Lycan reaper which branch is better. Dark Age: Reaper guide - strengths and weaknesses of the class. Reaper "Storm" development branch

Now, after a long time and a series of some changes, we can confidently talk about the advantages and disadvantages of the Reaper as a full-fledged character. We’ll talk about this and some of the conclusions that the community has made.

What is a reaper and how to play it?

Let's start with the fact that the choice of this class is available only for two races - Vesperians and Lycans. How has practice shown? The more effective path for character development depends on which race you choose. The class itself provides the character with good protection, a unique attracting skill and great damage, in some scenarios and situations - simply huge. The disadvantages include a small supply of mana and strict restrictions on some stats. This means that you have to make difficult decisions when choosing one development path or another. It will not be possible to cover all weaknesses. Bottom line, when used correctly, the reaper in Dark Age is a killing machine. But without an understanding of class, you are a whipping doll. It is impossible to play as an average player: you are either useless or very important.

Reaper swing branches

It would not be very correct to describe existing builds, since simply copying the build-up will not yet teach you how to play as a priest. So let's start with simple truths. In total, the priest has three development branches - Executioner, Guardian and Storm. The most useless of them, according to the gaming community, is the Guardian. Mostly because tanking in Dark Age is not so critical. In PvE there are better tanking characters, but in PvP they won’t pay much attention to you, since they will kill sweeter targets first, for example, healers and control classes. However, the guard's upgrade has a large supply of HP, a lot of resistance to critical damage and other nasty things. But absorbing damage is basically all a guard is capable of

Executioner

The Executioner is more interesting for the average player. Despite the fact that some consider this branch to be weaker in control, the executioner can still hold his target at the causal place literally permanently. The damage to a single target is huge. He really punishes.

An example can be given in this regard. The Reaper, the executioner of the Vesperian race, can take 15% of the maximum health from a numbed enemy with a blow from a bloodsucker. If you use buffs for hit points, and then madness, then the bloodsucker’s blow immediately kills 70% of the players on the Russian server. Of course, there are different nuances to this, and you won’t be able to run around executing everyone at once.

You still need experience and understanding, but there are such options. By the way, this is one of the main reasons for choosing the Vesperian race if you decide to upgrade to an executioner. Another 10 seconds of anti-control will be very pleasant, during which you can cause a lot of trouble to your opponents. As a result, the executioner turns out to be a very mobile character, with good control and good damage output. As for faith, the dark side will be more beneficial for the executioner. After all, at 70 energy, this is 2 seconds of complete immunity to control during the “Blood Explosion”. And a nice bonus to accuracy.

Storm

Mass dps, solo damage control, high crit percentage, excellent control - this is all about the reaper in the storm branch. And to a large extent, not because he does not have enough lives, but because such goals are one of the first to be focused on. This leads to the following advice for future storms. For priests and stormtroopers, it is important not to fall under assist and control, because he simply will not survive them. As a lycan, you can knock off the target with night fog, and avoid control by transformation. Vesp never dreamed of such a thing.

For extreme sports enthusiasts

Initially, many players looked towards an evasion build. After all, there are useful skills that enhance evasion, and native indicators in this regard are good. But when honing in on a slope, you, firstly, need good and correct equipment, and secondly, bright faith. But even then, you are too vulnerable. Survival and health points drop dramatically, and since a lot depends on your current health due to the mechanics of the class, even a crazy AoE can really ruin your life.

Of course, there are quite a lot of fans of such builds on the bias in the light faith. But still it is not as effective as both of the above.

Conclusion

The priest from is a very strong and downright terrifying class in skillful hands, but quite demanding in execution. You won’t be able to click three buttons and benefit the team, which means you have to try. Beginners, who often do not yet have a sufficient understanding of the game, are not advised to start with it.

Hello, role-playing game lovers. Do you want to terrify your opponents? If your answer is yes, then it's time to master one of the most dangerous melee classes.

I have prepared a Dark Age Reaper guide for you, in which I will introduce you to this deadly type of warrior.

Class Features

Reapers are only available to Vesperians and Lycans, this restriction already makes them a special class. As I mentioned above, melee attacks are common for them and there are even a number of advantages for successful combat.

The positive aspects would be their high level of health, excellent defense and high damage; in addition, they also have the ability to attract enemies to themselves, and can also apply buffs to themselves and their allies.

One of the features is the dependence of attack power on health points. If the standard of living is higher than that of the enemy, then you can count on great damage.

Depending on your character build-up, you will be able to quickly deal with one target, withstand multiple enemy attacks while acting as a tank, or unleash all your power on a whole group of enemies at once.

You can develop your hero in three directions, which will open from level 20. Let's look at each of them in more detail.

Branch "Storm"

A very strong side of the reapers, if you follow this path, then your advantage will be massive attacks, the ability to attract several targets at once, excellent control of opponents and increased chances of critical damage.

By upgrading your hero through the “Storm” branch, you will be more proficient in the element of air, and your abilities will help you both in battles with mobs and with real players.

In PvP you can play a significant role, clearing the battlefield from magicians and healers, and in PvE you will be a good addition to tanks, scattering everyone who is in the strike zone.

Branch "Executioner"

If you are rocking the executioner, then the element of darkness will be the basis. Here you can count on superiority in one-on-one fights. This is probably where the name of the thread comes from. You will be able to execute almost any player.

To enhance the executioner's abilities, you should be careful about the things you wear. The best option would be things that increase health, critical damage chance and accuracy.

Branch "Guardian"

If the previous directions were good in attack, then the advantage of the guards is survivability. They have a lot of health, better defense and increased chances of dodging, and in addition they have the ability to heal themselves.

Such a fighter can easily pass for a tank, and will be very useful in trips to dungeons and bosses. It is you who will go ahead of everyone, taking most of the damage.

Conclusion

There is no doubt that Reapers are very powerful and in the right hands can cause a lot of problems for their opponents, but they have a lot of nuances, and in order to fully realize their potential, you need to try them in battle.

Each new battle and experiments will make you a strong player, which means you will have many friends with whom you can play in groups. A good reaper does not lie on the road, so choose your path and move forward.

If you are interested in classes that are also strong in attack, then I suggest reading also those that produce high damage at a distance, as well as those that are very strong in melee.

With this I say goodbye to you. Expect new content soon.

Reaper. Time for a bloody harvest!

Gloomy. Deadly. Relentless. That's what he is, a reaper. And you shouldn’t get in his way...

This class in Dark Age prefers melee combat. Therefore - two-handed scythes and heavy armor. That's what it's equipped with. Killer set. But that is not all. The main feature of the Reaper is that his damage directly depends on his health level. If this level is higher than that of the enemy, then the latter does not have long to suffer... To make life easier for the player, there is a special panel in the Reaper interface, which is made in the form of a winged demon.

The color of the beast indicates the character's health. The spheres that the demon has in his paws light up when the enemy's health falls below a certain level. If you hover the cursor over them, the number of percentages remaining until you receive the bonus from using the ability is displayed.

The reaper has nine attack skills, three passive, six blessings and two curses.

Attackers:

  • Blood of Fire;
  • Wind of Death;
  • Dance of Shadows;
  • Slashing swing;
  • Nimble shadow;
  • Executioner's Shadow;
  • Grasp of the Wind;
  • Dead Man's Shadow;
  • Furious wind.

Passive:

  • Moonlight night;
  • Blood of Darkness;
  • Blood of the ancients.

Reaper Curses:

  • The stubbornness of the wind;
  • Redemption by blood/

Blessings of the Reaper:

  • Furious Heart;
  • Fast blood;
  • Bloody War;
  • Will of the Champion;
  • Fist of the Wind;
  • Bad blood.

Reaper "Storm" development branch

"A lot of them? All the better…"

In the Storm route, the dumbest thing Reaper's enemies can do is surround him. The more opponents there are, the more they will fall. The strengths of this branch are strong AOE abilities, a high level of crit, the ability to attract enemies to you and, in general, a good level of control. This makes it especially useful in massive PvP battles. Although in PvE he can also provide good support to the tank, staying close to him and, literally, mowing down mobs.

For the Storm Reaper, the main abilities are those related to the Wind element:

  • Provocation
  • Variability
  • Ruthlessness
  • Insignificance
  • Whirlpool of blood
  • Roaring wind
  • True roaring wind
  • Gust of wind
  • Fearlessness
  • dancing with the Wind
  • Curse of the Wind
  • Typhoon

Equipment for the Wind Reaper should maximize the damage it deals. As does his pet (for example, the Winged Tiger, which increases the owner’s attack by a certain percentage of its +17 units). As the saying goes, “There can never be too much DPS.” This is definitely about this thread.

Development branch of the Reaper "Executioner"

“They said – execute, that means – execute!”

Reaper Executioner is capable of crushing almost anyone in a one-on-one duel. High accuracy, decent health, increased effectiveness of abilities aimed at one enemy, very high chance and increased amount of critical damage.

The Executioner can be useful in almost any situation. Many especially value it for its effectiveness in PvP. And this is logical. All of the above makes him a formidable opponent for any other class.

The executioner, for greatest effectiveness, should give preference to the element of Darkness:

  • Redemption by blood
  • Cry of Shadows
  • Slashing Swipe
  • Blood Explosion
  • Stubbornness of the wind
  • Executioner's Shadow
  • Dead Man's Shadow
  • Fast blood
  • Madness of passion
  • Bad blood
  • Fierce hatred
  • Dance of Shadows
  • Furious Heart

Equipment for the Executioner should increase his health level, accuracy, as well as crit chance and damage. Sergeant Crots would be a good pet for him, with his increased health. In general, if everything is done correctly, no one can resist the Executioner in open duels.

Reaper Talents at a Glance

The Reaper's talent trees are quite extensive and we won't consider them in detail, but it wouldn't hurt to focus on a couple. Literally three each from the two branches listed above.

For Storm...

The “Roaring Wind” talent is a must, which turns all skills aimed at a single target into AoE. Further, the talent “Whirlpool of Blood” attracts and stuns several opponents at once. And finally, Wind Pulse, which increases dodge rating and, as a result, provides a higher chance of keeping the Reaper's health level at a safe (and also necessarily dangerous for enemies) level.

And for the Executioner...

The “Corrosive Blood” talent will be extremely useful, reducing the enemy’s resistance to the Executioner’s main element – Darkness. Then - “Pride of Darkness”. Everything is simple here. Increased Dark damage. And the last of the three we will have the talent “Dark Soul Strike”. With a high level of health (more than 80%) for the duration of the “Fast Blood” skill, the Reaper deals even more damage with Darkness.

Conclusion

In general, the Reaper class provides a huge choice in terms of roles performed both in team play and when playing alone. Plus a feature with the dependence of health and damage. All of this makes the Reaper a very interesting and potentially extremely effective class. Happy harvest!
