Is it worth joining your teammates in Skyrim? Companions - walkthrough of Skyrim. Training with Vilkas

There is no classic guild of warriors in the world of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, although The Companions can be considered one of them. This is a brotherhood that devoted itself to war, but did not forget about the honor that is inherent only in truly great warriors.

The Companions do not have a single leader, there is only advisor Kodlak, who bears the title of Harbinger, and a circle of the most courageous warriors, but they only have advisory functions. The guild of Companions itself does not obey anyone, this is its meaning.

You will first meet them before approaching Whiterun, where they will fight a giant on one of the nearby farms. After the battle, Aela the Huntress will approach you and invite you to visit their home - Jorrvaskr, which is located in the same city.

There you can chat with other comrades and learn about the foundations of this brotherhood. I'll tell you how to join the ranks of the Companions and completing their quests.

First you need to talk to Kodlak, he is located at the very end of the residential area. Vilkas will speak out against your entry, but he will be convinced to give you a chance and will be given your first task.

To arms

In the quest " To arms"(Take Up Arms) you will have to complete a few simple instructions from the Companions.

Training with Vilkas

First you have to wave the iron a little. We go out with Vilkas into the yard and after a short conversation he will order you to strike him several times in order to assess your strength. We beat him, after which he gives us the next task.

Take the sword to Yorlund

You need to take the sword to Eorlund so that he can sharpen it. Jorlund is a blacksmith and is located next to Jorvaskr in the Skyforge. From him we learn a little about the structure of the brotherhood. Then he gives us another assignment.

Take the shield to Eila

Yorlund asks to take the shield to Eila. We return to the residential area of Jorrvaskr and find Aela in one of the rooms - there she talks with Skjor. After exchanging a few words with them, you leave with Farkas. He takes you to a room where you can sleep.

After which you can take tasks from him, Eila, Farkas and Skjor, which are randomly generated. By completing several of them, you will establish yourself among the Companions and receive the next normal task from Skjor.

Proving honor

In the quest " Proving honor"(Proving Honor) we will have to go with Farkas to the Ancient Cairn (Dustman’s Cairn), which is located southeast of Morthal. Your goal is to obtain a fragment of the legendary ax of Wuuthrad.

Be careful, because after accepting the quest, Farkas will automatically replace your companion. So if he is carrying something valuable, then take care of it in advance.

Some time after the start of clearing the dungeon, you will find yourself trapped behind bars and Farkas will be surrounded by servants of the Silver Hand order. As a result, Farkas will turn into a werewolf before your eyes and kill them all. So you will find out that all the members of the circle in the Companions are in fact, and they are being hunted by this order, which lured us into a trap.

At the end of the dungeon we will find an ax fragment and one of the. After which we return to Jorrvaskr, where we are officially accepted into the ranks of the Companions, and as a reward we are given a weapon of our choice. Next, we should complete one of the small assignments, after which we receive an invitation from Skjor to meet him at night at Underforge.

Silver hand

In the quest " Silver hand"(The Silver Hand) we meet Skjor in Underforge under the Heavenly Forge and participate in a blood ritual with Aela, which ultimately results in .

Then our task will be to cut out the Silver Hand camp.

We go to fort Gallows Rock, it is located southwest of Windhelm. We do our job and talk to Eila again to complete this quest.

Blood Honor

After completing the previous task, Kodlak calls us to him, who got wind of our affairs. We receive the quest " Blood Honor"(Blood's Honor), in which we will help him get rid of the curse of lycanthropy.

Kodlak takes us to the Bilegulch Mine, which is located between Markarth and Falkreath. Our task is to cut off the heads of the Glinmoril witches.

We are only asked for one head, but it is better to take at least four if you want to heal yourself and everyone in the Circle (Ayla will not want to), so as not to come here again later.

Upon returning to Whiterun, you may notice strange behavior from the town's inhabitants - several of them will gather at the entrance to Jorrvaskr. Near the stairs you will find Torvar and Eila, next to whom are lying the bodies of people from the Order of the Silver Hand.

In Jorrvaskr itself, Vilkas will approach you and ask where you were in your hour of need. It turns out that while we were hunting witches, the Silver Hand attacked Jorrvaskr. As a result, Kodlaka died a heroic death, and all the fragments of Wuthrad were stolen.

The next task will begin immediately.

Purifying revenge

In the quest " Purifying revenge"(Purity of Revenge) Vilkas and I set off to avenge Kodlak and return the ax fragments. Our destination is Driftshade Refuge southeast of Dawnstar.

There’s nothing fancy here - we clean everything out, collect the fragments and return to Jorrvaskr.

Last duty

In the final quest " Last duty"(Glory of the Dead) Vilkas asks everyone to come to Kodlak's funeral. The funeral itself takes place in the Sky Forge, where the Companions and several residents of Whiterun have gathered.

After the prayers, Yorlund will ask you to give him the fragments of Wuthrad, then he will send you to Kodlak’s room for the latter. After which we leave for a meeting with members of the Circle in Underforge. There you talk about Kodlak, and at the end Eorlund brings the restored ax to Wuthrad.

We all go together to Ysgramor’s Tomb. There we insert an ax into the hands of the statue, which will lead to the opening of a passage to the burial vault. After this you can pick up the ax; the passage will not be closed.

There you need to talk to the spirit of Kodlak, throw the witch's head into the fire and defeat the spirit of the beast. After which you will be called the Harbinger of the Companions - the first true leader of the brotherhood after Ysgramor.

The Companions are a caste of Skyrim warriors that has existed for five thousand years since its founding by the legendary Ysgramor. A base called Jorrvaskr was built next to Heavenly Forge, giving weapons forged in it “heavenly” strength. An entire city was soon founded around Jorrvaskr - Whiterun.

You can find the Companions fighting the giant at Pelagio Farm near Whiterun, just down the road from Riverwood to Whiterun.
You need to talk about joining inside Jorrvaskr with Kodlak Whitemane.

To arms
Before joining, you will be tested for professional suitability. Follow Vilkas out into the yard. Hit his shield, that's the whole test. You will immediately be used as an errand boy. Go up to the Sky Forge and speak with Yorlund Greymane to give him Vilkas's sword to sharpen. Yorlund himself will ask you to carry the shield for Eila. After this, Farkas will show you the shared bedroom.

Bruiser on call
Farkas will send you to deal with Skulvar Blackhilt in the Whiterun stables. Defeat him in a fist fight. Report success to Farkas.

Test of Valor You need to talk to Skjor. The first serious task. He wants you to retrieve a fragment of Wuuthrad, Ysgramor's axe, from the Ancient Cairn dungeon. Talk to Farkas and go to the place. Awakened draugr await you inside. In one of the rooms, next to the throne room, there will be a lever on the table (if you see the lever on the wall of the corridor, then you have already skipped the room). He will close the bars behind you, and outside Farkas will be attacked by the Silver Hand people. A very “woolly” skeleton will be revealed in the Companions’ closet. This is probably why the “Silver Hands” have silver weapons. You will continue to meet them. You must get to the Ancient Crypt. There the battle between the draugr and the “silver hands” is already in full swing. The key to the iron door is in the same room, in a chest on a pedestal. Next will be rats, and then frost spiders. Finally, you will reach the hall with a new word of power and the desired fragment. The draugr will not like his abduction very much; there are several dozen of them here. Absolutely crazy fight. You can return to Jorrvaskr. They are already waiting for you in the yard. You are now officially one of the Companions.

An entry will appear in the MISCELLANEOUS section: Talk to the leaders of the Companions about quests.
There are four to choose from:

Skjor: Heirlooms
Thieves have stolen heirlooms from a Falkreath family. It's hard to say for sure how random this quest is. I was sent to the Divided Gorge to get an ebony sword. It is quite possible that you will be sent to another place and for something else. The cave will be inhabited by magicians. The sword was found in a chest next to the wall with a new word of power. And on the table lies one of Barenziah's Stones! Return to Skjor and give the heirloom.

Vilkas: Rescue of abducted people

You will be sent to find kidnapped people. The location and names are likely to change. I was sent to the Rannveig Abode for Alem. Ghosts were waiting for me there, forced to fight against their will. If you joyfully rush for a new word of power, you may not notice a trap on the floor with a funny action. You can do something smarter - go down through the passage on the left. Kill the kidnapper. On the table you can find one of Barenziah's Stones! Talk to the kidnapping victim, now she will follow you to the city. Say goodbye to her and report to Vilkas. Eila

Aela the Huntress: Pest Control

You need to clear one cave of living creatures. In my case it was Pine Peak Cave and the cave bear. Return to Ayla.

Farkas: Bruiser on call

You need to beat up a particularly violent tavern patron. Just select the "fight" option in the dialogue. In my case, the “lucky” one was Stenvar from Windhelm. After victory, return to Farkas.

Now you need to talk to Skjor about work. Any other character will still send you to him.

Silver Hand

Skjor wants to meet you at the Lower Forge, which is located directly below the Sky Forge. At night, find him on the stairs near the entrance. After Eila passes, talk to Skjor and you can enter. So, you have to become a werewolf. Drink from the Chalice of the Lower Forge.
Now you are a real werewolf! However, even though the entire city is attacking you, there is no point in killing all the characters. Of course, it's up to you to decide. You just need to hold out for a few minutes, since your speed allows you to avoid getting hit by arrows. You will wake up somewhere in the forest, completely naked, but you have all your belongings with you, get dressed. Aela will inform you that you are on your way to hunt for the werewolf-haters, the Silver Hand, who have set up camp at Fort Gallows Rock. Judging by the bodies of the werewolves, these hunters are not as mediocre as they seemed at the first meeting. In the end, you will have to kill Krev the Skinner, who has brought a lot of trouble. Unfortunately, you will find Skjor dead.

A blow to the heart

It's not time to grieve - it's time to take revenge. You need to go to the Orotheim cave, which is located near the waterfall, to kill the Leader of the Silver Hand. Return to Eila.

Until you accept a new task from her, you can complete one of the remaining Companions from other employers, described above.
Blood and Honor
Talk to Eila. She will say that Kodlak White Mane wants to see you. Sit on the chair opposite him. At the end of the dialogue, he will ask you to kill the Glenmoril witches and bring him their heads. Go to the Glenmoril Coven. One head is enough, but (optional) you can kill all the witches in the cave.
Return to Jorrvaskr, which was attacked by the Silver Hands. Vilkas will meet you inside and tell you that Kodlak was killed and all the fragments were stolen.

Purifying revenge
Travel with Vilkas to Fort Driftstaed to recover the shards of Wuuthrad and avenge the attack. Additionally, you can kill all representatives of the “Silver Hand”. There are a lot of soldiers in Driftsteid. You need to go down to the basement. From the basement, go upstairs through another door. You will find the debris on the table. Return to Whiterun.

Last duty
You need to attend Kodlak Whitemane's funeral, which will take place near the Sky Forge. Yorlund will take the ruins of Wuuthrad from you. And he will also ask you to bring the last fragment that Kodlak kept in his chambers in Jorrvaskr. Also in the coffee table you will find Kodlak's diary. Return to Yorlund and give the last fragment. Now go to the Lower Forge. It was decided to go to the Tomb of Ysgramor. You will be given the reforged two-handed ax of Wuuthrad, which is the key to the tomb. The place can be easily reached from Winterhold if you go under the bridge. Vilkas, Farkas and Eila are waiting for you inside. Activate the statue to place the ax in its rightful place. The path inside will open, Eira and Farkas go with you. You are greeted by the ghosts of your comrades buried with Ysgramor. When spiders loom ahead, Farkas refuses to continue on his way. Gradually the ghosts will become stronger. At the end, talk to Kodlak's ghost. Activate the Harbinger's Flame to throw the witch's head into the fire. Apparently it’s not in vain that you spent so much time dragging around decaying and stinking remains. The Wolf Spirit of Kodlak will appear, the same one that he saw in his dream (you will understand what we are talking about if you read his diary), and which you must overcome. Talk to the rescued Kodlak.
TNow, in order to recover from lecanthropy and stop being a werewolf, you can throw the head of the Glenmoril witch into the Flame of the Harbinger and defeat your wolf spirit.
In the chest, if you go up a little higher, there will be a Shield of Ysgramor. You can also pick up Wuuthrad on the way out if you need it.
You can also find an additional exit from the tomb. As you go up the steps, you will learn a new word of power.

Now the Heavenly Forge will have new forging capabilities. All members of the Companions can become your companions. The Harbinger's room (the one in which Kodlak lived) belongs to you. And finally, you can complete the tasks of the three remaining members of the Circle.

After completing several tasks for your Companions, you can receive personal tasks from them.
In search of the dragon
Vilkas wants to kill the dragon. You should go with him and fight the flying creature. You can also complete a similar task from Farkas.

Cleansing

When you have the head of the Glenmoril Witch with you, talk to Vilkas. Vilkas wants to be cleansed of lycanthropy. You will need another Glenmoril Witch head. Travel with Vilkas to Ysgramor's Tomb. Throw your head into the same Flame of the Harbinger and fight the Wolf Spirit. Then talk to Vilkas.
You can also complete a similar task from Farkas.

P.S. If, after killing the Wolf Spirit, a follower does not start a dialogue, enter “setstage CR13 100” into the console, respecting the case and without quotes.

After talking with Kodlak, we have to follow Vilkas upstairs and defeat him in battle, after which he will give us his sword so that you take it to Yorlund Gray Mane, and he, in turn, will ask us to take the shield to Eila. After that, follow Farkas to the newcomers’ barracks, and after that, he will give you a random quest (see random quests) “Thug on Call”, you can take it or refuse it.

Trial of Valor 2

After we complete one random quest, we go talk to Skjor. Skjor will instruct us to find a fragment of the ax of Ysgramor, the ancient Nord commander who led the Nords to Skyrim. After talking with Skjor, we go to Farkas and find out the details from him. We have to go to the Ancient Cairn - a mound where a fragment of Ysgramor's ax is supposedly located. Screen:

The icon next to the Ancient Cairn is Hamvir's Rest, there, after killing several skeletons and draugr, we can find a master-level chest and a helmet worth 1000 gold. We go into the Ancient Cairn together with Farkas. In the first room, on the table, there is a book “The Battle for Sancre Tor”, after reading which you will increase your skill with two-handed weapons. We go down, making our way through the draugr, open the iron door and go into a larger hall with an enchanting table. In the room with the table we find a room with a lever - we activate it and watch what is happening.

After the death of the bandits, we go further into the depths of the mound, making our way through the bandits and draugr. In the mound you can find a “master” level chest, opening which you can get a valuable level drop. The path in the mound is extremely linear, so it is impossible to get lost in it. We have to reach the next location - an ancient crypt, there we go forward, passing from above through a large hall with an ancient door. The path is extremely straightforward and soon we should find ourselves in the hall through which we passed from above. In that very hall, a door awaits us, locked with a key, and the key lies in a chest, which is located in the same hall and it is simply impossible not to find it, but just in case:

Taking the key from the chest, we can open the closed door with it. We go into the hall with the alchemy table, and from there into the spider’s lair. We fight with the spiders, and then with the draugr. When we reach the iron door, we go into the central hall with the word of power, study the word of power, take a fragment of the axe, and then the draugr will attack us, but we can simply escape from the Kurgan. You can escape through this hole:

Leaving the mound, we return to Jorrvaskr. Vilkas will meet us at the entrance, and after that we will become an ally. To start the next main quest, we need to complete any random quest.

Main quest line Silver Hand 1

After completing the second random quest, we will need to talk with Skjor, and before that with any of the members of the quest-issuing circle. After talking with Skjor, we wait until evening time and meet him next to the Lower Forge, go inside through the stone passage. We will be offered to become a member of the “Circle”, namely, to become a werewolf. We agree and go through the ritual.

After using the bowl, we fall asleep and find ourselves in Whiterun. When you wake up in Whiterun, try to kill only guards or unnecessary NPCs. Waking up, we find ourselves in the forest, and Eila is next to us. We run with her to the “Gallows Rock”, at the entrance we deal with the “silver hands” - hunters of evil spirits, and after that we go inside. Having entered the “Gallows Rock”, we activate the lever, which is located next to the werewolf’s head, go down and go through the only possible door (the second is closed on the other side).

It is better not to let out a beast werewolf who is in prison. Having entered the next room after the prison with a living werewolf, we destroy the evil spirits hunters there and before going up one of the two stone stairs, we go forward into a small room, and chests await us in the room. Having gone upstairs, we read the book “On the Importance of Place”, it is on the table next to the closet on which the backpack lies. By opening the door to a room with a fireplace, you can get several expensive potions. We go down and find ourselves in the central room, where we have to kill the leader of the “silver hands”, Krev Shkuroder.

Kill Krev the Skinner and talk to Eila. Skjor is dead and we, as befits a true ally, must take cruel and bloodthirsty revenge and devour everyone for it! The quest is over. After completing the quest, three new random quests will be available to us.

Blood and Honor 2

After we complete two random quests, we will be told that Kodlak Gray Mane is looking for us. Kodlak found out about our foray into the Gallows Rock, which is understandable, given the “disappearance” of Skjor. Kodlak will ask us to get the heads of the Glenmoril witches in order to be cured of the gift of Hircine in the future. We need to get to the Glenmoril Coven (indicated by a marker on the map). Having reached the coven, we go inside. Inside the coven, all the witches and witchers of the coven are indicated with a marker, I killed them all and stocked up on their heads (you can collect them from the inventory), but you must have at least two heads (preferably three or four). I advise you to kill all the witchers, they are not such terrible enemies (weaker than the witches), especially if you have potions. Inside the coven there are also several books that improve skills. Having killed the Glenmoril witches/witchers and collected their heads, we return to Jorrvaskr. Jorrvaskr was attacked by the "silver hands". Vilkas will meet us inside and tell us two sad news at once. First: Kodlak is dead. Second: Enemies stole the fragments of Wuuthrad, the legendary ax of Ysgramor.

Purifying Revenge 3

We must avenge old man Kodlak and return the ruins of Wuuthrad to their rightful place. This time Vilkas will be our brother in arms.

We go to Driftshade - a fort of the “silver hands”, located southeast of Dawnstar. “Silver hands” are waiting for us at the entrance; we destroy them and go inside the fort. We go down, interrupt the “silver hands”, go left (the front gate is locked on the other side). When we go into the next room, we will find a Guide to Skyrim there, if you haven’t found it, of course.

Marked with a white arrow (character location). We go down the stairs, go forward and find the door of the “Adept” level, opening which, we will find ourselves inside the sleeping quarters of the “Silver Hands”. In the room we will not find practically anything interesting, except for the vigilantes, the chest, as well as all sorts of little things. We go forward, kill two vigilantes in a room that looks like a dining room and activate the lever, which is located to the right of the grate blocking the path. We go down to the next location - Driftshade's Basement.

In the basement we find ourselves in a liquor warehouse, go through it, go downstairs, open the door, kill the “Silver Hands”. In this small room, from which there is a path to the ice caves, there is a closet. The cabinet is located in the center of the room and on it is the book “Rearguard”, which increases light armor. We pass through an icy passage in which there are two cages at the top (in one there is a horse, and in the other there is a Werewolf beast, she should not be released, because she treats us aggressively), and then there is a torture room and a large hall with a fireplace (look behind it and you will find several useful potions and a wallet with coins). After passing the hall with the fireplace, we will again go out to the Driftshade shelter. The climax. We cut out all the remaining “Silver Hands”, and in connection with this we complete an additional quest and take away the wreckage of Wuuthrad. In the room next to the fireplace there is a book “Warrior”, which will increase our blocking skill, and on the table with the fragments of Wuuthrad there is “2920 Month of the Morning Star, Volume One”, a book that will increase our skill with one-handed weapons. There is also a chest with valuable level items in the room. We leave Driftshade and return to Whiterun.

Last request 4

Returning to Whiterun, we learn from Vilkas about Kodlak’s funeral. We go up to the Upper Forge and watch the funeral of Kodlak Gray Mane.

During the funeral, Yorlund Gray Mane will approach us and ask us for the fragments of Wuuthrad, and then send for the last fragment of the legendary ax of Ysgramor, which is located in Kodlak’s chambers. In the coffee table located in Kodlak's chambers, we can find a fragment of Wuuthrad and Kodlak's diary. We return the fragment of Wuuthrad to Yorlund. After returning the last fragment of the ax, we must go to the Lower Forge in order to talk with our brothers in arms from the circle. During a conversation in the Lower Forge, we learn that it is possible to cleanse Kodlak’s soul from the blood curse, but for this we will need Wuuthrad, Ysgramor’s ax.

The conversation is interrupted by Yorlund, who has once again forged the legendary ax! After this, we, together with other members of the Circle, go to the tomb of Ysgramor! Ysgramor's Tomb is located northwest of Winterhold on a fairly large island. Having discovered the tomb, we need to go inside. Inside, Vilkas will approach us, ask him about the danger in the ruins, and then activate the statue of Ysgramor. After activating the statue, a passage will open in the center of the hall; before going to the center of the hall, we can again pick up the ax from the statue of Ysgramor by activating it. Our brothers in arms will be Eila and Farkas. Let's go into the passage. Making our way through the spirits of our comrades, we find ourselves in the first hall, turning right in the first hall, and, entering the passage, we find ourselves in the second hall.

In the second hall, Farkas will leave us, who will return to Vilkas, in order to go further and fight the spiders, we must hit the web that blocks our path with our weapons. We kill the spiders and remove the cobwebs on the next passage, and after that we will have to fight a mini-boss - a giant frosty spider. In order to remove the grate and move on, we will have to use the chain, which is located to the left of the passage. We pass through the mound, making our way through the rows of ghosts, we reach an iron door, opening which we will find ourselves in a room with a closed grate. We can open it using the activator on the pedestal in the center of the hall. More serious rivals await us in the next room; it is also worth noting the location of the book “Legendary Sank-Tor”, which increases the skill of two-handed weapons. The next room is the funeral room. He is our current goal. In the middle of the hall, by the fire, stands the spirit of Kodlak.

We speak with Kodlak and throw one of the heads of the Glenmoril witches, which we were supposed to cut off in the quest “Blood and Honor,” into the fire of the harbingers, and then we fight with the spirit of the wolf. After defeating the wolf spirit, we will have to talk with Kodlak, who has freed himself from the curse. Kodlak will announce us as the new harbinger with Aela, who will speak to us after this. Aela will remain in the tomb, but for a while, and then she will return to Jorrvaskr. Before leaving the tomb through the emergency passage, find the only chest in the burial hall, which contains the Shield of Ysgramor.

I advise you to leave the tomb not through the entrance through which we got inside, but through the passage located to the left of the statue of Ysgramor. Having exited into Skyrim, we go up and find the word of power at the top. This is the end of the main line of companion quests, but many more random adventures await us ahead (including 2 more quests that are clearly worth going through!)

Random Quests

This section is dedicated to random quests for companions, and they are the main feature of this faction. All random companion quests are briefly described below.

The following random quests are available after completing “To Arms”:

Farkas quests:

Bruiser on call:

  • Talk to Farkas.
  • Find and defeat a random target in a random city in a fist fight.

Go to Jorrvaskr, which is located in Whiterun. This is a large building in front of the Sky Forge, to the right of Dragon's Reach, and this is where the Skyrim companion playthrough will take place. Go inside and look for Kodlak - this is the man who runs everything here. Most often it can be found in residential areas. Talk to him and ask him to join his teammates. Vilkas, sitting next to Kodlak, will be tasked with trusting you in the matter. Well, follow him into the yard. Push him on the head a couple of times and he will immediately calm down. Personally, I think I could kill him anyway. Oh well, it doesn't matter. The next step in the "To Arms" quest will be to direct you to Yorlund.

I need to sharpen the sword, which, according to Vilkas, is worth more than me. Talk to Yorlund and, ending the conversation, he will ask you to take the shield to Eila. Apparently, we will be running errands for a long time in our passage of Skyrim... Okay, let's go take the shield. Listen to Eila's reasoning and answer the provocative question about Vilkas in the spirit that you do not want to brag. Farkas will take you to where newcomers like you spend the night. Right there in the barracks, do not let go of Farkas and immediately take the task from him. He will instruct you...

Skyrim is uneasy

The task is simple - go to the Silent Moons camp and kill the leader. Just unload first so you can get all the trophies. Be sure to go to the sellers, because money is the basis for a comfortable passage of Skyrim. As soon as you are ready, go to the Quiet Moons camp. The fastest way to get there is through the Clear Springs camp, which is located above Whiterun.

In the camp itself, enter and kill all enemies. There are three of them below and three above. Don't rush to go inside yet, first go into the interior of the upper tier, where the forge is located. Be sure to search the chest - there may be things very useful for completing Skyrim. After that, search everything outside and enter the door leading to the Quiet Moons Camp, the interior. There you need to immediately go right and kill two bandits, after which the task will be considered completed. In principle, this is enough, but I advise you to search the cave completely, since neither experience nor loot will hinder you. In principle, this is really all and it’s time to return to the city. Turn in the task to Farkas and receive the following.

Test of Valor

The task is called "Test of Valor" and first you need to talk to Skjorl. He will task you with finding another piece of Wuuthrad that a scientist supposedly discovered. Farkas happens to be our brother in arms, so go to him immediately. If you have a current companion, you will have to leave it at this point in Skyrim. Talk to him and accept him as your companion. Your former travel companion will wait for you at home, nothing will happen. We need to go to Ancient Cairn...

It is located west of the Quiet Moons camp, so you can safely move there and follow the mark on the map. There, go down inside and enter the gate. There is no one in the first room, so you can safely collect trophies. But when you go lower, you will again come to the draugs, whom you will have to kill. In general, in Skyrim, the passage often throws us towards the draugs, as if there is no one else with whom we can compete. Collect the loot and take the only path through the door to the left of the room's entrance. There you will find a descent down, covered in cobwebs. Killing spiders again? Well, what to do...

Going down, you will see a room with a stone hill in the center. From this hall, the passage is through a grate, which opens with a lever in the room on the left. As soon as you pull it, the grate will fall behind you and the door will jam. Farkas will volunteer to find the lever, but the door will jam and he will be attacked by opponents. An interesting twist in our Skyrim playthrough! However, Farkas will surprise you even more by turning into a werewolf. It is logical that all the attackers will be dead... And the grate will soon rise. So after that, think about how to be in the same room with an angry werewolf. Talk to Farkas, who has returned to his normal appearance, and ask about the incident.

In general, it's time to move on. In the next room, two opponents and a helmet await you; when picked up, a trap will be triggered. It costs a penny, so it’s absolutely not critical. Search everything here and move on. In your Skyrim playthrough, you will find a room with a draugr and a room with two opponents, adherents of the “silver hand”. The enemy with a two-handed sword is very serious, and the girl is a good shooter. After their death, go up the steps and collect trophies. In the niche on the left there is a chest with a master-level lock. Save before hacking and try to open it until you succeed, a painfully tasty onion lies there. Now it's time to move on, going down the steps.

In the next room are more Draugs. Kill everyone and go even lower. At this rate, we will go down to Hell, and the passage of Skyrim will not end. Well, business is business, let's move on... The passage will lead us to a large hall, which has fallen into disrepair due to the enormous amount of time that no one has cleaned there. There will be two more opponents here who will fall under your blows. There is a chest and a bag that supposedly cannot be reached. But you can simply get it by standing on top of a pebble near it. Take the trophies and go to the next room.

There is a trap on the stairs, so go around it carefully. Kill two opponents and move on to the ancient crypt. This is where the “Test of Valor” quest takes us. There will immediately be one enemy, and then there will be a passage. Open the door and go there. You will cross a bridge, which is best to sneak along so that no one notices you. Or shoot everyone with a bow in your Skyrim playthrough. Otherwise, you will immediately have to fight with everyone who is holed up in the room below. But this is not such a problem, so just kill everything in your path. Along the corridors you will reach a hall in which there is a descent down. Go down and go first to the left to pick up trophies and clear the dungeon, and then to the right, behind the closed door. The key is right there in the chest

Behind a closed door you will be greeted by a couple of rats and an alchemy table on which you can prepare potions, if, of course, you know the ingredients. Go further and kill two more opponents in the form of two rats. And the next winding corridors that will lead us to a spider’s nest. Kill the spiders, which are made very naturally in the Skyrim walkthrough, and go forward, climbing the bridge. The next draugs are waiting for you. And behind the next door a new hall awaits you. It is to him that we have been going all this time. On the table, pick up a new scream and use the Vutard fragment. It is for him that we came here. Plus, you'll get another dragon scream. Amazing. But the crowd of Draugs that attacks you will be very persistent in their desire to kill the intruder. Let's not let them fulfill this desire, right?

When the trophies are collected, the draugr are dead, you can move on with the passage of Skyrim. Climb the stairs to the top and exit from there. You can go back to Jorrvaskr to take the "Test of Valor" quest. Near the entrance you will be met by Vilkas, who will say that everyone was waiting for my return and will ask you to follow him. It is now that you will be accepted into the ranks of the Brotherhood of Companions.

You can go to Yorlund for improved weapons. He will make it for free, and the sword will be quite good. Now you can choose any quest. Let's start, perhaps, with the quest from Farkas, since we have already completed his tasks. He will start the task...

Skyrim is uneasy

We need to clear Falkreath of a gang of bandits. Nothing complicated, everything is elementary. The best way is to get to Rorikstead by cart, and then move almost straight to the south. When you get there you will be immediately attacked. There are no friendly targets there. Kill everyone outside and collect all the trophies. And then it's time to go inside. Everything will turn out to be very prosaic at this stage of the passage of Skyrim - they entered, killed the leader, collected trophies and went to turn in the task. So don't worry. True, there are enough iron veins here, which is good news. It's time to hand over the task to Farkas. He will immediately give the task...

Silver hand

First we need to talk to Skjor. True, he will ask you to meet him near the Lower Forge in the evening. Just wait for yesterday and follow it. Everything is easy, and there is no need to frantically remember which forge we are talking about. Go inside, some kind of test awaits you. Have you already guessed what awaits here? You will be offered to become a Werewolf, otherwise you will not be able to enter the Circle. The choice is yours whether to become a werewolf or not. But you won’t be able to finish the line of the Brothers if you give up werewolfism in the passage of Skyrim. Therefore, watch the ritual and become a werewolf. I must say that if it were up to me, I would never have accepted the conversion. But the creators of the game do not provide such an opportunity. I hope a solution will be found later...

Now you need to listen to Aela and cut out the Silver Hand camp, werewolf hunters. After asking her about everything, we begin to move towards the camp. Don't forget to equip yourself, as you will find yourself completely naked after the transformation. Go inside and use the chain to open the passage. In the first room, two enemies and some loot await you. Basically, nothing special at this stage of Skyrim. Collect everything you need and move on. If you open the map, you will see two passages. Leaders from this room. First we go to the southern one, which then turns sharply to the east. There is a trap on the steps, plus two enemies, so be careful. At the far end of the hall, two more enemies are waiting for you; behind bars sits a wild werewolf who fights quite strongly. Be sure to pick all the locks - this will give you more experience and hacking skills.

It's time to go lower. Four opponents and a bunch of supplies are waiting outside the door, which you may also need. On the first floor you will only collect trophies, and on the second there will be a passage further along the passage of Skyrim. In the room with the fireplace there will be another enemy and a staircase down. And then there is the decisive room, in which the head of the Silver Hand will be. However, he won’t be in charge for long; killing him is easy and not difficult. And after everyone is killed, you can talk to Eila and get her next task...

Enemy plans

We have to go to Faldar's Tooth, where we need to find the plans of the Silver Hand. This is what we will do. This area is located west of Riften, where, if you want, you can get there by cart. Keep in mind - there are excellent archers there, so either compete in your ability to dodge arrows, or get into close combat. When the enemies who are pushing ahead are finished, it’s time to climb the fortress. Your goal is the leader of the robbers in the main tower. Keep in mind, this is not a new location, but simply the entrance to the premises. The leader is a very strong opponent at this stage of Skyrim. Therefore, it is better not to let him get close, using magic or a bow. After his death, you can already search the area for trophies. The goal of completing the quest “Enemy Plans” lies in a chest at the top of the tower in which the leader of the robbers himself lived. In addition, you can go down to the basements of the fortress and find there a bunch of allies of the Silver Hand plus a lists where wolves are fighting. If you break into a door with a “Master” lock level, you can make a wonderful profit in the equivalent of a bookmaker’s office. Well, if everything is collected, we need to go back to Eila. Immediately ask her about your next goal. She will give you the next task...

Relic

On the instructions of Aela, we need to go to Fort Fellhammer and get a fragment of Wuuthrad, which the members of the Silver Hand have already found. Can you guess what we will have to do in this part of the Skyrim walkthrough? That's right, kill a bunch of enemies again. The fastest way to get there is to use the carriage to Dawnstar City. And from there it’s clear to the south. You can walk, or you can ride a horse. There is nothing interesting outside except for three opponents. When they are dead, you can go inside. I advise you to immediately get into the Garrison, since this is where the leader lives and there is a quest chest that needs to be robbed. Essentially, this is where the task ends. But we can still go down into the mines.

In fact, this is only needed for the sake of experience and loot. This is the only way we will get more money for our future needs. And you can get a decent amount of ore, which is useful for Skyrim professions. True, there are plenty of opponents there, but no one has canceled the development of skills. There is nothing special about the mines, so decide for yourself whether to visit them or immediately go to the next task. In any case, we end up with Eila. Since we're doing her assignments, let's continue.

Blood and Honor

Kodlak wants to see us. Well, let's go visit him. Sit in a chair and talk to him. It is here that you will learn where the roots of werewolfism in the brotherhood of the Companions come from. I don't know about you, but I really want to stop being a werewolf. This feature in the passage of Skyrim is not for me. You can refuse the reverse transformation, nothing will happen to you for it. In any case, the task sends us to kill the Glenmoria witches. Leave Whiterun and go to Fort Sungard, as this is the closest area to the point of completing our task. From there you need to move south, to the mark on the map.

Enter the cave you reached. Once you enter, you will have one path to follow. Just around the corner the first witch will be waiting - a very tenacious creature that must be destroyed quickly and silently, otherwise there is a high risk of accidentally dying. Remember! Witches shoot fire very painfully. In any case, the enemy is destroyed and the area needs to be cleared further. There are four passages leading from the hall you find yourself in. Open the map and look - they will all become visible at once. Let's start with the north right. There is, of course, another witch who needs to be destroyed during our Skyrim playthrough. Killed? Go to the central hall. Now go up a little higher and go down the second northern passage. Collect trophies and go back to the central hall. Now let's go to the lower western passage. Another witch in another room. And the last passage, again through the top, in the western wall of the central hall. In addition to the witch, there is also a spider. However, you have already learned how to kill them. That's it, the coven is cleared and you can safely go back to Kodlak to turn in the task in the Skyrim walkthrough.

When you approach the Companions building, you will see three corpses of Silver Hand warriors. Well, God bless them. Pick up the trophies and move inside to Kodlak. And inside you will immediately be greeted by Vilkas with complaints. It turns out that Kodlak died... And the Silver Hand stole all the wreckage of Wuuthrad! Well, the task is completed and Vilkas begins a new one...

Purifying revenge

To begin, completely unload your inventory, leaving only the essentials. Considering that Vilkas is accompanying you, you will be able to take out half as much from there, because you will not be able to unload things to your assistant during the Skyrim walkthrough. Although we go there not for loot, but for revenge, we cannot deny ourselves the desire to earn money. Nam - southeast of Dawnstar or northeast of Fort Fellhammer. Choose for yourself how to get to your goal.

Don't forget that this is the main fort, so you should be equipped to the maximum. The fort itself is a mound with two enemies. All the main enemy forces are inside. As soon as you enter, you will immediately go down. Don't waste time, go ahead! Behind the first door there are two opponents, a descent down and a fork. First, let's go along the western passage. He will lead us to a hall with a bunch of weapons and another passage to the left. Do not touch the weapons for now, then come back and pick up everything for sale to ensure a comfortable passage of Skyrim. Now move west. Steps up, a turn and two opponents behind the door.

We go lower again... From this hall there is a passage only to the north. On the left there will be a closed door to the living quarters - crack it, kill the sleeping enemy and collect the loot. Then - again to the north. The passage will turn east and lead us into a hall with two more opponents. Kill them and take away everything valuable in the hall that will be useful for completing Skyrim. After that - into the next room to the east, which is marked on our map.
We go down to Driftshade - the basement. Rows of barrels will lead us to a small room with a trap and an enemy, from where there will be a passage only to the east. That's where we're heading. Behind the closed door is another room with a tank in the center and two opponents. Kill them, search them and move into the northern gap in the wall, which turns sharply to the west. There is an ice hall with two cells and two opponents. Kill them and hack the cells - the skill will come in handy.

Further to the north there are further traces of bloody torture and an enemy who will quickly fall under our blows. From the next room with a couple more future corpses, the passage leads sharply to the south, to another descent. Don't forget to profit here before moving on. We will again be sent to Driftshade's Shelter, from where we went down to the basement during the passage of Skyrim. True, now behind the door that was closed. Save and enter there. There are the last three opponents in this room. Kill them, take the debris from the table and pick up trophies. That's it, the task is completed, you can return. But I still advise you not to rush to submit the task, but to make a couple of trips back and forth to get the loot

Last duty

Well, we need to come to Kodlak's funeral... May the wise leader rest in peace. Go up to the Skyforge and participate in the ritual. Yorlund will immediately speak to you, who will demand the fragments for himself in order to prepare them for reforging. Give, of course, the ax will come in handy in the passage of Skyrim. In addition, we need to go to Kodlak’s chambers and bring the last fragment from Wuuthrad. It's a matter of two minutes. Therefore, quickly run for the fragment and return to Yorlund.

Now we need to go down to the Lower Forge, where the transformation into a werewolf took place. Listen to what the best warriors there say. I won’t tell you the whole situation, I’ll just say that you will have Wuuthrad, a gorgeous two-handed battle axe, at your disposal. Now we are sent to Ysgramor's tomb along with the entire Circle of Brothers. Well, let's go!

Leave the city and take the cart to Winterhold. From there it's closest to the mark on the map. That's what we'll do. I just went straight to the Tomb of Ysgramor, where we need to go on assignment. This is basically the fastest way. Talk to Vilkas inside and prepare for battle. As soon as you give the ax to Ysgramor, a passage inside will open. Well, if we ourselves have to show what we are worth, then it’s time to do it! The game Skyrim does not wait for passage

In the first hall you will find two ghosts that are easy to kill, and in the second there are three. They are killed very easily. There is only one passage from this hall - to the south. But after the next hall, Farkas will leave you with four opponents. In principle, considering what he had to go through with the spiders, this is logical. And now he will leave you. The next room is completely covered in cobwebs, so be careful. It is better for impressionable people to save themselves. There will also be a large spider, which is much easier to kill than at the beginning of the game. Therefore, just kill everyone, collect trophies, pull the chain and move south, since there is only a way there. There are three ghosts in the hall. Further on there is another hall with three ghosts. Perhaps in this room they are the most powerful of all the opponents in the passage of Skyrim.

Climb the stairs to the iron door and go inside. Turn the handle on the altar and go inside the opened room. In front of you is a crowd of enemies who also need to be killed. In principle, this is the penultimate room. Restore your life and enter the last iron door. There in the center stands the ghost of Kodlak, with whom you need to talk. At his request, throw one of the witches' heads into the fire in the center of the hall. As soon as you throw your head into the fire, you will be attacked by Kodlak's wolf component. A great twist in the passage of Skyrim. Kill her and talk to the spirit again. According to his behest, you need to return to Yorksvar and lead your comrades forward. Have you guessed what this means?.. Right there you can cure yourself of werewolfism, which I immediately did. After all, I am a man, not a beast. Then don't forget to collect the trophies and move to Whiterun. And on the way out, grab Wuuthrad from the hands of Isgramor - there is no need to leave such an artifact in the wrong place.
