In any company there is always a person who knows how to cheer up and lift your spirits. Often this is a good storyteller, a lover of jokes, or a born entertainer. You don't have such talents, but you also wouldn't mind being in the spotlight?

There is a way out: you can try to master the art of magic in order to amaze your friends with real miracles. And for this it is not at all necessary to dissolve in water or cut yourself in two. Start with a small, but no less interesting performance - learn how to do tricks with coins. So, we reveal the secrets of illusionists.

You will need:

Appearance inside a glass

You need to prepare in advance, and you can only perform the trick once per evening. You will need: a transparent glass, a coin, glue and a scarf.

Glue the penny to the bottom. Show the audience an empty container, holding it from below, you can turn it over and run away. Then pour water into it, once again demonstrating that there is nothing in the glass.

Throw a scarf on top and announce that a coin will now appear inside. Here it is appropriate to say some abracadabra or make magical passes with your hands. Remove the scarf and invite the audience to look into the container - the coin, as you promised, lies at the bottom.

The secret is an optical illusion. When you look at the glass from the side, you get the impression that there is nothing in it; you can only see the object from above.

Invisible Rise

Place the penny on the table and invite someone to take it without touching the table or the penny itself. Naturally, no one can do this.

The trick is that you need to hold your hand 5 cm from the coin and blow on it with enormous force. Thus, the air is able to lift an object and throw it directly into the palm. We don’t promise that the trick will work the first time, but after several trainings you will learn everything.

Edge stand

Ask the audience for a large coin. Then stand facing them with your right hand extended forward, palm down. Place the disc between your fingers. Then carefully remove your left hand - the penny will remain on the edge and will not fall.

The point is an ordinary pin. As you place the penny on the fingers of your right hand, push the small pin head down with the thumb of your left hand, positioning it just behind it. The coin will stand straight on its edge, supported by a support invisible to the viewer.

Lemon

Prepare some fruits and put them on a plate. Invite the audience to see that the lemons in front of them are ordinary. Ask which lemon needs to be cut. Divide it into two parts with a knife - there will be a coin inside.

What's the catch? Everything is simple - you need to glue a coin to the knife using a thin layer of plasticine (closer to the handle, where you cover it with your hand). When pulling out the knife, pinch the blade with two lemon halves and you're done!

Brush

Place the coin in your palm. Take a regular brush in your other hand. Invite any spectator to clean the coin from your hand. And no matter how hard he tries, it won’t work. As an intrigue, you can even promise a prize to the winner. But that won't happen.

What is the secret of focus? It's just that the bristles of the brush are elastic and always work in different directions - some move it up, while others move it down. In this cunning way, the object always remains in the center of the palm.

Disappearance

Take a penny from your pocket and clasp it in your fist. Then ask someone who wants to hold your hand and make sure that the coin does not disappear. He won’t be able to do this, because as soon as you open your fist, there will be no coin in it.

How to do this trick? Take out a lot of small change of different denominations from your pocket. Pick one, say you don't need the others and throw them back. Create the appearance of holding a coin between the thumb and index finger of your right hand. In fact, there is no trace of it, since it went into the pocket along with the others.

These are all the simplest coin tricks that are easy to teach even to a child. If you have a more demanding viewer, and you do not intend to stop there, read on.

Sleight of hand

First of all, you need to practice several manual techniques until they become automatic:

Holding a coin in an open palm

Place 5 pennies in the center of the brush and very slowly begin to close it. If you choose the right place, the palm will begin to contract, securely fixing the position of the coin. Now you can wave your hand as you please without fear of it falling out.

Practice on both hands. In this case, you should show only the outer or side part of your palm to the audience.

Hiding

There are several techniques to make it appear as if an object is moving from one hand to another. We recommend studying them all, since the same method will quickly arouse suspicion among an attentive counterpart.

  1. Take the coin with your index and middle fingers, holding it with your thumb. Then bend it back and pull the coin towards your palm - it will fall exactly in the place that you determined in the previous exercise. Now you need to work with both hands. One hides the coin, and the other seems to take it. As a result, the empty palm is kept closed, and the hand with the coin needs to be opened and lowered freely.
  2. Hold the coin between the index and ring fingers of your right hand. While moving it towards the left, simultaneously place your thumb on the coin, covering it with the upper knuckle. Bend your finger and hide the coin in this place, keeping it slightly bent. Make a movement with your other hand as if the money is already in it.
  3. Place the coin in the middle of your palm, and with your other hand make a realistic movement, as if you are taking it and hiding it in your fist. Lower your first hand, holding it open - the penny is hiding in our safe hollow.
  4. The coin lies on the open hand. Move the other one so that your thumb goes under it and the rest on top, and immediately close your palm. From the outside it looks like you picked up the object, but in reality you drop it back, covering it with your fingers.
  5. The penny is held with the index, middle and thumb, with the inside of the palm facing the magician. With the same fingers of your other hand, you seem to grab it, meanwhile allowing it to slide into your half-bent palm.
  6. Ideal for using a large coin. Hold it with your index, middle and thumb fingers and, as if placing it on your other hand, use the tip of your thumb to move it to the middle phalanges. The hand remains open, and the coin is held at the ends by the pressure of the index and little fingers.

All movements should be calm, soft and as believable as possible. The gaze should always be directed towards the empty hand, this encourages the audience to also focus on it.

There are other methods, but to get started, it’s enough to master the ones described. Don't forget that these are just techniques, not actual tricks. You shouldn’t limit yourself to just hiding - you can surprise the audience a couple of times with your dexterity, but at the same time you will half reveal your secrets. We recommend that you always accompany all actions with magic spells and waves of your hands; it doesn’t hurt to have a “magic” wand, which often helps to hide the location of money and hide it in a secluded place.

Now it's time to learn more complex coin tricks.

Penetration through glass

Show the empty glass and close the open part of it tightly with your hand. Turn it upside down, tap it with a coin and push it inside - it will ring between the walls and your palm.

To do such a trick, you need two absolutely identical pennies. One is shown to the audience, and the other is hidden in an open palm. Cover the container with this hand, tap the bottom with the first coin, and with the last movement, release the secret money inside, and quickly and discreetly hide the one with which you knocked.

The missing money

Place your left elbow on the table, and with your right hand begin to rub the coin into your forearm. Let it fall out on the table after a few seconds - this is necessary for the trick.

In micromagic (tricks performed at close range), objects that are completely ordinary for everyday life and are familiar to almost any viewer are often used. Making an ordinary coin levitate and defy the laws of physics can easily stun and baffle the public. There are several different coin levitation tricks. Many of them are based on sleight of hand, so you will have to spend some time practicing to hone your skills. By training your hands from tossing a coin in the air to making it disappear and finally levitating, you'll be sure to impress your friends.

Steps

Muscular hand passes

Find the magic area on your palm and grab the coin with it. Muscular hand passes are one of the most impressive displays of manual dexterity, and they can also be used to create the appearance of levitating a coin. For the trick to be performed to look quite impressive, the muscles of the palm must be quite well developed. The trick itself is performed with the pad of the palm located next to the thumb; it is with its help that the coin is thrown into the air.

    • Open the palm of your dominant hand and examine it. Notice the large bump at the base of the big toe. It is this that is considered the magical part of the palm where you will place the coin.
    • Take a US half dollar or other foreign coin about 30mm in diameter, or a poker chip. In most cases, Russian five rubles will be too small to successfully perform the trick.
    • With your other hand, place the coin in your palm. Place your thumb over the coin. Pay attention to how the muscles work and the pad at the base of the thumb behaves, covering the coin. Play with different placements of the coin until you are confident in gripping it with the pad.
  1. Turn your hand palm down. Holding the coin in your palm, turn your hand over. See if the coin falls or remains in your hand. Slowly spread your fingers until the coin falls out.

Practice jumping a coin out of your hand using muscle passes. It will probably take you several weeks to master this step. Muscular hand passes belong to the advanced category of tricks, and practical training with them can lead to pain.

    • Place the coin on the magic area of your palm and press down. You can press the coin into your palm either with the fingers of the other hand or with the middle and ring fingers of the same hand. Using the fingers of the same hand that holds the coin makes the whole process more natural.
    • Place your thumb on the coin. It is necessary to move the thumb so that the muscle and pad at its base grab the coin. Try not to twist your hand too much. If the fingers of the hand are strongly bent, the coin will not be able to jump out of the hand, but will simply hit the fingers.
    • Pull your thumb back and down sharply. This movement will subsequently allow you to toss the coin upward, causing it to “fly”.
  2. Adjust the position of the coin. If you feel like the coin doesn't have enough grip when you move your thumb back, adjust its position. It will take you some time to find the most suitable point for placing the coin in your palm.

    • To master muscular hand passes, you need to practice a lot. However, there must be moderation in everything. As soon as your hand starts to hurt or become red, stop the activity to rest. Don't give up on your training and, in the end, you will be able to toss a coin up with one movement of your palm.
  3. Perform the trick with a well-honed muscular hand pass. To perform a trick based on a skillful hand pass, you will need to show the spectator a coin and explain that it will magically fly out of the bottom palm and fly into the top.

    • Do not explain to the viewer the technique of performing the trick, otherwise it will have a bad effect on their visual perception. Don't talk about making muscle passes with your arms. Just say you're going to make the coin fly up.
    • Place your other palm over the palm with the coin and move your fingers for a special effect.
    • While you do this, use your middle and ring fingers to check that the coin is in the right place in your palm.
    • If you want, say some magic words. Then move your thumb back, performing a muscle pass.
    • Catch the coin that jumps up with your other hand.

An invisible coin disappears, freezes and appears out of thin air

    1. Make a coin “disappear.” This trick is less about levitation and more about creating the illusion of a coin disappearing and reappearing.

    2. Take the invisible coin to make it fly. Here we can explain how to levitate a coin, you must first make it invisible so that the flight is no longer hampered by excess weight.

      • Pretend to pick up the coin as if it were really there. The subsequent stages of performing the trick will require you to convincingly perform actions with an invisible object.
      • Also note that when you pick up an invisible coin, you will be using the hand that actually holds the coin. Hold the real coin with a finger grip and always position your hand so that spectators cannot see it.
      • Before performing the trick, practice holding a real coin in your hand. Feel the weight of the coin with your hand, pay attention to the position of your fingers and the movements of your hand.
      • Pretend that you are picking up an invisible coin. Remember what this process looked like with a real coin. Don't squeeze your fingers all the way. Even though the coin is quite flat, there must be a small gap between your fingers. Also, do not forget about the weight of the coin.
      • Lift the coin into the air and release. Explain that you simply hung an invisible coin in the air where it will hang until you need it again.
      • Do not forget that all this time the real coin is held by the finger grip. With an invisible coin suspended in the air, tilt the hand holding the coin so as to show the audience an empty palm, but keep the coin itself covered, pinching it between your fingers.
    3. Grab the invisible coin. Once you've convinced your audience that an invisible coin is floating in the air, snatch the coin out of the air with your free hand.

      • Take an invisible coin, paying special attention to the technique of using an empty hand with an imaginary object.
      • Raise the hand with the real coin towards the hand with the imaginary coin.
      • At the same time, hold the coin with your finger grip, tilting your palm so that the audience can see that there is nothing in your palm.
      • Tell them that the coin will appear at any time you wish, you just need to make it visible again.
    4. Make a coin appear. When placing an invisible coin in the hand containing the real coin, curl your fingers around the empty hand.

      • As you form your fist, allow the coin to slip out of your finger grip, landing on the index finger of your empty hand.
      • With your outer hand still clenched into a fist, pinch the coin between the thumb and index finger of your inner (previously empty) hand.
      • Now the coin will be in the hand in which you took the invisible coin from the air.
      • Open your outer fist to show the viewer that the coin is visible again.

Levitation of a coin between the palms

    1. Take a large souvenir coin. To perform this trick, you will need a fairly large coin (larger than those in circulation in the Russian Federation). The coin will levitate in the space between two slightly cupped palms. This trick is difficult to perform close to spectators because you will be touching the coin all the time.

      • The size of the coin is very important as it must be large enough to be easily viewed between your fingers.
      • To perform the trick, pick up the coin with either hand.
      • Bring your other hand to the coin so that you can now grab it with both hands, with your thumbs facing you.
    2. Place your fingertips around the perimeter of the coin. Make sure the pads of your thumbs are on the left and right edges of the coin.

      • The thumbs should press on the coin and thereby hold it.
      • The remaining fingers should be slightly bent, and their tips should only lightly touch the front edge of the coin.
      • Remember that only your thumbs should actually hold the coin.
    3. Extend your arms forward. You can enhance the effect of the illusion by moving your arms forward slightly and then moving them back towards your body. Constant movement helps distract viewers.

      • Slowly straighten your fingers. Straighten your fingers (except your thumbs) opposite each other. In this case, the fingertips of the left and right hands should be at a distance of about 2.5 cm from each other.
      • Keep your fingers as close to each other as possible. They should provide a kind of screen through which the audience will not be able to see that you are holding the coin with your thumbs.
      • With your fingers straight, begin to lightly move the coin up and down with your thumbs. This will create the effect of a coin floating between your palms.
    4. Practice levitating a coin until you are completely free of clumsy movements. It will take some time for the focus to look as natural as possible.

      • Once you have mastered the actual act of grabbing a coin, start observing your actions through a mirror. Be sure to take into account the audience's point of view.
      • Do not forget that the coin should not be very visible. Also practice in the same conditions in which you will perform. If you plan to sit at a table, practice at a table, as this will put you noticeably closer to your audience.
      • Try to achieve through practice that you can grasp the coin between the pads of your thumbs so easily that it is not even noticeable from the outside that you are holding it.
      • See if you can't rotate the coin so that it doesn't fall to enhance the illusion. This will require some practice. Remember to cover your thumbs with your other fingers so that they are not visible.
    • If you are using a regular coin, don't focus on it too much. Drawing the viewer's attention to the fact that the coin is completely ordinary can distract him from thinking about coins with tricks. Let the audience guess that the coin is simple by the way you handle and talk about it.
    • To perform a trick, it is necessary to take into account the viewing angles of the audience (different perspective points).
    • Spend enough time practicing until you can do magic tricks confidently. Self-confidence and the ability to accompany the performance with a whole story will allow you to captivate the audience and introduce distracting maneuvers into the process that will divert the attention of the audience directly from your hands.
    • Practice in front of a mirror or film yourself to get a better idea of how you'll look in public.

The magician puts the thumb of his left hand vertically up and places a coin on its tip; with his right hand he begins to make clicks around the coin. after one of them the coin disappears...

The secret of the trick: If you touch a coin with your middle finger while clicking, it will fly into the sleeve of your right hand. After a short training, the focus will be achieved 100% of the time. It is advisable to show 1-2 spectators, who should be exactly opposite the magician - then they will not be able to see how the coin disappears.

Coin with a Vanishing Side

Maybe many people know how this trick is performed, but still. So, borrow a coin from someone. Place it at the base of your thumb. Then tell the audience that you can make the back of a coin disappear and leave only one side. The audience is perplexed! And you calmly proceed: ask the audience, who have already come to their senses, which side of the coin you should make disappear.

The secret of the trick: Let's say that you were offered to leave the "heads" and make the "tails" disappear. Then place the coin as stated above, with the “eagle” side up. Now quickly bend your thumb at the base into your palm. As a result, the coin will slide off the base and will be in the air for a moment. It is at this moment that you turn your hand palm down. At this time, the coin is still in flight above your hand. Bring your other hand under the coin to later catch the coin. Now the coin is (still in the air) between your hands! And “slam” it between your palms. It will seem to the audience that the coin and your palm have turned over, but in fact only your palm has turned over, and the coin remains on heads. Show the audience the coin. This is where they get stunned.

A coin with two identical sides?!! Only YOU can do this!!!

Sticky coin

The magician asks absolutely any spectator for a coin, accepts it and places it in his palm. Then he turns his hand over and... a miracle happens: the coin stuck to his palm!

The secret of the trick: First you wet your hands, then the spectator gives you a coin and you press the coin on your wet hand. A vacuum forms there, you turn your hand over, and the coin remains on your hand!

The magic secret is to make money out of water

Turning coffee into coins

David Blaine turned a cup of coffee into a cup full of coins on his TV show. It turns out that this is very easy to repeat!

Secret trick: You will need a cardboard coffee cup, preferably with a pattern. Using a modeling knife or scissors, carefully cut off the bottom of the cup. Insert the upper part into the lower part with a slight screwing motion. Fill the cup three-quarters full with coins.

Tamp down the coins (you need to shake them a little in the cup) and pour in a little cold coffee so that it covers the coins. Coffee works best because it is dark enough to hide the coins. Now we have a regular cup of coffee that we can show off to the audience.

Hold the cup by the top and pull out the bottom slightly. Then shake. The coffee will spill down and the coins will appear. This trick can be done with any cardboard cup from the machine. Do not use hot coffee!

And the coin is intact!

The secret of the trick: Take two corks and poke five holes into them in this way: four holes around and a fifth in the middle.

Take five knitting needles and one coin (the coin should be five or ten kopecks). Place a coin in one cork and cover it with the other cork. Start piercing the knitting needles in a circle. When you pierce the last knitting needle in a circle, the coin becomes an edge. And the middle can be easily pierced. When you remove the spokes and the top plug, the coin will have no holes.

lungs

Coin tricks can be performed anywhere. This trick can be performed among friends or for a very small audience.

Take a fifteen-kopeck coin out of your pocket and place it on the back of the outstretched fingers of your right hand. The audience's attention naturally focuses on this coin - they are interested in finding out what will happen to it. And then, in front of the spectators, the coin crawled along his hand, as if it were a living creature.

When the coin approaches the edge of your thumb, you place your left hand towards this hand, holding it in the same position, and the coin obediently passes to your left hand, continuing its movement. The audience is at a loss - how could you make the coin move along your hand?

The secret and props of this trick are incredibly simple. The props consist of a fifteen-kopeck coin and a nylon thread 25-30 cm long (the thread can be pulled from a nylon stocking that has become unusable).

Nylon thread is extremely thin and completely invisible on the human body. You use this quality of nylon thread.

The secret of the trick lies in this thread. You attach one end of the thread to the left side of the jacket lapel just below the middle.

Then you take a tiny piece of plasticine and roll it into a tiny ball. This ball is attached to the second, free end of the nylon thread. The end of the thread with the ball should be at the level of the jacket loop, where the lapel ends.

Now you can start demonstrating the trick. With your right hand you take a coin out of your pocket, and with your left you feel for the ball at the end of the thread. The moment you are about to place the coin on your hand, quickly and carefully stick this ball to the coin. Then place the coin on the back of the outstretched fingers of your right hand so that the ball is at the bottom, under the coin.

Thus, the coin appears attached to a thread invisible to the viewer.

Having placed the coin on your hand, you carefully begin to move this hand forward, and the coin attached to the thread remains in place. This gives the viewer the impression that the coin is moving. As soon as the coin is on the edge of your thumb, place the edges of the fingers of your left hand towards your right hand, carefully moving the moving coin onto it. Alternately transfer the coin to one hand or the other.

While the coin is moving along one hand, you hold the other over it, pretending that this hand has a magical effect. In reality, the function of the free hand is to hide from the audience the thread that can be seen against the background of the jacket.

To prevent the audience from suspecting that the coin is secret, you can repeat this trick by taking the coin from one of the spectators. After demonstrating the trick, you will give it to the audience for inspection, discreetly peeling the coin from the plasticine with a thread.

Five plus five is not always ten

Tell the audience a few words about the accuracy of arithmetic and add that in illusionism it has become subject to errors. Ask the audience:

- What is five plus five?
They will answer:
- Ten.

- Okay, tell the audience, now we will check it. Take 10 coins and a tobacco pouch from the table. Submit all this for inspection. Ask two spectators to help you. Give one 10 coins and the other a pouch. Taking a small tray from the table, ask to place five coins on it, counting one at a time. The spectator puts it down and counts out loud. Ask another spectator to open the pouch. Ask:

— How many coins are on the tray?
- Five.

Pour them into a pouch:

- Okay, five.
Ask to tighten the pouch and hold it by the laces.
— How many coins are in the pouch? Five? Great! Place the remaining five coins on my tray. Count. The spectator counts the coins out loud and places them. Offer to open the pouch and pour the remaining five coins into it from the tray. The pouch closes.

- You put in five, then another five coins. Five plus five. How much will?
- Ten.
- Ten? Let's check it now.
Holding the tray with both hands, ask the spectator to take one coin out of the pouch and, counting out loud, place them on the tray. The spectator counts, but there are not 10 coins, but 18.

- You see what magic arithmetic is. It turns out that five plus five is not ten, but eighteen.

The secret of the trick is in the tray, which has a double bottom and is painted with oil paints: the design is chosen so as to well mask the holes for the coins to come out.

Between the real and false bottoms, sides are soldered a little higher than the thickness of the coin and a little wider so that the coins can easily enter and move along this path. There is a hole on each side of the tray through which coins are “charged” into the tray. When demonstrating, the tray should be held by the short sides so that spectators do not discover the hole.

You need to pour coins from the tray with a sharp movement so that the coins from the entrance spill into the pouch at the same time as the coins on the tray.

Glass goblet with lid

This contraption consists of a fairly large glass goblet and a painted tin lid, shaped like the lid of a coffee pot, but of such size that it can hold two coins in a standing position.

They are placed side by side in a flat tube, wide enough to contain them, attached in a slightly inclined position to the top of the lid and divided into two parts by a tin partition.

A fixed metal ring is attached to the lower end of the tube, which closes with a spring and moves back if you press the button on the lid.

If you press it lightly, only one coin will be released, but if you press it harder, the second coin will also fall out. The lid mechanism is hidden by a flat bottom made of tin, with an oblong hole just wide enough to admit coins.

You take care not to show the cup and lid until you have taken possession of the two coins you borrowed for the trick. When you go to get the cup and lid, you prepare the latter by putting in the borrowed coins.

You do this by holding the lid upside down, pressing the button and moving the movable ring away: the coins drop inside. When you stop pressing the button, the movable ring returns to its normal position.

Then you expose the cup and lid and place them on the table. Holding the cup upside down to show that it is empty, you cover it with a lid, as if to prevent anything secretly being thrown into it, and, for still greater security, you throw a handkerchief used for this purpose over the whole thing. .

You now announce that, in spite of all the difficulties to which you have been subjected, you will pass both coins through the handkerchief and through the metal lid in the cup.

Taking in your right hand one of the substitute coins that remained in plain sight and which the spectators mistook for real ones, you pretend to transfer it using the first technique to your left hand, and, quietly pressing the button with the above-mentioned hand, force one of the coins fall from the lid, while simultaneously opening your hand to show that the coin has disappeared from it.

The audience hears but does not see the coin fall. For the second coin, it's better to introduce an element of variety, and so you might suggest ditching the scarf so everyone can see what's going on with the coin.

For further variety, you can use your wand as a guide. Taking the replacement coin in your left hand, you pretend that you are transferring it in the fourth move to your right hand.

Then, taking the wand in your left hand, you hold it perpendicularly, so that its lower end rests on the button of the lid. Holding it between the thumb and second fingers of your right hand, you quickly move them down, while at the same time pressing the button with the rod, then the second coin will fall into the goblet, which will be heard.

By removing the lid and leaving it on the table, you show the cup and allow the spectators to take the coins from it themselves and make sure.

It is very good to have a second lid, exactly the same in appearance, but simple, without any mechanism. Then you can have both the cup and the lid examined before the trick begins.

Returning to your table and turning your back to the audience, you have every opportunity to replace the simple lid with a mechanical one, dropping the first one into one of your hidden pockets.

Hold the glass in your hand, cover it with a handkerchief, then remove the handkerchief. Invite any spectator to look into the glass from above, and he will see that a coin has appeared in the glass.

The secret of focus.

The coin must be glued to the bottom of the glass in advance. It can be seen through its walls when the glass is empty. When it is filled with water, the coin is not visible through the water if you look from the side of the glass. It is only visible from above.

Coin and talking bottle trick

You will need: an empty 2-liter plastic bottle, a coin with a diameter the size of the neck of the bottle.

Place an empty plastic bottle in the freezer. After 5 minutes, take it out and close the neck of the bottle with a coin, after moistening the coin with water. The coin will bounce and crackle, as if the bottle is talking.

Unusual coin

You will need: a coin, a scarf measuring 30 x 30 cm, an assistant.

Place the coin on the table, cover it with a scarf, invite the audience to come up and check that the coin should be under the scarf. When several spectators are convinced of this, take the handkerchief, move it from hand to hand and show everyone that the coin has disappeared. Say that it is now in the pocket of one of the spectators. Approach him and take a coin out of his pocket.

The secret of focus.

The secret of this trick is simple: you need to have an assistant partner. He must sit among the spectators. When they come up to make sure that the coin is under the scarf, he should come last and take it with him quietly.

Trick with a coin and a handkerchief.

You will need: a coin, a scarf measuring 30-30 cm, an elastic band.

How to make a magic scarf.

To do this, sew two identical scarves together, sew a coin inside and into the center of them. Coin in a scarf

Ask the audience for a few coins and choose one from the handful. Take a handkerchief out of your pocket, spread it out and place a coin in its center. Turn the scarf over, the coin remains under it. Take the rubber band out of your pocket and put it on the scarf, squeezing it under the coin. Invite the viewer to place his palm and, stretching the scarf by the corners, make sure that the elastic band comes off the coin. But the viewer's palm will remain empty - the coin did not fall into it. You need to pretend that you are taking it, for example, from a table or cabinet, where it seemed to be during the trick.

The secret of focus.

When, during a trick, you take a coin from a spectator and turn the handkerchief over, his coin imperceptibly falls into your hand. A specially sewn coin remains in the scarf, and an elastic ring is put on it. You discreetly hold the spectator's coin in your fingers during the trick and then demonstrate it.
