Map for minecraft sky block survival. Passage of the SkyBlock map in Minecraft

SkyBlock- The popular survival map has 3 very small islands in the sky: your original island, a hellish island, and a deserted island. You can download the skyblock from the links below. To survive, you will have to save every resource and apply all knowledge to get the most out of each block of useful resources, because one is not a clever movement and that's it. This map has been downloaded over 5 million times! Not so long ago, a new version of this map was released, which uses the functionality of the latest releases of the game. Therefore, Skyblock 3 is only available for Minecrft 1.10.2 and 1.11.2. And the old version still works great with absolutely any Minecraft releases.

    SkyBlock is one of the survival maps for Minecraft, where you play and build on an island in the air. The goal is to survive without cheats, expand possessions, create food. There are many variations of this map, but the original focuses on a flying island in the ice biome.

    Description and rules of the card

    At the beginning of the game, you are given the following materials:

    • 26 blocks of land;
    • 1 oak;
    • 1 chest;
    • 1 bucket of lava;
    • 1 block of ice.

    You can play SkyBlock alone or in multiplayer mode. The difficulty level is not set here, although it should not be lower than "Easy" to make it interesting and not too easy to play. The map will distract from other Minecraft worlds.

    You can go through it quickly or slowly, but you should adhere to the rules:

    1. Don't build a bridge to the mainland;
    2. Don't jump off the island;
    3. Use a difficulty level from Easy and higher;
    4. Don't use cheats.

    SkyBlock's goal is not to build a bridge to the mainland and replenish its supplies from there, although this development seems tempting. On the contrary, players must remain on the island. You can put supplies in the chest and jump off the island, however, the challenge of this card is to grow your own food to prevent hunger. In this world, it is not allowed to enable flight or spawn cheats elsewhere. Cheats make SkyBlock tasks too simple and uninteresting.

    SkyBlock map tasks

    Completing these quests does not grant any rewards other than a sense of pride. Players are not required to complete all tasks, but many of them are directly related to survival.

    47. Craft 10 Stone Pressure Plates
    48. Craft 10 Wooden Pressure Plates
    49. Collect 64 Bone Meal
    50. Craft 20 Cobble Stairs

    Each completed task leads to the beginning of another; for example, creating a cobblestone generator yields cobblestones that can be used to build a house. The tasks do not have to be completed in a specific order, but they are listed in the table in order of priority for survival. Although, you may have your own view of this order.

    1. Create a cobblestone generator

    Cobblestones are formed by the confluence of lava and water; the generator provides unlimited supply of cobblestones using these particular components. When you start playing on the SkyBlock, you will find a lava bucket and a block of ice in a chest. To create a simple cobblestone generator, follow these steps:

    • bury one block and place ice on top of it;
    • bury the two blocks to the right of the ice block;
    • place block of earth
    • bury one block and place lava on top

    After creating a generator, break the ice block. The ice will turn into water and it will fall into a hole two blocks deep next to it. The third block of land should not be the only separator between water and lava. By destroying a block of earth, you will force the water and lava to combine, creating a block of cobblestone.

    A properly crafted cobblestone generator provides an endless supply of cobblestone.

    2. Building a house

    Having made a supply of cobblestones, you can start building a house. Since the supply of cobblestones is unlimited, this is the most convenient material to use, which can later be exchanged for something more interesting.

    The size of the house does not matter as long as the bed and other items fit in it.

    A cobblestone house will protect you from hostile mobs. Important materials can be kept in the house - crafting tables, oven and chest.

    3. Expansion of the island

    The presence of a cobblestone generator allows you to expand the island with their help and get additional space for future projects. More importantly, land will be needed to build farms and get food. The sooner the expansion of the island and the collection of land begins, the better. You will need to get inside the island to collect every available block of land.

    Some players prefer to create a waterfall over the edge of the island and build a platform underground. Choose the method you like so as not to lose ground in the process.

    4. Craft a bed

    Beds are an essential item in SkyBlock. If you die during the game, there is no guarantee that you will be reborn on the island. It may take up to 8-10 respawns before you get back to the island. With a bed, you can set a spawn point and avoid such problems.

    Crafting a bed shouldn't be a problem if you have enough wool from shorn sheep.

    Although you don't need to sleep, you can use threads to create wool. When night falls, go hunting spiders in the places where they are found on the island. Killed spiders drop a thread. It becomes even easier when there is a mob spawn platform (about its crafting below).

    It is not difficult to craft wool from threads. Hunt spiders instead of shearing sheep.

    You can survive on rotten flesh, but why is it necessary? Growing wheat will help ensure a steady supply of food. Wheat grows for a couple of in-game days and can be turned into bread, which restores six units of hunger.

    Wheat seeds can be taken from tall grass: if you place blocks of land in squares and allow the grass to grow and spread, then you will have a permanent supply of seeds.

    Mowing grass often yields wheat seeds, making grass an invaluable resource.

    Carrots satisfy hunger better than wheat, but at first they are not in SkyBlock, and you can only get them if they drop from a killed zombie.

    6. Create a pumpkin farm

    Pumpkins are not a necessary item, but a small farm would be great. Since Minecraft Update 1.4.2, players can use pumpkins to create pumpkin pie - it restores 8 hunger points (more bread).

    It takes one pumpkin, one sugar, and one egg to create a pie.

    Sugar is obtained from sugar cane, eggs are laid by chickens. Chickens can appear in the SkyBlock when creating a platform 24 blocks from home. On this platform, place all the blocks of earth and let the grass grow. When all the earth blocks are covered with grass, chickens begin to appear.

    7. Create a sugarcane farm

    The sugarcane in SkyBlock has no other purpose than to provide sugar for the pumpkin pie. Until recently, players were able to complete the quest to create a bookcase using sugarcane paper and cowhide; now the spawn rate of animals has been significantly reduced, so the likelihood of cows and sheep spawning on the island has dropped dramatically. Chickens and Pigs continue to spawn quite often if there are enough Grass Blocks.

    8. Create a furnace

    The furnace is created using eight cobblestone blocks on a workbench. Furnaces are used to burn blocks and turn them into other items. For example, iron ore can only be converted into iron in a furnace.

    Go to the workbench and make a furnace.

    In SkyBlock, stoves are essential for charcoal making and cooking. There is nowhere to mine coal in SkyBlock and it is obtained by burning blocks of wood in a furnace.

    You will see flames and the wood will turn into charcoal. Use it to create torches.

    9. Create torches

    Torches are important for defending against mobs. As the island expands, there is more room for mobs to spawn at night, especially if there are no light sources. Too many hostile mobs can lead to disaster, especially if the house is not defended.

    To create torches you need sticks and chunks of coal or charcoal.

    Place the torch next to the block of water to prevent the latter from turning into a block of ice. Since the SkyBlock map is in an ice biome, the water can freeze.

    10. Create stone slabs

    Mobs cannot spawn on half a slab. In this case, the material of the slab does not matter, be it cobblestone, stone, wood, etc.

    Plates are created by placing three of the same building components in a row on the crafting table; Three cobblestones in a row will create a cobblestone slab.

    Before building and expanding an island, use slabs to prevent zombies, creepers and skeletons from spawning. Placing other blocks on the slabs again makes spawning mobs possible.

    11. Create an endless source of water

    An infinite source of water can be natural or player-created. The easiest way to create an infinite water source is to create a 3 x 1 rectangle of water. By selecting water from the middle block, you get an unlimited supply. Water is needed for farms and waterfalls. You can also create a lake from the water and fish.

    12. Create a small lake

    The lake provides an even greater endless source of water and serves as a source of fish. If nothing happens with wheat, melon and pumpkin, fish can become another food source.

    When there is a lake, you need a fishing rod:

    To create it, three sticks are required, placed diagonally, with two strands at the end.

    To fish, right-click on the lake. When the float goes under water (with a splash sound), right-click again.

    13. Create a platform for spawning mobs

    Building a personal mob spawner is a great way to get needed materials like rotten flesh, bones, and arrows. Build a platform 24 blocks from the house with a fence around it.

    A good option is to create one platform on top of another with a hole in the middle through which the mobs will fall down; if the platform is high enough, the mobs die from falling, they drop out loot, which you just have to pick up. The bottom platform can be crafted with anti-spawn tiles so that all mobs spawn at the top.

    14. Collect arrows and craft a bow

    Once you have a platform for spawning mobs, collect arrows from skeletons. You cannot create a bow without arrows, and crafting arrows in SkyBlock is impossible, since this requires a stick, feather and flint.

    Feathers and sticks can be obtained from wood and chickens, flint must be mined in gravel, which is not in SkyBlock. This makes skeletons the only source of arrows.

    With your arrows, create a bow with three sticks and three strings. The island can now be defended from a distance.

    15. Collect the bone meal

    Trees, wheat and other vegetation do not grow quickly, and sometimes there is no time. Using bone meal on seedlings, wheat and other vegetation allows them to grow instantly, although several attempts may be required.

    Bone meal is created from skeletal bones, so a mob spawner is needed again.

    Bone meal is also useful for growing grass and more wheat for planting or feeding chickens. It is also needed to grow giant mushrooms in dark locations like the End.

    16. Creation and activation of the End portal

    From the SkyBlock card, you can go to the Edge. However, even there you will find yourself on the island in the air. Getting into the Edge opens up additional opportunities; you can create a platform for spawning Pigman and grow them to get gold nuggets.

    We have already talked about in detail.

    Then they can be turned into gold bars, suitable for crafting other items. You can create golden armor, tools and weapons. Gold nuggets can be used to create golden apples from the regular ones on the crafting table. Golden Apples restores 4 health points, giving regeneration for 5 seconds.

    17. Craft Giant Red Mushrooms

    The region is a great place to grow giant mushrooms. They are obtained by using bone meal on red or brown mushrooms. The destruction of these mushrooms yields many of the mushrooms from which they are grown: red giant mushrooms produce many red mushrooms, brown ones - brown ones. This is a great option for growing mycelium and making mushroom soup.

    The endless darkness of the End and the large space are great for growing giant mushrooms!

    Giant mushrooms require 7 x 7 x 6 space to grow in complete darkness, so the Edge is more efficiently utilized in this regard than the SkyBlock Island itself. Mushroom Soup restores 6 units and is made with one cup, one brown mushroom, and one red mushroom.

    Download SkyBlock

    To download this survival map, go here:. If you do not know how to install a map on Minecraft, then there is a step-by-step instruction on the download page.

    There are plenty of things to do on SkyBlock Island, even if you don't complete all of the missions. The main thing here is survival and tasks are directly related to it. Try to play on this map without cheats, as if you really were on the island in splendid isolation ...

    Will you try to survive or will you die right away? Well, it's time to find out with amazing SkyBlock style maps for MCPE! In this post, I'll show you 5 of the very best SkyBlock themed cards that make more sense than one floating block. Compatible with versions of the game for iOS, Android and Windows 10! These maps will work with other versions as well. Minecraft 1.1.5.

    Island in the sky

    This is my favorite card! You start out with a simple square SkyBlock island and home. Inside the house, you will find villagers who will sell you tools, blocks, and other things. Really good card!

    Skychunk

    This is a really deep skyblock card! Legends say that some caves contain treasures. Don't forget to set the difficulty to maximum and play in Survival mode!

    Sky Survival Islands - survival islands ...

    You spawn on a regular patch of grass. You will immediately notice other floating islands, each with their own biomes and unique loot.

    You need to use whatever survival skills you have in order to survive as long as possible. If you intend to survive (which is required), I highly recommend finding ways to explore other islands as they will provide you with the resources you need to survive. Have some fun!

    Trading Skyblock - trade to survive!

    And this is also a skyblock card, but with trade. The map uses, as well as some clever tricks, allowing you to access the store, which can be used to buy and sell items that are obtained from the heavenly islands.

    And if you find a way to survive and gather enough resources, you can eventually travel to the End and fight Ender the Dragon. I don't like it as much as the first card. Here you need to travel between the regular world and the custom Land, trading with the villagers.

    Mega Skyblock

    Last but not least, the SkyBlock map features a different style of floating islands. Each with its own biome.

    The Mega Skyblock map is a little different from the usual simple island survival challenge, as it includes fourteen different islands (not just one) that the player must explore in order to complete the map. Each island symbolizes a biome or dimension and provides you with new materials that you can use to survive.

    The player appears on an island that contains only the most basic resources needed to survive. Open the chest to find some items. Remember to use them sparingly, as there is no way to get any of the items back if you lose or break them.

    There are 14 different islands, and on each of them you can find new resources you need to survive.

    I hope you enjoyed this collection of maps, if so, be sure to leave a comment and see our other maps in the corresponding section! Also, these maps will work in future versions of MCPE.

    Skyblock is a map where you start on a small island floating in an endless world of emptiness. There are no blocks below you, no resources, except for the small island you are standing on. Before you start, you must know how to make a cobblestone generator in order to survive and expand your island.

    In Noobcrew's classic Skyblock, most of the resources are not available. Impossible to go to Hell or Nether, zombie villagers cannot be healed and traded with them. No clay, emeralds and many others were simply impossible to obtain.

    There are nine mini-islands on this map that use their own loot tables. Each of the islands is a separate biome. These are ice thorns, desert, jungle, forest, flower forest, mushroom island, extreme hills and swamps. You start out in a flat biome.

    There are three versions of this map: Easy, Medium / Challenge, and Hard. We recommend starting with an easy one and completing all the challenges, which you can read more about under the spoiler.
