If you come across a Pokemon, its image will appear on the map next to you. Tap on it and you will be taken to the capture screen. At the bottom of the screen is a Pokeball (red and white disc), and right in front of you is a Pokemon. We take the pokeball and throw it in the direction of the monster, while choosing the moment when the pokemon will be in the green circle. What are these rotating things on the map?

These are PokéStops - special caches that contain Pokeballs, Pokemon eggs, and other cool stuff. They are usually located in interesting places, such as public art installations or monuments of architecture, history and culture. So, while playing Pokémon GO, you can at the same time get acquainted with interesting objects nearby, which you had no idea about before.

When you get close enough to the PokéStop, it will expand in size and your smartphone will vibrate. Touch it on the map, and you will see a photograph of this place in the form of a disk. Make a swipe - the disc will start to rotate, bonuses will drop out of it. Collect them by touching each one.

But those big towers?

When you reach the fifth level, you will be invited to join the team. But these very towers (in the terminology of the game they are called "gyms") are the habitat of the teams.

Purchases are made using Pokécoins. They can be obtained either by conquering the "tower" and holding it for twenty hours, or by buying them for real money in a store. This function can be disabled, then after clicking on the icon on the map, the Pokemon will appear in front of you.

How to throw pokeballs?

In games released on Nintendo consoles, the enemy had to be weakened in battle before throwing the Pokeball. This is not required here, but the trap must still be thrown correctly. On the map, they are indicated by a spinning cube that turns into a pokeball icon when you approach it. By tapping on it, you will open the PokéStop and see its photo. Swipe it to the side and items like Poke Balls or Pokemon Eggs will drop out. You can collect such a "tribute" about once every five minutes. If pink petals are hovering around the pokéStop, it means that someone has put a bait there and it makes sense to watch.

What are Pokemon eggs for and how to incubate them?

All Pokémon hatch from eggs that can be placed in an incubator to begin the incubation process. Eggs come in three types, depending on how rare the Pokémon can hatch from. You can distinguish them by the inscription below: 2, 5 or 10 kilometers. This is the distance you need to travel with this egg in the incubator in order for a Pokemon to hatch from it.

Only one egg can be carried in an incubator at a time (but additional incubators can be purchased). The game monitors the speed of your movement, and if it exceeds 25 km / h, progress will not be counted until the speed returns to normal. Items
