-torn city. You are tasked with making difficult decisions that, at times, have heartbreaking survival outcomes. The game comes with great graphics, lots of content and a great price tag without any in-app purchases. It's definitely worth playing on a tablet.

Zombie Age 3

[Price: Free | In-App Purchases]

One thing we know for sure. Zombie mania will never die (pun intended, of course). Zombie Age 3 is by far my favorite zombie Android game on a tablet, and for a couple of reasons. For starters, I really like action side scrollers. They're not as ambitious, but they offer a lot of bloodshed fun, and unlike some first-person shooters, holding back the undead hordes is much easier. The characters offered by the game are another reason for making Zombie Age 3 one of the best games on the tablet. And while I'm not sure if the developer honestly licensed some of these characters, you'll find very familiar faces (masks?) including Batman, Deadpool, Ghost Rider, Terminator, and more.

Every Android tablet owner mostly uses it for the same purposes. This is watching movies, reading the news, surfing the Internet and so on. So I decided to collect all the so-called "must-have" applications that everyone needs in one post. For beginners, I think it will be useful to familiarize yourself with the above list so as not to look for the necessary applications and choose the best through trial and error. I must say right away that we will not talk about games, about them some other time :)

I will try to look at things as objectively as possible and choose an application not only because I like it, but because most users like it. And who does not like the proposed program, pay attention to the alternative. After describing the main application, I indicate its competitor, you may like it :)

I can't imagine a tablet without Office. Whether you need to cheat on an exam, or show important documents to a colleague, the program will help. She can show and edit files

text formats: DOC, DOCX, RTF, TXT
table formats: XLS, XLSX, CSV
presentation formats: PPT, PPTX, PPS, PPSX
as well as: PDF, EML

In addition, OfficeSuitePro 6 + can open zip-archives thanks to the built-in file manager, allows you to transfer the desired document immediately from the application via Wi-Fi Direct, mail or print. Able to work with cloud services GoogleDrive and DropBox. An excellent bonus is the built-in pdf converter. And it's also cool that the application interface is in Russian.

The program allows you to save and play your text, graphic and voice notes, and to-do/task lists on other devices. It might look something like this: you started writing an article on the road, and then you came home, sat down at the computer, your Evernote account was synchronized, and you can open and continue writing the article that you started writing on the tablet when you were driving home.

Thus, Evernote will not let you forget anything. The program client is available for iOS, Windows, MacOS and many others. There is also an online version.

Personally, I never found a use for Evernote for myself. But many owners of Android devices really liked it. That's why I included it in the article.

I think that I will not be mistaken if I assume that this situation happens to everyone: you have found an interesting web page or video on the Internet, but there is no time to read / watch the material, since you have to go somewhere. And the maximum that you could do in this case is to re-enter the page you are interested in on your tablet on the road, spending not so little money for mobile Internet.

Now everything has become much easier. You simply mark that you want to view this article or video in your browser and it will be downloaded to your tablet. Then, somewhere away from the Internet, you can enjoy the content you need through Pocket. Moreover, without any advertising or extra site elements like the navigation menu. You can even without illustrations, it's all customizable.

Well, where without a file manager. FileManager HD is specially designed for tablets and supports all the functions necessary for such software: copy/paste, packing/unpacking archives, searching and transferring files, working with DropBox and GoogleDrive services, there is support for Root rights. It can also play streaming video from the network, has a built-in text editor, swf player, gallery.

In my opinion, the best alternative desktop for Android. And many will agree with me. It comes by default in some custom firmwares, and I liked it so much that now I always put it on any firmware.

It can be a lot, it's impossible to count everything. If you're tired of the standard "naked" Android 4.X (and it doesn't work on Android 2.X and 3.X), just try Apex Launcher or its alternative, they are very similar in many ways.

Awesome video player with hardware decoding. Can play all the most popular video formats, including subtitles. Adapted for multi-core devices. Easily control brightness, volume, rewind and zoom with gestures during video playback. Average rating of MX Player by users in the Google Play store: 4.7 out of 5.

alternative: MoboPlayer, VLC
