The best medium tanks in World of Tanks. The best medium tanks in World of Tanks Which medium tank of level 9 is better

In this article we will continue the topic of “best tank destroyers”, this time we will choose the best tank destroyer for 9

Good day, dear readers. In this article, we will continue the theme of “the best tank destroyers”, this time we will choose the best tank destroyer at level 9, the most versatile and intimidating, which simply destroys and leaves only knocked out tanks after its attack. As per the standard, we will highlight the pros and cons of each of the PTs, as well as choose the tactics of behavior on the battlefield. Since we have level 9 tank destroyers in the game, we will start with 9, respectively.

(9th place). One of the stumbling blocks in the T110E3 branch, an extremely difficult tank destroyer to master, forcing many to quit pumping this branch if you have completed T28, T95 will seem more pleasant to you. Let's find out why.

Pros:
1. Our weapon - 750 average damage at level 9 simply will not allow the enemy to mindlessly attack you, it has a huge intimidation factor.
2. Excellent penetration in 276 mm.
3. Armor - this is the main thing that is in the T95, one of the most armored foreheads in the game - 303 mm with an extremely small number of vulnerable points, head-to-head shooting with the T95 is stupid. Our armor stops everything, often even gold shells PT 10, caterpillars devour absolutely all shells without damage. There are also excellent screens on the sides of the hull, it will be difficult to penetrate it even at a small angle, and artillery shells fly in with extremely low damage.
Well, that's all, there are no more pluses, but, alas, there are enough minuses ...

Minuses:
1. Minus, which alone can cross out all the pluses and simply worsen the opinion about the T95. This is of course our dynamic. Having almost 90 tons of weight, they bothered to shove a simply mocking level 6 engine of 510 horsepower into us, which gives us dynamics, we have less than 6 l / s per ton of weight, which simply does not give us any tactics, except for driving near the base, far we won’t crawl away, we’ll drive half a battle to the enemy’s base, and you won’t be able to drive up a very steep hill or mountain, there won’t be enough horses. It is sad to talk about the fact that even TT can swirl us.
2. Was 18 km/h not enough for you on the T28? Well, the T95 will pleasantly surprise you, 13 km / h, well, just without comment, you must understand how bad it is.
3. T95 eats enemy artillery shells well thanks to screens and armor, but the tank is extremely squat and just wide, which gives artillery a good chance to just throw us into the roof with full damage. Also, T95 is one of the tidbits of art, if art has focused you - you are in the hangar with one foot, just evading or hiding will not help you with the shortcomings described above.
4. The armor is extremely strong, but nowhere without vulnerabilities. In the forehead of the hull we have 2 hatches, where they pierce us stably when hit, our NLD is also vulnerable to guns with good penetration, which, although small, can get in and pierce us there.
5. Vulnerable rear part, 51 mm at an almost right angle, at any cost we are not trying to launch LT and ST there, an extremely high probability of engine fire when firing there.

The T95 is very amateurish, the dynamics and love of artillery simply have a sad effect on us. The T95 is a great flank bung or a good base defender, you will often run into a crowd of enemies left against you, this is where you will feel the power of his guns when the enemies burst before you reach you. Try to shine less, because the art is not asleep and is waiting for the suitcase to be sent.

(8th place). The British "tortoise" is in 8th place, having a similarity with the T95.

Pros:
1. Perfectly balanced gun.
2. The best damage per minute on the level, with all the "goodies" - more than 4000 damage per minute.
3. Good frontal armor, 10 often do not penetrate us.
4. We are the “fattest” in terms of safety at the level of 2000 units, like PT 10 is straight.
5. UVN and UGN are just excellent, we still have time to give a bun to the enemy coming to our side.

Minuses:
1. This is a dynamic, having 10 horses per ton, this tank destroyer is not mobile.
2. 20 km/h maximum speed, we are not far from the T95, limits our choice of tactics.
3. We are huge, it is almost impossible not to hit us, artillery has a good priority.
4. A huge bucket on the roof of the building, where everyone sews us.
5. Turning speed - 22 degrees per second, it will not be difficult to circle us.
6. Our alpha, even with our damage per minute, has a funny character, you shouldn't trade it once for a while.
7. Because of the size, bad disguise follows, our barn glows with a bang.

The cake turned out to be a very shed tank destroyer, which also has a non-bush version of the gameplay, as a rule. We try to keep a distance from the enemy and incinerate enemies by damage per minute, we always put on the harp and do not let them leave. Also, don't forget the artillery.

(7th place). The German tank destroyer comes in 7th place.

Pros:
1. Pleasant one-time damage of 560 units, not 750, but still.
2. An accurate gun with a good penetration of 276 units.
3. Armor of the cabin - 250 mm, at least almost at a right angle, but often makes it possible not to break through us with classmates and tanks of a lower level. We also sometimes upset 10 levels.
4. Armor of the VLD hull holds shells of tanks up to level 8 well with medium penetration.
5. Good damage per minute, almost 3000.
6. Good turning speed.
7. Excellent UVN at -10 degrees.

Minuses:
1. We are a shed. So, short and clear, a very high tank, it's hard not to hit us.
2. Problems with enemy artillery, it also loves us, and we have 80 mm hull sides, so we can safely catch full damage.
3. Since we often play with lvl 10, our hull armor is not very good, 10 of us are always sewn there.
4. A tall tank is a bad disguise, this is about us, we glow extremely well.

As a result, an extremely unusual tank destroyer, the tactics of playing on it are not the same as those of most bush tank destroyers. Having good armor in the cabin, excellent HP and high hull, we try to find a small mound on the battlefield, a pile of debris, a stone, etc., to hide our “not very” strong hull. We also try not to stand in open areas, because in the light we are in priority with artillery.

(6th place). Tank destroyers based on the T-54 are in 6th place, everything seems to be there, but you need to consider all the nuances.

Pros:
1. Our dynamics - almost 19 horses per ton, we occupy the most unexpected positions for the enemy.
2. Excellent turning speed - even lt will not spin us around.
3. Excellent disguise.
4. Good damage per minute.

Minuses:
1. Weak armor on all sides, almost everyone sews us.
2. UVN -4 will give us a lot of inconvenience.
3. With our rate of fire, we have 35 shells, which will sometimes be missed.

This tank destroyer is like a “ninja from the shadows”, we just take advantageous positions, use disguise and play from it. We can also go with ST and help them, the speed allows.

(5th place). A new British tank destroyer based on the Centurion with a very unusual gameplay.

Pros:
1. We have a tower that rotates 360 degrees, which gives variety to our game, it is very difficult to spin us.
2. Balanced gun in all respects.
3. Good specific power, almost 19 horses per ton, like the previous tank destroyer, gives an even greater range of possibilities thanks to the tower.
4. Excellent damage per minute, almost 3100.

Minuses:
1. Having a hull from a centurion, we understand that there is no armor there. The armor in the turret is also small, only the mask will sometimes hold back the projectile, but nothing more. So greetings from artillery for full damage are provided to us.
2. The deadliest tank destroyer on the level is only 1500 units.
3. In the presence of a tower, we have not very good UVN at -5 degrees.
4. Small view, only 380 meters.
5. A total of 35 shells, sometimes it will not be enough.
6. Not an impressive weapon in terms of one-time damage.
7. Bad disguise.

Conway can be used for different playstyles, but given the poor camouflage and not strong armor, it is better to refrain from constant exposure, we can support allied CTs if necessary, and we also feel great in urban conditions thanks to the tower.

(4th place). Former tier 10 TT, which is now a tier 9 tank destroyer, we have it in 4th place, it was heavily nerfed in order to be transferred to a tank destroyer, but it is still relevant. Let's take a look at what it is now.

Pros:
1. A powerful weapon with excellent penetration and the highest alpha strike at 750 units.
2. The presence of the most armored tower in 280 mm, we tank it with a bang, only PT 10 can penetrate us there, and even then, not always.
3. We have excellent UVN at -10 degrees, we stick out only the tower from behind the hill and destroy all living things.

Minuses:
1. Long mixing and poor accuracy.
2. We have a flimsy case, we try not to show it.
3. Long reload time for our top gun.
4. Weak mobility.
5. Not the best view, only 380 meters.
6. We have a typical hatch for American TTs on the roof of the tower, not a bucket, like the T110, but still, they can get in and pierce us there.
7. Bad disguise.

T30 as a former TT, it remained so when transferred to a tank destroyer. On the battlefield, we try to support allied TTs with the help of our most powerful weapons, we also always play from the hills, sticking out only our strong tower.

(3rd place). So we got to the bronze medalist of our rating, the only French level 9 tank destroyer in the game.

Pros:
1. Having some 180 mm in the forehead, we do not forget about the slope of the forehead, with the given angle, our armor comes out more than 300 mm, they won’t just break through us.
2. The best dynamics at the level, almost 20 horses per ton.
3. Well balanced gun with good accuracy and rate of fire.
4. The maximum of 50km/h gives us more freedom of action.
5. Good turning speed, it is difficult to spin us.

Minuses:
1. In addition to the forehead of the hull, there is almost no armor, everything penetrates us there, even artillery for full damage.
2. Long mixing of guns.
3. Vulnerable turret in front and a rangefinder, although the rangefinder breaks only into the very center with damage.
4. A weak weapon with an alpha of 400 units, you won’t be particularly intimidated by this.
5. One of the worst durability points - only 1550 units.

This tank destroyer has a wide range of tactics on the battlefield, all depending on the map. We can play from our disguise on the 2nd line, we can support the allied art. And on city maps we feel like a fish in water, during skirmishes we always try to twist the hulls in order to reduce the likelihood of us hitting the turrets. But do not forget about the artillery, in almost 80% of the cases we are a one-shot for them.

(2nd place). The most formidable tank destroyer of the USSR at level 9 gets the silver of our rating, it was a little short of 1st place, but there are reasons for that.

Pros:
1. Highest penetration of 286 units and best alpha strike at -750 units.
2. Great camouflage, 704 is just shooting bushes at you.
3. The presence of screens on the sides, we often upset the enemy with a shot without damage there.
4. A huge gun mask that eats everything that gets into it.

Minuses:
1. Extremely slanting tool, nicknamed the guslesnimatel.
2. Long time attention.
3. Poor turning speed.
4. The number of strength points leaves much to be desired.
5. Not the best dynamics in general.

Object 704 remains one of the most serious and intimidating tank destroyers at tier 9, but in terms of versatility, it was a little short of 1st place. The tactics of the game are just standard for tank destroyers, we stand on 2 lines (you can get closer in the bushes, because disguise allows) and shoot with our most powerful BL-10, which incinerates everything when it hits.

(1 place). The German tank destroyer gets the gold of our ranking, simply one of the most perfect tank destroyers in the game. Let's take a look at the advantages and disadvantages.

Pros:
1. Excellent camouflage, in the presence of a tower, we do not have to turn the hull, reducing it.
2. The presence of a tower with 360-degree rotation will often help us out.
3. Just a great view of 410 meters, we see everything, but they do not see us.
4. Just a great weapon in all respects, I would say even the best at the level, although the Jagdtiger has the same, but it is better in some respects.
5. Base from PZ. IV, so we have a small whole and good dynamics.
6. Excellent turning speed, it is unrealistic to spin us around + the presence of a tower.
But without flaws anywhere.

Minuses:
1. Light weight, we are extremely vulnerable to ramming.
2. We don’t have armor, sometimes they don’t sew us into the hull with land mines, but they constantly fly into the wheelhouse with full damage.
3. Not the best UVN at -5 degrees, but the tower compensates
4. A small number of strength points - 1600 units.
5. We are a one-shot for artillery in 95% of cases, only hitting a gun or caterpillars will save us.

Waffentragerauf. P.Z. IV is the most versatile tank destroyer at tier 9. We do not depend on the team, we can both enlighten ourselves and punish the enemy ourselves, having an excellent weapon with a tower, we also feel comfortable on city maps. But mostly we play from the 2nd line and the bushes, because our excellent weapon and disguise allow it. But we try to hide from the light, because hitting us is always very unpleasant, especially from artillery.

So we put all the tank destroyers on the shelves, learned the pros and cons of each. Your opinion on the places of these tank destroyers in the list may differ from ours, but we tried to put everything objectively.

Hello tankers! We continue our hit parade of the best tanks at our level, and today we have

Hello tankers! We continue our hit parade of the best tanks at our level, and today we have medium tanks in line. We will start with a light level 3 and finish with a hot level 10. Well then, let's go!

Level 3 - . The tank has excellent performance at its level, and although not in everything, it still stands out among classmates, and an acceptable gun with 70 damage and 81 mm penetration will not let our hated enemies get bored. And the dynamics will not let you stand in one place, because 11 l / s per ton accelerates the device quite well to 43 km / h maximum speed. Booking certainly fails, but with such a tool and dynamics, you will turn a blind eye to this.

Pros:
good top weapons;

small dimensions and height;
good rate of fire of the top gun;
the best circular booking among classmates.

Minuses:
weak armor of the tank as a whole;
mediocre dynamics;
low accuracy of the top gun.

Level 4 - . Unexpected, isn't it? Surely you thought that this is a dull tank that is not capable of doing anything on the battlefield. Not to mention the dynamics, we will immediately begin to praise his weapon, because it really kills the nerve cells of any of our enemies, a beating of 121 mm does not allow us to suffer even with 6 levels. The damage of 55 is certainly not great, but inflicting them every 1.77 seconds is quite nice. Speaking of armor, it is worth noting that it is the best among us, not just tier 4 CTs, but in general all tanks at tier 4. 75 mm round turret armor, hull 75/70/55.

Pros:
good booking for its level;
quick-firing and accurate gun QF 2-pdr Mk. X-B with very high projectile speed;
good margin of safety;
good review;
good gun depression angles;
side screens.

Minuses:
very low specific power;
low burst damage
weaker stern armor.

Level 5 - . At level 5, nothing special, our experienced old man T-34 decided to take it. Just like 4 years ago, he still copes well with the tanks from the red team. The gun penetrates 125 mm armor, deals 115 damage each, and reloads in an average of 5 seconds (pretty average for level 5). Dynamics, by analogy with a tool, does not have any exorbitant numbers. The specific power is 17 l / s, the maximum speed is 56 km / h, and our tank is also spinning well. Armor 34ka can’t really show off, it remains only to circle opponents and not let them shoot at themselves, or behind the hill, highlighting, shoot yourself into a piggy bank damage.

Pros:
- Acceptable dynamics;
- An excellent weapon for its level;
- High turret agility;
- Reservation of the tower makes itself felt;
- Very uncommon returns.

Minuses:
- Mediocre body armor;
- Extremely low damage of the top gun.

Level 6 - . Yes, yes, yes, your favorite and unsurpassed imba at his level. Without armor, of course, but at a maximum speed of 64 km / h we fly across the battlefield and demolish everything in our path. The gun, just a wild "machine gun", penetration - 145 mm, damage 135 with a reload time of 2 seconds. Excellent performance, what can I say. 6-level imba with superior performance.

Pros:
excellent maneuverability and dynamics;
good aiming angles;
good gun performance (penetration, rate of fire, accuracy);
low-critical ammo rack.

Minuses:
weak armor (sometimes it is possible to tank with a turret);
poor stabilization.

Level 7 - . What can be said about the T20? This is just a wonderful tank. Its passage will give you more than pleasure. 160 mm of penetration, 240 damage and a cooldown of 8.5 seconds gives us the ability to easily deal damage and destroy opponents. Mixing in 2.3 seconds is quite good, but not for us, because the dynamics we have with a bang! 18 horses per ton of weight with a maximum speed of 56 km / h will not let us just stand in the bushes. Stabilization is not the first "freshness", so we will not always succeed in shooting on the move. Booking with us is the same as with all STs of level 7. We are pierced by everyone from level 7, and even most of the 6 levels. In general, the tank turned out to be very successful.

Pros:
low silhouette;
good vertical aiming angles;
balanced weapon;
good dynamics;
the possibility of installing a stabilizer;
good review.

Minuses:
mediocre maneuverability;
weak booking;
high chance of critical damage.

Level 8 - . A gray mouse is at level 8, but few people know that this is exactly what a level 8 ST should be like, by analogy with the T-34, at its level it has average guns, dynamics and armor. The weapon is simple in everything: it penetrates 180 and 240 damage with a cooldown of 7.5 seconds and a good convergence of 2.3 seconds. The armor does not stand out in any way: the tower is 127 mm in the forehead, and the sheets of the forehead of the hull do not exceed 101 mm. There is also a slope of the armor, but the reduced armor (180-190 mm) is not always enough for us in the fight, starting from level 8. Although the dynamics wish for the best, the tank is acceptably picking up speed up to 48 km/h with a specific power of 13 horsepower per ton. And in general, the tank does not bother in its passage.

Pros:
excellent damage per minute;
high accuracy on the go;
accurate and penetrating tool;
a good view, which can be supplemented with coated optics and get one of the best views in the game.

Minuses:
weak booking;
vulnerability of internal modules.

Level 9 - . Few people agree with this choice, but alas. Fans of the T-54 with a wild eye will read this text, but try to understand us. E 50, has monstrous accuracy, which gives him the right to “smoke” at the base, already distribute buns to the enemy, and the damage did not disappoint: 390, and penetration of 220 mm is enough for us, although not always, but we hear “did not break through” not too often. A cooldown of 9 seconds is quite long, but despite the accuracy, damage and alpha, we are ready to wait that long. The dynamics are quite good, but 11 horses per ton of weight is not so much. Having gained a maximum speed of 60 km/h, our 60-ton CT becomes an infernal ramming machine. The tank will cause difficulties only when it is pumped to the TOP state, and then ... Forward to the E 50M.

Pros:
precise and powerful 105 mm. tool;
good speed qualities;
excellent frontal armor;
a combination of good speed qualities and a large mass allows you to effectively ram the enemy.

Minuses:
weak booking sides and stern;
poor agility;
tall silhouette.

Level 10 - . And here he is, the bender of all randomness. Cast iron tower 240 mm. does its job. The performance of the gun is also excellent: Penetration of 264 mm. and damage of 320 will not allow us to shoot long and tediously with opponents. In addition, the recharge is also not great: only 5.5 seconds. And of course, everything is in order with the mixing: 2 seconds. What else does this tank need. Maybe speakers? No, we are fine with her too. 15 l / s per ton accelerate the car to 50 km / h. Not a lot, but so far no one has complained about the dynamics of this beautiful ST. The T-62A is spinning at a speed of 56 degrees / s. The characteristics of the tank in almost all respects are not inferior to classmates.

Pros:
a fairly accurate gun with fast aiming and excellent stabilization;
one of the best DPM indicators among all ST-10s;
good patency on all soils and high agility;
excellent frontal armor and ricochet turret shape;
low vulnerability of tower hatches;
low visibility and low silhouette;
high turret traverse speed.

Minuses:
low for lvl 10. damage per shot;
long repair of caterpillars;
weak hull armor;
not a very comfortable angle of depression of the gun.

In the end, I want to say that the choice fell purely at the discretion of the author. Of course, at level 9, many expected to see the T-54 or the newcomer Ob 430 II, and at the tenth level, many expected Ob 140, or Bat.Chat 25t (with its breathtaking drum), but the result is the result. In the next part you will see light tanks. Good luck with your fights!

Medium tanks are the most versatile type of combat vehicles in the world. You can go to them for reconnaissance, and go on the main front of the offensive, and provide support from the flanks. Their armor is generally thin for the first line of attack, but at the initial levels, they can quite replace heavy tanks.

We have studied absolutely all the medium tanks presented at the moment (late April - early May 2016) in World of Tanks and are now ready to tell you which of them are the best.

Tier III - Type 97 Chi-Ha (Japan)

3rd level - Japanese samurai Type 97 Chi-Ha. A pleasant tank to pass through, but due to the location not in the most popular nation, not known to many.

Having good dynamics (11 l / s per ton, the device accelerates quite well to 43 km / h) and mediocre armor has a rather interesting weapon. Damage - 70 units. Good damage, allows you to destroy "classmates" in a couple of shots, and the penetration of this gun is 81 mm. With such penetration, even Tier 5 tanks will not be an insurmountable problem. There is not much health (like most low-level tanks), but vertical aiming angles of -15 ... + 20 ° allow you to play from any hills, thereby showing only the tower and reducing the chance of taking damage.

Advantages:

  • excellent top gun,
  • wide vertical aiming angles,
  • compact dimensions.

Flaws:

  • the armor is generally thin,
  • dynamics so-so
  • gun accuracy is low.

Tier IV - Matilda (UK)

Level 4 and Matilda awaits us. This heavy medium tank is a storm among low-level machine gunners.

Two huge pluses - armor and guns. There are 3 top guns to choose from, but we'll talk about the QF 2-pdr Mk. X-B. With a damage of 55 units you will not surprise anyone even at level 4, but with a penetration of 121 mm and a rate of fire of 28 fpm we are able to consistently penetrate even tanks at level 6. And the Matilda armor was delivered. The all-round armor of the 75/70/55 hull allows us to repel most of the shells at level 4, but if we also “rhombus”, we will be able to repel a shot from a tank even of the 6th level. And yes, the tower is still the same 75 mm.

Oh yes, the dynamics ... it is not. Rather, it is the dynamics of a heavy tank… oh-oh-very heavy tank (maximum speed is 24 km/h, but the good news is that we are gaining it quickly enough).

Advantages:

  • great booking for level 4,
  • high projectile speed,
  • strength lasts for a long time,
  • excellent gun depression angles,
  • side screens.

Flaws:

  • slightly thin armor on the stern.

Tier V - T-34 (USSR)

At level 5 we have a legend of Soviet military history and one of the most balanced tanks in the game - the T-34. Most beginners consider it their duty to pump this tank in first.

The top-end ZiS-4 gun (colloquially known as a “hole puncher”) penetrates 112 mm armor with a base projectile, and although the damage of 85 units is not great, with a reload of 3.4 seconds, the DPM turns out to be 1500 units, which in total equals almost four “thirty-fours”. Also, with such a reload, it is very convenient to keep the enemy on the "gusle". In terms of mobility, he is not offended: an excellent turning speed (40 degrees / sec), a specific power of 17 l / s allows us to quickly start our movement, and a maximum speed of 56 km / h will allow us to quickly change flanks in unforeseen cases. The armor of the “teshka” is 52 mm in the forehead of the turret and 45 mm in the forehead of the hull, and although the VLD has a rational slope of 60 °, there is no need to expect frequent ricochets and non-penetrations.

So it is better to try not to substitute and, if possible, play from the terrain (because the vertical aiming angles are -8 ... + 20 °, and because of the small hill it is possible to shoot "damage").

Advantages:

  • good dynamics,
  • excellent gun with high DPM,
  • fast turret traverse speed,
  • versatility.

Flaws:

  • armor seems to be there, but it seems not to be.

Tier VI - Cromwell (UK)

"Kromvelechek" at the 6th level.

British? Yes. "Cardboard"? Yes... "Imba"? Yes! Why? The maximum speed of 64 km/h and good camouflage allow you to play the role of both a medium and a light tank without falling into tier 9. He is also capable of taking care of himself. A weapon with decent damage of 135 HP, high penetration, and a 2-second cooldown makes it possible to quickly annihilate enemies caught in the scope... as well as an artillery!

Despite the pressed oatmeal armor and the presence in the branch with not the most interesting “top”, this tank is worthy of staying in your hangar and bringing great pleasure.

Advantages:

  • excellent dynamics;
  • excellent vertical aiming angles;
  • excellent penetration, rate of fire and accuracy of the guns.

Flaws:

  • weak booking,
  • poor stabilization in motion.

Tier VII - T20 (USA)

At the 7th level, there is such a tank as the T20. Many players undeservedly consider it to be quite passable, which is fundamentally not the case.

Well, yes, again a fast tank (18 horses per ton of weight with a maximum speed of 56 km / h will not be allowed to stand in the bushes) without much armor, but let's look at the gun. 160 mm penetration... and 240 damage! This is no longer a picking stick, but a normal adult tool. But we pay for this damage with a very mediocre stabilization of the gun - it will not always be possible to hit on the move.

Advantages:

  • very good dynamics
  • excellent aiming angles,
  • biting tool.

Flaws:

  • weak booking,
  • poor stabilization.

Tier VIII - M26 Pershing (USA)

At level 8, the tank named after the general is the M26 Pershing. The most that neither is the "medium" tank. Both in terms of gameplay and features.

It is more than versatile for different situations. But it is precisely the versatility that is the essence of this class. The gun does not have any pronounced minuses or pluses: penetration of 180 and 240 “damages” with a CD of 7.5 sec and convergence of 2.3 sec. The armor does not stand out: the tower is 127 mm in the forehead, and the VLD exceeds 101 mm. There is also a slope of the armor, but the reduced armor of 180-190 mm will not always be enough in the fight against classmates, not to mention the “tens”.

Although the dynamics are not like the T20, the tank confidently picks up speed up to 48 km / h, though you don’t even think about “shine” it.

Advantages:

  • good gun stabilization,
  • high accuracy and armor penetration.

Flaws:

  • relatively thin armor,
  • lightly critable ammo rack.

Tier IX - T-54 (USSR)

Level 9 and we are met by the T-54 - one of the most versatile tanks in the game. It can quite successfully replace the "strands" due to the excellent armor of the tower. And thanks to its relatively compact size and good dynamics, it can also play the role of a scout.

To support the team from the second line or from the flank, it is also suitable - its gun has an acceptable penetration and rate of fire. However, you should not engage in the same battle throughout the entire battle - carefully monitor the course of the battle and use the appropriate tactics, based on the circumstances.,

Advantages:

  • thick turret armor,
  • high rate of fire of the gun,
  • great dynamics.

Flaws:

  • thin hull armor,
  • weak gun depression angles.

Tier X - Bat.-Châtillon 25 t (France)

The best medium tank for platoon play is the French Bat.-Chatillon 25t. Excellent dynamics is a hallmark of the "Batshat": a quick drawdown and no less rapid retreat in the event of a large concentration of enemies are not alien to him. The "Frenchman" has a drum loading mechanism for 5 shells with good damage for each, but, taking into account not the best stabilization, it will be possible to effectively inflict "damage" only with full convergence, respectively - standing still.

"Batshat" - "cardboard". In the best traditions of French tank building. The best tactic would be not to expose, while maintaining health, but if you are confident in your superiority, then you can rush in and "carousel" the enemies. If you like drum tanks, high dynamics and you are not embarrassed by the almost complete absence of armor - the “Frenchman” is your choice!

Among other things, the Batillon Chatillon is one of the most beautiful and unusual tanks in the game.

Advantages:

  • excellent dynamics,
  • high projectile damage,
  • drum tool,
  • good rate of fire.

Flaws:

  • poor gun stabilization
  • low accuracy on the go,
  • relatively thin armor.

Hello everyone and welcome to the site! Today in the guide we will talk about a very familiar, but new tank, which is also a representative of a new nation in our game. This guide is about the Italian tier 9 medium tank Prototipo Standard B!

Detailed TTX Prototipo Standard B

To give you an idea, we have a typical Level 9 Leopard, but with a drum reloading mechanism. Prototipo Standard B stands out above all for good armor penetration, good dynamics and good visibility. But here there is no armor at all and in the top one-time damage is 360 units. Also, the accuracy indicators with the speed of aiming are not at all encouraging, which is why sometimes it will be problematic to win back a sniper. So we have a typical support tank that will play mainly from the second lane.

Advantages and disadvantages of Prototipo Standard B

In general terms, we figured it out, identified several strengths and weaknesses of this machine, and now we will introduce a little specifics and break everything down into points for clarity.

Pros:
Drum recharging system;
Good maximum speed;
Good dynamics;
Good review;
High armor penetration of the gun.

Minuses:
Low DPM;
Poor accuracy;

Tactics of the game on Prototipo Standard B

The tactics of actions on this tank in World of Tanks, in general, will not differ from the game on a classic medium tank, namely a German level 9 ST, but with one caveat - sometimes we can distribute as many as 3 shells at our opponent in a row. Another thing is that when playing on a tank with the mechanics of reloading, the cooldown of the entire drum lasts for a very long time, and here, you need to take into account some aspects - is it worth giving out a whole drum and leaving for a long reload, or is it possible to give out 1-2 shells, causing less damage, but keeping more or less fast CD shots. Again, it all depends on the situation in the battle, and this applies both to playing in the top and playing against level 10, because our tank has no armor, but has fairly good mobility.
