Mad dave vs zombies. Dossier "Mad Dave Play the game Mad Dave vs Zombies

Crazy Dave vs Zombies or Crazy Dave vs Zombies, this game from the creators of PopCap Games! Although it looks simple, it is still very interesting! In this game, everything is quite simple and interesting! The bottom line is that you need to score the maximum number of points in this game.

The game looks quite colorful and elegant (despite its plot). There are various bonuses in the form of suns (adds speed) and other things.

The controls are simple: all you need to do is run back and forth, while pressing only two keys ← and →; and of course this is not all, in order to protect yourself from zombies you need to throw all sorts of things (such as a pumpkin or a stone, well, I don't know how to call them correctly, in short, they are from the game Plantation against Zombies), but if you are pinned down then you must press the Z button and the jump will be performed!)

Investigator Brian O'Sullivan's comment:

The case of Mr. Dave, or as we also call it, "The Case of Mad Dave" attracted me long before all this mess with dead Americans and problems with necro-political correctness began. I actually got interested in Dave's story when I was still in college. The case was very interesting, and the result of his research was amazing.

Of course, Dave's name was not indicated in any military chronicle, not a single official document was found, but because of the Incident (hereinafter "flash") information poured like a cornucopia. So we were told in college about the mysterious experiments of the military in the field of biology, cybernetics and robotics. It all sounded like a novel by H.G. Wells and was perceived by me with a smile.

However, then there was a "flash" and everyone was not at all funny. Hundreds of people died until the hitherto classified results of the experiments of one brilliant scientist fell into the hands of ordinary Americans. Those, in turn, found this weapon the proper use, and turned out to be much more effective than the entire American army and the National Guard.

But all this happened because one person was genius enough to fight something that should not have existed, and was so mad as not to give up even in peacetime, continuing to create the most incredible and most natural weapons of people.

Therefore, for the last five years I have spent collecting materials, biographical summaries, interviews with people who knew him until he disappeared, creating a single dossier on him. Below is a selection of the most significant interviews.

19-06-2010

General Mark Gammilton.

Dave's story began before the Vietnam War, but it was during this period that his name became debated and famous. This was facilitated by General Gammilton, who, even after the end of the war, promoted Dave's ideas into military structures.

The general has long been retired, but when I see him, it never occurs to me why he is sitting alone in his house, and not sending troops into battle. Two meters tall, wide in the shoulders and with an unbending back, in his years he looks younger and healthier than many of my peers. The general meets me and leads me to his office. On the walls there are photographs from different years, several donated sabers and a large American propaganda poster.

Tell us how you met Dave.

Frankly, I was not familiar with him. The first time I found out about him was when several lieutenants vied with each other to talk about a laboratory assistant who had found a way to neutralize enemy stretch marks at a distance, without detonating a charge. This not only saved many boys' lives, but also allowed us to bypass enemies from the rear.

Then I had to come and present the eggheads with their well-deserved awards, once again convinced that science moves forward only during the war. Remember at least atomic bombs!

I go there, and the technicians give me an excursion. The guys showed me a lot, some of it is no longer given to me to understand. As well as their "experiments", which I could not comprehend in any life.

And yet, what was Dave like?

Yes, the most seemingly ordinary youth. Of those who have no place in the war, but in the rear capable of turning the tide of any battle. The guy had a wide face, round eyes, but he was too thin and too weak to even sit in a trench, let alone dig him or walk through the Vietnamese jungle. But against the background of his other colleagues, he stood out only for his small age.

He was only 16 then, but do not think that he was drafted to war. In fact, we appreciated his intelligence and sent him straight to our closed program. Do you know what the first thing he did there? He came up with the idea of lubricating the blades of soldiers' machetes with a mixture of kerosene and detergent. A chemical reaction caused any plant in this jungle to dry out in seconds. It became much easier for the soldiers to pass through the thickets, but they did not help much against the Vietnamese sitting in the bushes.

Right now it seems to me that if Dave had appeared with us earlier, if he had started his research earlier, we would have won in Vietnam, and the next war ... "flash" ... would have met fully armed. But what is there to grieve, what happened is gone.

And what was so remarkable about him?

Remarkable ... Remarkable was the fact that he brought everything to the end. A rare quality, we would only like to learn from it. It's a shame it ended this way. If it were not for secrecy, the guy would have become a national hero, and I would have been the first who threw himself on his monument.

Professor David Libbesman, military developer

technology of the period of the vietnamese war

Libessman now lives with his family in California. After the "outbreak", he decided to stay in a more favorable climate and closer to the coast. His house is located far from the city and city cemeteries. At the time of the Incident, he was working as a consultant on unusual combat methods against an equally unusual enemy. This happened due to the fact that during the Vietnam War he was Dave's direct superior in the laboratory and later supervised all of his developments. It was Libessman who witnessed Dave's first military experiment.

The professor is not very happy to see me and does not let me into the house. Instead, we meet him on the front porch lawn and sit opposite each other on folding chairs. The sun is hot here.

Dave burst into our lives just when our ideas were already coming to an end. It all started with the development of weapons, and we did our best to create exactly the big guns. But what is a rifle without a shooter? In the jungle, power didn't matter much, especially if the recruits' hands were shaking. Then we secretly began to improve the soldiers. You know, combat stimulants, reflex enhancers, emotion neurotransmitters. It turned out badly, because, you understand, not a lot of experimental subjects were brought to us. As a result, we also abandoned this idea. The staff members really wanted to cover us completely, but only we were already soldering robots with might and main, which did not need to be improved, and on which inhuman experiments were not necessary.

The robots were much more expensive than the pills for the soldiers, but at least they stopped looking at us askance. And then Dave appeared, a young, green brilliant university graduate. Think, 16 years old, and already graduating from the Massachusetts University of Technology with honors. At first I was very skeptical of him. And I'm not alone. However, Dave had a completely unconventional and unclouded view of things. His ideas were crazy in themselves, but exactly until you yourself began to think about his ideas.

So Dave came, looked askance at the robot that we were collecting, twisted his finger at his temple and said: “Why build a weapon against the jungle, when the jungle can be turned into a weapon?”. At first we did not understand anything, and in response to the question, they say, if he has a bioweapon, Dave replied that yes and no at the same time.

See for yourself - the Vietnamese sit under every bush and shoot at the boys who were not ready for such a war. And Dave offered to give conditional rifles to everything that grew: these very bushes, vines, algae and other vegetation. Crazy, huh? We also decided that, and someone even reported to the head of the base that Dave was distracting us from serious work with his ridiculous theories. But when the authorities deigned to appear with a check, ours no longer doubted the genius of the young man.

Dave took a small piece of liana and started experimenting with it as a living person. According to his theory, any living organism can be made to work for itself, even if these are cancer cells. To do this, it was enough to send neurons, or, as in the case of plants, exclusively biological neurons, with information on the stem, and the body began to develop its own brain through a set of cells. Quite simple and very conventional, but still a brain.

The very first experiment ended in success: the plant began to respond to the approach of a person, they are drawn to him, and not slowly, but quickly, as if a muscular system appeared after the brain.

But the experiment was successful, wasn't it?

Certainly, but at that time it was absolutely useless. The war ended six months later with the defeat of our soldiers, and we did not manage to raise a single "fighter". After that, the need for both our laboratory and Dave in particular disappeared. What happened to him further I do not know.

However, I am glad that he did not give up and continued his experiments. They saved us and everyone.

Harry Mitchell, salesman at Sell'n supermarket

Harry and Dave became friends at school, but Dave's intellect tore them apart. Dave quickly graduated from high school, an external university, and therefore he rarely saw Harry, only when he returned to his hometown to visit his parents. However, after the war, Dave practically did not leave his parent's nest, and therefore restored friendship with Harry.

During the outbreak, Mr. Mitchell lost almost everything: his house, car, job and his entire family. Now he is forced to rent not the best housing and work where there is simply a place. So we meet him during his lunch break in the supermarket parking lot.

When Dave returned from the war, what was he like?

What do you think? No, I know that anything can happen in war, they shoot, they kill, but Dave is not like that, he is a laboratory rat, a genius, an experimenter. He did not shoot at anyone there, he did not dig trenches. But he returned exactly the same as all the guys who almost never fought. God had mercy on me, flat feet and eyesight at "-10", stayed at home, guard my homeland. But those who returned ... I, in general, was damn glad that I did not participate in any war. Not patriotic, I know, then the war itself found me, and it was not sugar either.

As for Dave, he came back healthy, but damn depressed. Someone was sad from the death of comrades and the chaos of Vietnam, and Dave because he could not finish a single scientific experiment of his. Do you understand? He would have gladly shot someone in this war, and then he would have worried less. He was all like that. The craving for knowledge outweighed all moral standards for him. When we got together on Sundays for our traditional Mexican evening, he liked to say something like: “Human life is nothing within humanity. Only science means anything ”. If we forget that a murdered person can be someone’s son or daughter, someone’s sister or brother, someone’s father, grandmother or friend of virginity, then his statement makes sense. People come and go, but only our knowledge of this world saved us all this time. If in the Middle Ages doctors had not opened corpses, then medicine would never have learned to cure diseases.

And so, when Dave was ready to make a discovery that would turn science upside down, he was simply kicked out. Like, the war is over, put your gun on the shelf, and everything that you invented we will take from you, because it belongs to us, and we will burn it so that no one will ever know about it.

Dave started drinking, walking around not very decent places. There are not many drinking establishments in our city, and Dave chose the most dubious of them. He did not try to look for answers there, he tried to drown out the melancholy. Somewhere there he met Zingi. I don't know what the real name of this man is, but he gave Dave what he was lacking.

Zinghi brewed methampitamin, and the whole city knew it. But it was not the drugs that interested Dave, but the equipment that Zinga had. Dave had some savings and bought almost everything he had. When he began to install a drug making machine in the backyard of his parents' house, the neighbors tensed in earnest. Dave had serious problems with the authorities, but the mere availability of equipment did not give them the opportunity to attract Dave under any of the articles. He was a scientist, scientists are supposed to have equipment. Dave spent six months collecting all the necessary documents so that he was allowed to experiment on his land.

A month later, he had a very strange garden of strange plants in his backyard, with which he began to talk ...

Malcolm "Zinghi" Black, prisoner.

Zingy has long been Dave's "buddy" as well as his supplier. Finding this person was not easy. Zinghi never worked anywhere, he often changed his place of residence, mostly moving from one friend to another, and later from one police station to the next.

Our meeting with him took place when he had already been imprisoned for the distribution of drugs and the subsequent dialogue was conducted in the meeting room of one of the Californian prison blocks.

No, well, what about? He immediately seemed to me an intelligent guy. Dave, huh? Never bothered about his name. This broth was used in chemistry, in test tubes and in distillation, although it seems that he himself never boiled or bargained. It's a pity, what a talent was wasted! Well, in short, he is sitting in a bar, I see, the guy is brainy, word for word, he even explained to me in a drink how to simplify the cooking process. For this I threw off his old unnecessary equipment. Well, not for free, of course.

I even then asked, what the fuck is it to him if he won't cook? You collect a time machine, gee-gee ... He also laughed, said that in order to assemble a time machine, you need only two conditions: you need to have sufficient incentive in order to want to go to the past, and be crazy enough to develop a mechanism for spatial temporary displacement. We agreed that the nutcase would be the first to travel in time, that he would want to have another morning breakfast, which was very tasty.

And what happened next?

And then he began to call me as a specialist ... well, in general, as a specialist in what is so easy to get, you know? More often than not, he needed some kind of rare herb, but not the kind that people smoke, but even rarer and even more illegal. Any exotic. Sometimes leaves, sometimes even cuttings. What he did there at home - I have no idea. For some reason I don't even want to know. I will find out that they will also give a term from above. Do I need it?

He's there, this guy, apparently, invented some kind of nonsense, otherwise what for all this he needed? And, probably, I did all the experiments on myself. You know, right? Then he completely went crazy, began to rush at people, even forgot how to talk. They took him to the Durka. But I had nothing to do with it, at that moment I was already sitting here, warming my bunks.

And what kind of plants did he want?

I won't say the names, I didn't even remember that. The most commonplace was what kind of vine that cannot be imported into our country. And he needed fresh, just grown. And a pot to her. Yes, and it's strange, it doesn't grow from a pot, does it? In short, he seems to have already been a turned nerd, And I have no idea what he was doing with all that I brought him. Moreover, I have already served for this.

Montgomery Jefferson,

Head of the Department of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins Hospital

(Baltimore, Maryland)

For several years, Dave continued to experiment to create obedient plants, but drinking and depression left a terrible imprint on his mind. The logical conclusion was that Dave was admitted to a hospital with a diagnosis of schizophrenia, until one day he escaped from there.

We met with the head of the psychiatric ward, where Dave was taken, in Mr. Jefferson's spacious office. At the mention of this patient, the doctor's gaze becomes sad and the inspiration in his voice becomes less.

Of course I remember how he got to us. He has been one of the most interesting patients in my practice over the past ten years. The easiest way to send our students was to immediately send them to him and let them go home, since it was possible to write a diploma on any mental disorder according to his medical record.

Panic disorder, personality disorder, insomnia, schizophrenia ... these are only the first twenty pages. At the same time, witnesses claim that he received this entire set in just three years of work at home. He was collecting something in his laboratory before he came to us. Neighbors complained that during the experiments he began to talk loudly and rudely to himself, and he attacked the police officers who had arrived with his fists.

The reasons can be completely different. Here, the post-war stress was superimposed, and his obsession with work, failures in family life and the inability to realize himself. You understand, the brain works a little differently for all geniuses, and there was no doubt about Dave's genius. Even with the whole spectrum of mental illness, he managed to tinker and repair. He could not speak, but he remained as brilliant as before.

And that's why he ran away?

And so he ran away. The doctors had a very hard time when they learned that the patient is many times smarter than them and knows much more about the life and structure of people and their brains than the teachers of colleges and universities put into their heads. Therefore, he was not treated. Modern psychiatry could work wonders for almost any mental disorder, but only if the patient himself did not know these methods.

Dave knew and did not respond to treatment. His illnesses progressed from day to day, and he himself ceased to resemble even a man. Eyes sunken, wild temper forced him to constantly keep him on sedatives, and lock him up at night in an isolation ward so that his screams would not frighten other patients.

But how did he escape then?

Nobody knows. It's just that one day we opened the isolation ward and found the straitjacket he was wearing last night on the floor. We called Dave "Houdini", but I doubt that Houdini would have been able to get out of the "soft" room by closing the door behind him with a key that he did not have, and bypassing all the CCTV cameras calmly get out of the guarded medical institution so that he nobody noticed. The orderlies and guards were reprimanded, but what was the use? We immediately reported to the police, and the cops showed up at Dave's house. His equipment remained in place, but all the products of his experiments and his parents' old car were missing.

Dave simply disappeared into the night, as if he was not there. But a person with such mental problems is usually much easier to find, but he turned out to be more cunning and more adequate than many normal people. However, I did not expect anything else from such an outstanding patient. However, I hope that someday he will come back to us, and we can still help him.

Mark Rogers, expert on dead Americans.

Mark was not a soldier or a scientist, but for the entire period of the "outbreak" he remained in the spotlight and literally did not leave the barricades. He not only supplied the military with new and new information about the enemy, but also plunged deeper, looking for the cause of the "outbreak" in science and history. Until now, many secrets about the living dead remain secrets, but thanks to Mark Rogers, they are becoming less and less every day.

After the "outbreak" and overcoming the crisis, Mark received a solid grant from international organizations, opened his office in central London, gathered a team of like-minded people and is now professionally engaged in his favorite business - the study of the "undead".

Where did you meet the "flash"?

Like many - at home. It was a carefree time, if you think so. We were only playing zombie video games back then, and their actual appearance on the streets was kind of cheap fiction. But now it doesn't seem like something unreal or fantastic. The people were seized by panic, someone rushed away from the city, not immediately realizing that there are much more graves outside the city, and there are also a lot of relatively fresh dead there. People fled, the soldiers fired, the children were happy that they no longer had to go to school. Yes, only humanity would lose this war. Bullets did nothing to dead flesh. These are not Romero's films for you, in these dead men only the eyes were "fresh", and the rest of the body was dead and rotten. Shoot them even with a cannon - only the shells will be wasted.

Not everyone immediately realized that the rules of war that Dave had invented in Vietnam would work even now, in the conditions of the city and against the war with the dead Americans. In order to understand this, it took a catastrophically long time and human lives. He, I will remind you, proposed an organic, partially sentient weapon. Killer plants that would use the structure of their altered organism to resist enemies.

And it worked. Yes, no one believed it, but it worked. An organic weapon is not a bullet that just gets stuck in a dead body. Here there was an almost philosophical war of life from death, intelligent plants against dead flesh. One small planted garden could hold off attacks from entire cemeteries for years.

Tell us more about the beginning of the "outbreak".

On one average lousy day, the cemeteries one after another began to "come to life", plucking out of themselves hundreds and thousands of corpses not yet completely decomposed. The dead had one goal - to put on the attributes of their past profession, as if it gave them a new life, and feast on the brains of the living. Is it trite? Half of them didn't even have teeth, but that didn't stop them. They just walked and dressed and killed.

And then a rumor reaches the retreating from one small town of the National Guard that the dead are getting smaller. They sent scouts and they noticed a huge pile of corpses next to one of the unremarkable houses next to the cemetery. It was then that the military saw the truth: giant peas, corn, cabbage and much more, mercilessly dealt with the walking dead. When the attack of the dead drowned, the soldiers found Dave's car, which was there nearby. Dave himself wasn't there, and I doubt we'll ever be able to find him, but this car had the seeds of fast growing tame plants he created. It saved us, and it will save us more than once.

I heard that you say that this "plowing" is far from the first?

And this is a fact. Only now have I got access to the archives of the national library. Of course, it was difficult to get even a gram of useful information from under all this husk, old grandma's tales and stories of drunken sailors, but we did it. "Outbreaks" occur approximately once every 200-300 years. The first recorded "outbreak" occurred in the 6th century BC on the territory of Egypt. The latter was somewhere in the 17th century on the islands of the Caribbean.

From this we can conclude that these are not biological weapons at all, not radiation and not world conspiracies. I will not talk about any biblical motives in this story, but this cannot yet be scientifically substantiated. Perhaps nature itself is trying to get rid of us with our own hands, reviving the dead.

And how did humanity cope with "outbreaks" before?

Two factors were decisive here. First: after all, the human world was much smaller and the population density was not too high. Nomads changed their habitat, and in big cities they simply burned corpses, and sometimes with houses.

And I'm not even talking about leper colony now. If there was a possibility that the body could come to life in an unnatural way, then the dead man could be considered damned and "eliminate" not only him, but also his family. So, just in case. You know, in the Bible, Jesus practiced reviving the dead, and this was allowed for him, and when the dead stood up by themselves, the people instantly forgot about the miracles of the Lord, and took up the torches.

What's the second factor?

This is what my team and I are working on now. The fact is that quite recently we found evidence of the appearance of a strange bearded type just before the "outbreaks". He distributed seeds to people and spoke in a strange language, shouted a lot. Those who planted seeds near the house fled from the living corpses. Sound familiar, right? If the existence of a time machine could be proved, I would think that our valiant Dave moves through time and space, saving humanity at any point in history. But this is also a fantasy ... However, the same fantasy, like the living dead ... It is both pleasing and frightening.

The name is unknown. Occupation unknown

I want to immediately apologize to my readers for losing the name of the next interviewee while compiling this dossier. But it doesn't matter, you can always call him John, or Sam, or any other name, because anyone could have been in his place. Even you. So put your name in here and you most likely can't go wrong.

It was he who was the owner of the house that first fought back the dead Americans and started the fight against them by growing obedient plants. And we met just on the threshold of that famous building. A lawn, a small pool, a roof that has not yet been fully restored, but now says little about the battle that took place here. It is more and more difficult to believe in this every day.

I can say two things about Dave: he is very strange and he is very greedy. For every set of gardening tools, for every pot or seedling, he asked me a lot of cash. Moreover, he even spoke with difficulty.

What did your first meeting look like?

Well, I saw through the window that across the road, from the local cemetery (and I did not know about the cemetery when I bought this damn house) there are the undead walking. Banners "Your brains are in good hands!" also included, but of course! And then, blocking their path, a gray car, all rusty through and through, stops. From there, hoisting either a ladle or a saucepan on his head, Dave runs out and rushes towards me with a bunch of giant peas. The peas had eyes. I was so shocked by all these events that I didn't mind when Dave started planting peas on my site.

And then the peas started shooting at the dead. Well, I thought I was going crazy, but for some reason it was impossible to go crazy next to the really crazy Dave. Near him, anything starts to look normal. Even a fighting giant pea with eyes. Even a battle sentient pea, shooting at the walking dead.

Then we began to unload his car and Dave, using a meager set of words, started selling these things to me and explaining what they are for. This, as I understand it, he created and raised everything himself. On the surface, it’s over, this could not be said, he looked more like a crazy bum with a dirty shirt than a botanical scientist.

But it didn't matter. Plants grew quickly and almost immediately entered the battle, and nothing else was required for survival. And they obeyed my commands, especially when I started growing them myself. And that was also much more important than Dave's appearance.

And what happened to him?

Dave is missing. Before the giant robot attacked my house, Dave was grabbed by the dead and I never saw him again. I don't think he survived, but ... who knows? This guy came up with killer plants that stopped the apocalypse and helped to cope with the giant robo-zombie (I love Rob Zombie, but he has nothing to do with it), so he could easily get out.

Well ... well ... he was very weird ... crazy ... broke me $ 20,000 and disappeared. But I'm still grateful to him. He saved my life. For this, he can be forgiven for everything. Absolutely.

Arthur Tees, science fiction writer

Arthur asked not to disclose his real name, so as not to reveal his sources. Unlike my other contacts, he contacted me himself, barely learning about my investigation. We met in an inexpensive cafe in Jersey, where there were enough people in the morning for the writer to be able to speak calmly without fear of extra ears.

There is no need to look for the cause of the zombie apocalypse, we have it all. Have you met Rogers yet? Well, forget all the nonsense that he says. He simply does not have enough brains to imagine the whole "plot" as a whole. Do you already know that a giant robot was also found near the house where Dave's magic car was found? The government, of course, classified everything, but just what can they be against globalization? The information leaked to the network, and independent experts made the appropriate conclusions. "Zombot" - that's how they called it this robot. The weapon is not so much mobile, not so much deadly as technologically advanced. The zombot was almost completely destroyed by Dave's plants, but even what I dug up will make your hair move.

A zombot is also a zombie, only made of steel and made artificially by a certain Doctor Zomboss. It was not I who gave him such a ridiculous name, but the Internet. Zomboss ... yes. There was a certain mad scientist who invented various dangerous and deadly things, experimented with robotics, with anatomy, with space and time. In general, there was a creepy guy next to whom Frankenstein would seem like a bad student from medical school.

So, in the Zombot, witnesses found a laboratory where the doctor created zombie mutants and revived corpses. Yes, everything is so simple, he took and created an invincible army. He revived ordinary zombies en masse, through the beam cannons built into the Zombot. That is why the cemeteries did not rise all at once, but one after the other, following the route of the piece of iron. The doctor himself did not control it remotely, he sat directly inside the robot and was in the thick of the whole process, periodically going down to the internal laboratory to conduct some other creepy experiment.

That man, Dave, without expecting it, stopped the potential death of humanity. Who knows what the zombies would mutate into in a few days?

If the flash is the work of some crazy genius, how do you explain the past zombie attacks that Mark Rogers talks about?

And everything is the same. Zomboss's body was not found in the robot, just a few minutes before the military arrived to take the robot away for research, its "pilot" simply evaporated. I have a crazy theory about this.

Look, in that robot there was not only a laboratory, not only beam weapons, but also at least cannons that shoot napalm and liquid nitrogen. There was also a cannon that could restore zombie tissue, restore their sight and partially restore hair, even if nothing was left on them except skin and bones. There was also a cannon, and this is an established fact, which could break atomic bonds in matter. Annihilator. Why the doctor did not use it is a mystery to me personally. But that robot had technologies to which humanity had not yet matured.

I think that Zomboss himself came to us from the future, where humanity has learned to manage organics. It's just that a mad scientist, eager to kill, began to steer the time machine. After his plan in our time failed, he recovered even further along the path of time, in the hope of finding himself in that period of history and in that point on the planet where no one can resist him.

So what happened?

Since we are sitting with you today and drinking coffee in this wonderful cafe, I think that he never found the right time. Probably, where the dead crawl out of their graves, there is always a hero who can drive them back. At least this crazy Dave of yours. Why not? Maybe now he plows the expanses of time and space and fights for humanity. Or maybe he has nothing to do with it at all, and now he eats tacos somewhere in Mexico City and yells in a mad voice at passers-by.

Investigator Brian O'Sullivan's report:

You have read the summary of events and the most important parts of my investigation. I'm still looking for Crazy Dave. I am often asked "why", I am often asked "why", and I always give one answer. Because humanity must learn about him and what he did. If not for him, then we would not be here now, we would be walking cold corpses through the streets in search of warm flesh that could be devoured. And even if our hero is not entirely normal, there were many such among the great people.

However, I am not alone in this desire to reveal the truth. Those who have learned Dave's story support me in my endeavor and try to convey it to the masses as best they can. Some even dress up like Dave during the "flash" as a sign of solidarity, and thus draw attention to this person. Maybe Dave will see it come back someday. We all want this. But if now he is somewhere else saving the world, well, in that case, his personal presence is not necessary, and I will limit myself only to a story about him.

This man was and will be the one whom mankind can be proud of. His ideas, insane as they were, saved lives, first during the Vietnam War, and then during the "outbreak." We need such people so that humanity has faith in tomorrow.
