Warlock quests for pet alliance. Demons for the warlock. Demon quests. Creating a Summon Scroll

Warlocks are magicians who are deep into the study of demonic magic. Playing a Warlock is quite difficult, but I will try to explain in more detail all its advantages and disadvantages, so that it will be easier for novice Warlocks to learn about this rather unusual class.

So, the advantages of Warlocks (I note that there are more advantages than disadvantages :)

  • The most important advantage of a Warlock is the summoning of so-called minions; according to the standard, all Warlocks must have at least 4 minions: Summon Imp, Summon Abyss Demon, Summon Fel Hunter, Summon Succubus (I will talk more about minions in the next article)

    • A Warlock can create a Health Stone, it can be transferred to other characters, but if you are in a group of more than 2 people, then you can do a Ritual of Souls (in jargon - Toilet 🙂)
    • The Warlock can also create a Soul Stone (in the jargon - SS), it lasts 15 minutes, its recovery time is also 15 minutes, upon death, if you cast this spell on yourself, you can resurrect without anyone’s help.
    • A warlock can call raid members to him, the Summoning Ritual helps him with this, with the help of 2 group members he places the so-called Sumon Stone (in jargon - Telek), and then I think everyone knows what to do there.
    • A Warlock can also improve his weapon with the help of an Enchantment Stone or a Fire Stone. (Let me remind you that only 1 stone can be applied at a time)
  • The warlock also has a unique mount that only they have :) At Level 20, Summon the Horse of Fel, and, accordingly, Summon the Horse of Destruction at Level 40 of the game.

But like all classes, the Warlock also has disadvantages:

Well, I think that Warlocks don’t have any more obvious shortcomings... oh yes, I didn’t tell you what a Soul Shard is, but I’ll correct myself

So, Soul Shard - A Warlock always needs Shards to cast some spells and to summon minions (except Summon Imp). You can get a Shard in only one way, when the enemy (mob or player of the opposite faction) has little Health, you need to use the Soul Steal spell to finish off the enemy. When casting a spell, you cannot move, and the damage from it is quite small, but pay attention, you can only get a Shard by killing a mob or a player of the opposite faction with approximately the same level as you (that is, its level must be at least green), if If any of them are much lower level than yours, then you will not receive a Shard.

“Hey Big, I decided to create a Warlock, but what race should I choose? After all, a Warlock can be: Human, Dwarf, Orc, Undead, Blood Elf"
Yes, my dear friend, it’s a good question, if you play for the Alliance and love PvE, then it’s better to play as a Dwarf, because of the racial passive Inquisitive mind, but if you like to trash the horde, have fun in battlefields, or you love the Arena, then I think the Human will you like it because of the ability Every man for himself.

But if you play for the Horde, then undoubtedly take the Undead, because of the excellent racial ability Will of the Forsaken. Well, in PvE, perhaps the best option would be an Orc, due to the racial passive Authority, as well as because of the “active” Blood Fury.

Warlock Pets

So, as I already said, Warlocks have so-called Servants, which can be obtained by completing certain tasks, for each Servant they are different (I will tell you more about completing tasks in the next article). Let's start in order, we have the first Servant...

Hello everyone, over the weekend I decided to write an interesting guide on the topic of demons for Lock. This will be interesting for beginners, since not many people know where to get a fel guard. Since I myself play for Loka Demonologist, then I encounter a lot of questions about the guards. So I decided to write, so to speak, one big answer to all fans of such a class as the Warlock. And you will know which pets will be available to you and from what level of pumping. Know that everyone Pet are individual and serve different tasks and perform different functions.

It is the correct choice of pet that determines the entire outcome of the fight. Everyone uses their pet individually, but in order to achieve a certain professionalism in this, it is better to read about pets for Warlock and you will apply them perfectly in the most unexpected situations. This will sometimes help you get out of a dead end and survive in a hot fight. Take care of your pet, he will help you in the fight with the enemy and help you win.

The imp is the very first pet that is given from the first level. He looks like a green devil who sometimes tries to joke. A funny creature. His main attack will be fireballs. The imp has little health and does very little damage. This weakness will be compensated by the ability of the demon to go into the astral plane, and at this moment he is immune to damage. Pet also has the “Fire Shield” spell, which can be cast on the group or on itself. If you are dealt damage, the “Fire Shield” will also deal damage to the enemy. A cool pet for the Warlock, which will run after you from the first moments of the game.

Void Demon

In order to get the Abyss Demon, you must reach level 10. Most people call it simply: “Bruise.” This demon performs the function of a regular tank. Of course, he won’t help you in the dungeon, but leveling up Lok greatly simplifies it. He has good armor and a lot of HP. The list of his abilities includes spells aimed at increasing aggro, so when leveling up, the warlock will not be able to disrupt aggro on himself. In PvP, a bruise can also bring a lot of benefits, as it puts a “Shield” on its owner, which can absorb a lot of damage. The Abyss Demon is also able to detect druids and robbers when they are invisible.

To obtain the Demon of the Abyss you need to complete a certain chain of quests. For the scarlet ones, you can take the quest from Remen Markot in Stormwind. The Horde receives a quest depending on race: Orcs are taken from Ofek in Durotar, the rest in Undercity. Summons the Void Demon using a soul fragment.

Succubus for Lok

To get a Succubus, you need to reach level twenty. He is a demon seducer and runs around with you in revealing outfits with wings and a whip. It is designed for close combat and its main feature is the ability to control it with the Seduction spell. With the help of “Seduction” in PvP, you can perfectly control the enemy. Succubus is practically unsuitable for PvE. They can only control huge numbers of mobs running together. It is also an excellent assistant in pumping.

For the scarlet ones, the quest for the Succubus is taken from Lago Zlobnovert, which is located in Ironforge and this quest is called “Gakin’s Invitation”. For the horde, elves can take the quest from Alamm in Silvermoon, other classes take it in Orgrimmar from Gunrull.

Fel Hunter

The Warlock can get this fanged dog upon reaching level 30. In PvE, this demon is capable of dealing excellent damage, especially in the Afli spec. He is an effective opponent for casters, because he is excellent at disrupting castes and inflicting silence. The Fel Hunter is more geared towards PvP.

If you download Loka in the "Witchcraft" spec, then this pet significantly increases your damage from the existing “Bite” ability. The brutal appearance makes the enemy simply tremble in front of you, and every enemy, seeing you from afar, tries to immediately bypass you.

The Crimson pick up this quest from Lago Spitebreaker in Ironforge, and the Horde from Karedin Halgar in Orgrimmar.

Infernal

Available upon reaching level fiftieth. Infernal looks like stones that burn with green fire and are folded into a human figure. As soon as he is summoned, he seems to fall from the sky and silences all mobs or enemies near you. This helps to get out of large messes with a bunch of mobs or in BGs.

It is difficult to complete the quest for this pet alone. The quest will be given to you by Niba the Almighty, who is located in the desecrated forest. The chain itself will consist of three quests, the completion of which will force you to run around the map quite a bit. To summon the Infernal, you will need the Infernal Stone, which can be purchased at the ingredient store.

Doomguard for Warlock

You reach the sixtieth level and Dreadguard almost in your pocket. The Guardian looks like a huge orc with wings and horns. It can only be summoned by a group of five people for 15 minutes, and one of the members can lose almost all their HP. During the battle, you will not be able to summon the Doomguard. He is an excellent help in fights with bosses in instances, and after the Guardian disappears, everyone basically calls the Infernal. The Dreadguard is capable of delivering excellent DPS, just be sure to fully buff it with the raid.

This Demon can be obtained by farming elite mobs in the Blasted Lands location. Mob nickname - Terror Wanderer. The mobs themselves are healthy, so immediately take a healer or tank with you.

You can also take the quest in the Blasted Lands from Dayo the Decrepit. In order to complete this quest, you need either a tank or a healer. To summon the Dread Guardian you will need a Demonic figurine. You can easily find it in any store that sells various ingredients and necessary items.

Felguard for Lok the Demonologist

To get this pet, you need to reach level fiftieth and upgrade Locke in the Demonology spec. Because of the huge axe, everyone calls the fel guard the Woodcutter. This is the strongest demon that has enormous vitality and the ability to inflict excellent damage. In PvP, his main advantage is his dash, with which he stuns the enemy. With the help of a jerk, castes are knocked down. The second plus is good DPS. At the moment when you are controlled, your guard perfectly pours into the enemy.

In PvE Felguard excellent due to its highest damage. If he is completely buffed, then with his damage he can get into the first ranks in terms of damage. Please note that if your demon dies, your damage will immediately drop to that of a tank and you will not be able to summon a Fel Guard while in battle. To summon a Felguard, you will need a Soul Shard.

H the warlock may gain the ability to summon seven demons In addition, he has the ability " Demon Enslavement", thanks to which he can also gain control over other demons, however, for a limited time. Each of the demons serves for specific purposes. Currently ( The wrath of the Lich King, 3.3) the three main demons are directly related in PvE to the Warlock talent trees. Thus, the Imp helps increase damage to Destroyers, and the Fel Guardian is the Demonologist’s main weapon. In PvP, the Abyss Demon (the ability to see robbers and a shield) and the Succubus (control) are very popular. Find out more about how to find demons and what to do with them in this guide.

Imp

Imp

T level required: 1 .

P The first demon of the Warlock, who looks like a green devil. In my opinion, the funniest of all, he makes jokes every now and then, sometimes very much on topic. This is a ranged damage dealer whose main damage comes from fireballs. The demon has a relatively small reserve of health, but is capable of going to the Astral Realm, that is, becoming inaccessible to enemy attacks of any level and strength. While in the Astral Plane, the demon cannot attack. In addition, the demon is capable of casting the spell " Fire Shield", which will deal damage to those who attack the target under this spell with a melee attack.

P You can get a demon by learning the corresponding spell from a trainer or completing a simple quest at the first level. Until you have the Abyss Demon, I advise you to go with the Imp - it’s more fun and faster. Summoning the Imp does not require Soul Shards.

Void Demon

Bruise

T level required: 10 .

IN The second demon, often called "bruise" because of its color. An elemental-like dark blue demon tank is available from level ten. He has the ability to create a shield around the Warlock. The shield will absorb damage and disappear if the amount of damage exceeds the shield's capabilities, or after a certain time. The demon deals melee damage. Also, having a large supply of health, the bruise can create additional aggro, thereby allowing the Warlock to shoot enemies from afar. To work with him at low levels, I advise you to upgrade your First Aid skill. And finally, another ability of the bruise allows him to restore health, while simultaneously applying an effect to the group that makes it possible to see the enemy in invisibility mode. In PvP this is useful for fighting Rogues and Druids.

N You can learn how to summon the Demon of the Abyss by completing a simple quest at level 10. Alliance quest" Gakin's invitation" must be taken from Remen Markoth in Stormwind. The Horde take the quest from Ageron Kargal (Brill, Forsaken), Ofek (Durotar, Orcs), Carendin Halgar (Undercity, Blood Elves). Calling the Demon requires a Soul Shard.

Succubus

Succubus

T level required: 20 .

T the third demon, a woman in a revealing outfit with horns, a tail, a whip and wings. Deals melee damage with a whip. Just like a demon, he can hide. Has the ability " Seduction", with which she can seduce humanoids (including players... and their characters). The succubus is an excellent assistant in PvP, as well as in PvE if you can control her control ability. This requires some practice. Groups of some monsters for in the absence of a Mage with his “Transformation”, they are perfectly amenable to the “Seduction" of the Succubus. At low levels, the Succubus will help you develop your character faster, since its damage will exceed that of the Abyss Demon, and its ability to survive will be similar to that of the Imp.

P Call of the Succubus is a reward for the quest. Quest Alliance starts at Lago Zlobnovert (Ironforge), the quest is called " Gakin's invitation". Go to Gakin (Stormwind). He will send you to the Steppes, where you will meet the real Seer. Well, the Seer will send you to Ashenvale for a tree, after which you will have to return to Stormwind. Now the most important thing is to summon the succubus and defeat him. After that, turn in the quest and get the skill. Hordes There are several quests. Orcs and others take the quest from Gan'rul in Orgrimmar. Blood Elves from Alamma (Silvermoon City). Summoning a Succubus requires a Soul Shard.

Fel Hunter

Hunter

T level required: 30 .

H the fourth demon, who looks like a dog. The dog's eyes are on two antennas, and the dog's color is red. The dog deals good physical damage and works great against magicians, both monsters and players. Thanks to the skills of silencing and knocking down the cast, the dog is very effective in PvP. In PvE on some bosses her skill is also useful. At low levels, the Hunter is a great way to diversify character development, an alternative to the Succubus. From a DPS point of view, her positions are constantly changing, so you can only calculate the exact parameters yourself on a dummy or during battle. In some builds and patches, she is a convenient companion for the Sorcerer.

P You can get a Hunter in the quest " In search of Strakhad", which is given by Lago Malevolent (Alliance, Ironforge) or Gan"rul Bloody Eye and Karedin Halgar (Horde). Upon completion of the quest, you will receive not only a skill, but also a bag for Soul Shards (14 cells). Summoning a Hunter requires a Soul Shard.

Infernal

Infernal

T level required: 50 .

P The fifth demon, looks like... Infernal. Several green glowing stones arranged in the shape of a person. The Infernal falls from the sky, stunning enemies around him and assisting the Warlock for three minutes. However, if you have summoned another demon, it will disappear. Warlocks love to summon the Infernal in mass PvP, as well as before the Heroism of Shamans in boss battles. The effectiveness of summoning an Infernal depends directly on how exactly your demon should help you: with its direct damage or a buff to your damage. For example, it would be rational for a Sorcerer to summon it during combat if his main demon does little damage. At the same time, it is not recommended for the Demonologist to summon the Infernal, because his main demon will almost certainly deal more damage.

P It’s difficult to get an Infernal, but a real Warlock simply has to get all the demons, right? Well, first of all, there is a small chance that you will find a Grimoire in Blackrock Mountain with local Warlocks. The hard way is to talk to Nibi- a great warlock. Take the quest " What does Nibi want?". We talk with the Imp. The imp will send you for various essences, which will be quite difficult to obtain if you complete the quest at level 50. After this, return to the imp. He will tell you to talk to Nibi, after this conversation, kill Kroshius. Now Nibi will teach you how to summon Infernal. And he will call... no, you have to see it yourself. Summoning Infernal requires an Infernal Stone, which can be bought at the ingredient store.

Dreadguard

Dreadguard

T level required: 60 .

Sh This demon looks like a big scary orange orc with wings and horns. Moves through the air, sometimes stomping loudly. The demon can be summoned for fifteen minutes using the Ritual of Doom. To perform the Ritual, a group of five people is required, including the Warlock. After the Ritual, one group member (randomly) loses most of his health; some time ago, after the Ritual, a group member died. But this had a negative effect on the group's desire to summon the Guardian, so now everything is more humane. You can use the Guardian in completely different situations; it is worth remembering that you cannot summon him during battle. The following combination is interesting: before the start of the battle, the Warlock summons the Guardian, when he disappears, summons the Infernal, and, if necessary, after the Infernal disappears, summons the main demon. It is important to apply as many necessary buffs as possible, then the Guardian’s damage will be very high. If handled correctly, it can add +3 to DpS. In PvP, using the Guardian is difficult due to the difficulty of summoning.

P You can get a Dread Guard by learning the corresponding spell from the book: Grimoire of Perdition. The drop chance does not exceed 2%, you need to kill elite monsters, at level 60 you simply cannot do this. The elite monsters of the Blasted Lands pose a threat even to a level 80 player. It’s easier and more interesting to complete the quest. You can get it from Dayo the Decrepit, which is located in Blasted Lands. You will have to carry out several assignments: go to Winter Springs, kill several monsters there and visit the Forgotten City to search for the Blood of Satyrs. Quests at level 60 are difficult and require the presence of a good (thinking) group, preferably with a healer and a tank. The last quest in the chain, “Imprisonment,” requires special preparation. You will have to clear your way among the elite monsters and fight the most elite of them. On this Necessarily need a healer. If you are level 80 just be careful, physical. Demon damage disrupts your spells. For the Ritual of Doom, you need a Demonic figurine, sold in the reagent store, along with the Infernal Stone.

Felguard

Woodcutter

T level required: 50 .

WITH The demon, who looks like an iron woodcutter, is also called by the people, walks around with an axe. Says terrible things, looks great in company with the Dwarf Warlock. The basis of damage for the Warlock of the Demonology branch, it requires careful care: buffs, health replenishment, etc. In PvP it is interesting only because it can cause damage while the Warlock himself is taken out of battle or is far away (read: running from the Warrior). In other cases, it is preferable to use other demons. In PvE, sometimes Warlocks and Guardians reach decent places in terms of DpS, but in the event of the loss of a demon (AoE boss, change of tactics and location), the owner’s DpS drops to the level of tanks. You need an eye on him, although you can see him from afar.

P Summon of the demon is studied thanks to the talent of the Demonology branch, the talent is at the very bottom. There are no other ways to obtain this demon, unless you find one somewhere in Outland and subjugate it. To summon a Fel Guard you need a Soul Shard.

Guest 14 Nov 2013 at 07:11 pm Answer

but I don't have a task((

In it you will find out what pets are available to you, from what lvl and of course what quests you need to complete to get them.

Each of your pets is radically different from each other and they serve different tasks.

Imp

Required to receive 1st level. The imp is the very first pet with which you have the opportunity to play. Outwardly he resembles a green devil, from time to time he tries to joke, in general he is a funny pet. The imp's main attack ability is fireballs. The pet deals average damage and has a very small reserve of health, which is at least slightly compensated by the ability to go into the astral plane and becomes immune to damage. Another spell the pet has is “Fire Shield” - this is a buff that can be applied to yourself or group members. The buff causes damage if you are attacked in melee.

Void Demon

Required to receive Level 10. The people called the demon a bruise because of its color. The demon is very similar in appearance to an elemental and performs the function of a tank; of course, you won’t be able to tank with it, but it makes leveling up much easier. Has a lot of health and armor. His list of abilities includes spells to increase aggro, making it a little more difficult for the warlock to disrupt aggro. Bruise is also very useful in pvp due to the fact that he can put a shield on his owner, which will absorb all damage, and also thanks to his ability that helps to detect robbers and druids when they are in invisibility.

To learn how to summon the demon of the abyss, you need to complete a small chain of quests, which becomes available at level 10. For the alliance, the quest is only available in Stormwind from the npc Remen Markot. Horde members can take the quest in several cities depending on their race: orcs in the city of Durotar (npc Ofek), the forsaken in the city of Bril (npc Ageron Kargal), blood elves in the Undercity (npc Carendin Halgar). To summon a demon you need a Soul Shard.

Succubus

Required to receive Level 20. The third demon available, the seducer demon, wears a revealing outfit with a whip and wings. Fights exclusively in close combat. The main feature of the succubus is its controlling ability "Seduction", with the help of which, after a little practice, you can work wonders of control in pvp. In pve the pet will not be particularly useful, except for controlling large packs of mobs. Although, as soon as you get it at level 20, it will be an excellent assistant in leveling, because... His damage/survival combination is better than previous pets.

Kv to call a succubus. I won’t describe the whole chain because... there is nothing complicated there. The chain for the alliance begins at the npc Lago Zlobnoverta in the city of Ironforge, the name of the quest Gakin's Invitation. For the horde there are several quests for different races: blood elves take the quest in Moonlight from the NPC Alamma. For all other races, kV will be available from npc Gan'rul in Orgrimmar.

Fel Hunter

Required to receive Level 30. The people called the demon a dog. The demon does good damage in PVE, especially if you play in an aflic spec. Very effective against playing with casteromi, because... has the ability to nemona and knock down cast. Most often the pet is used in pvp, but in pve it is also sometimes useful. If you are in the sorcery branch, Fel Hunter will be your main pet due to the talents that increase the damage from the bite ability.

CV for a dog is available from level 30. For the alliance, the quest begins in the steelforge at the npc Lago Zlobnovert. For the horde, the npc has the CITY of Karedin Khalgar.

Infernal

Required to receive Level 50. Inveral looks like an ordinary inferal, a pile of green glowing stones. Folded in the shape of a human figure. When summoned, the inferal falls from the sky and stuns all enemies in a small radius at the point of fall. Sometimes it can be very effective to summon an inferal in large battlefield situations. If at the time of the call you had another demon summoned, then it will disappear.

Getting an inferal is very difficult and doing it at level 50 alone. CV is taken from npc Nibi the Almighty in the defiled forest (41.5 45.5). The chain consists of three quests that are not difficult to complete, but you will have to go around the entire map. To summon an infernal, you must have the Infernal Stone with you, which is sold in the ingredient store.

Dreadguard

Required to receive Level 60. The demon looks like a huge orange orc with horns and wings. To summon a demon, it is necessary to carry out a special summoning ritual, which will require five people; after completing the ritual, one of them will lose most of their health; previously, by the way, one of the group members would die. The demon is summoned for 15 minutes. Unfortunately, it will not be possible to summon a demon during the battle, so after its disappearance or death you will have to summon a new one. Sometimes it will be important to call a guard before boss fights, and when the guard disappears, call an inferal. When used correctly, the guard adds a decent amount of DPS to you, just don't forget to ask the group for buffs for your demon, because... this can greatly enhance it.

There are two ways to get a demon. The first is the farm book Grimoire of Perdition from elite mobs (Doomguard) in the Blasted Lands lvl 60, drop rate is 2%. By the way, the mobs are very healthy and you can’t handle it alone, you’ll need healing and preferably a tank. The second method is more interesting and simpler. The quest is taken from npc Dayo the Decrepit in the scorched lands (34.1 50.1). To complete the quest you will need at least a healer, and even better, a tank included in the kit, because... you will have to fight your way through crowds of elite troops. To summon a guard you will need a demonic figurine; you can buy it from the ingredient seller.

Felguard

Required to receive Level 50. The seventh demon and the last of all available, it can only be obtained by a warlock in the demonologist spec. The people called the guard the woodcutter because of his huge axe. This is a very strong demon, it has very serious damage and amazing vitality. The advantages of a woodcutter in pvp are the ability to make a dash towards a target and stun it for a short period of time, thereby disrupting the enemy’s cast, the second advantage is high DPS, the guard can do a good job of harming the enemy as long as you are under control. In PVE, the demon is good for its high damage, and if you buff it well, you can count on the first lines in the top, but if it happens that your demon dies and you cannot summon it again, your DPS will drop to the level of tanks.

You can only get a Fel Guard in the Demonologist branch. A soul fragment is required to summon.
