Update:4.2 (2017 - 2)

Update:4.2 (2017)
- The mod will be re-uploaded with a revised translation. Wardrobe problems should at least decrease.
- Added minor appearance options:
1. A Vilja Custom Face for FFA and CBBE. Barbie Looks - Barbie's appearance for the FFA and CBBE replayer.
2. Adriana Face for Vilja - The appearance of a certain Adriana.

Update: 4.2 (2015)
- Walking "side by side" - developed by the system used in the Followers as Companions mod from the author Ishara Meradin.
- Improved hotkey attack system - Villa should now be more accurate when attacking.
- Improved stealth. Villa will have to stay away and hide from prying eyes.
- New musical performances of the flute - added 4 new songs for Villa from Bosa123 (We are talking about the group Granskog).
- More fine-tuning of shooting skills - Villa no longer prefers steel arrows, instead of what is better than them in her inventory.
- Other minor fixes.
- The BSA file was not compressed this time, and we also corrected a couple of old errors and shortcomings on our part. So there shouldn't be any problems.

Update:4.01
- New system of interaction between Villa via hotkeys. The system will allow you:
a) Give her an attack target or perform a sneak attack
b) Customize the dialogue tree to your taste and be able to talk without activating this system
c) Tell her to close her mouth
d) Keep talking to a minimum while traveling (ideal for role play).
- Full support and interaction with the Inigo companion from the author Smartbluecat. Inigo is an excellent companion for Villa. Emma highly recommends it!
- New quests that will open up new additional options and a new set of armor. Available if you are married to Vilya.
- The conversation settings with Vilya have been completely redesigned and now you can maintain the conversation speed. For example, you can set an interval of 10 minutes (comments about quests and others based on events.
- Vilya can sit on your character's lap, that is, when she comments on what is really happening in the game, and not just like that).
- You can ask Vilya to step aside if he’s blocking your passage.
- Added "nickname options" for your character, which you can choose during your marriage to Vilya. When chosen, she may call you by an affectionate nickname.
- More variety in healing spells. Now you can decide what level of spells to use to heal her.
- You can decide where Bruce will live (i.e. choose a stable) and also ask Villa to send him home. This will work if you initially specify where Bruce should be.
- New, fun features for the Leifur dog. You can order him to follow someone and can also track prey at your command. (Please note! Among the optional options for Villa, you can find the "Hush Doggy" mod, which is added to the options of the general mod of your choice. It allows you to remove the bug that allows the dog to bark constantly.
- More drunken dialogues and new conversational lines (+ additional comments on the quest in the Thieves Guild)
- Another +500 original low quality voice files were manually removed and re-recorded with a high quality microphone. Also, about 800 voice lines were re-recorded. This leaves less than 2000 voice files that still need to be re-recorded. As time passes, this issue will be resolved with subsequent updates.
- Various fixes, changes and improvements, such as: riding and combat mode have been improved, behavior in combat mode has been improved and much more...

Peculiarities:
- Having several quest lines (including romance and wedding), unique abilities and about 5000 voiced dialogues, Villa will captivate you seriously and for a long time. Many surprises await you in communicating with her. There are so many dialogues and other features that even the developers cannot immediately remember them all. This is just a brief description of the advantages of Villa and its differences from other satellites.
- About 5,000 fully voiced dialogues. Vilya is very sociable by default, but if this bothers you, you can easily adjust the settings so that Vilya chats less or is completely silent. She won't be offended.
- Improved companion behavior system. If Vilya, following you, suddenly gets stuck or simply gets lost, then it’s okay, just turn away and move on, she will immediately appear right next to you. Vilya can also be summoned with a spell.
- By default, Villa follows you as a regular companion, but through the dialogue you can enable the “sandbox” option (that is, Villa will interact with the environment during stops, like Serana, for example)

Relationship system:
- Villa’s attitude towards you will change over time, it will depend on your actions. If Villa gets angry with you, you will notice this by the changed remarks and her behavior in general.
- Of course, you can change relationships for the better. For example, if you give Villa a sweet roll or a drink. You can also improve your relationship with a gift or a compliment. By the way, Villa wants to become a bard and will be very happy if you show interest in her musical endeavors.

Inventory system:
- You can ask Vilya to wear armor or clothes, ask her to wear or not wear cloaks, jewelry and other equipment. If Vilya wears clothes, she will automatically change into armor during battle (if she has armor and you didn't tell her to fight in clothes). You can choose whether Villa will undress while swimming. She also has a nightgown, which she puts on before going to bed when she is at home. There are two additional bags in which items remain completely intact (Villa will not use them). You can ask Vilya to sell something, for this there is inventory for sale. Things can also be stored in the saddlebags of her horse, Bruce. The main thing is that Bruce is nearby.

Detailed combat instructions:
- Will Villa take part in the battles or will he stay away from them? What type of weapon will you prefer - melee or ranged? Villa is ready to listen to your advice. Later, Vilya will learn magic, and you will be able to choose which spells she should use. Having completed the first part of her task, you will receive three commands (activated by the shout key), with which you can give quick orders during battle: Villa, attack!; Villa, stop the fight!; Villa, stop fighting and follow me!

Customizable Features:
- In the “Let’s travel together” dialogue thread, you can customize Vilya’s wardrobe, her behavior and habits (including talkativeness), the presence of immortality, etc.
1.Healing - At first, Vilya will only be able to heal himself, but over time he will learn to heal you too.
2.Sparring - Want to hone your fighting skills? Villa will be glad to become your opponent in a friendly match.
3.Craft - Unlike regular companions, Vilya is capable of making various items using tools! If she has the necessary materials, of course. And she uses some tools differently than you.

List of what she can do:
- Cauldron: Vilja will cook different foods depending on the ingredients in her inventory.
- Alchemy Lab: Vilya will brew potions depending on the ingredients in her inventory.
- Pentagram of Souls: Alas, Villa does not know how to handle it.
- Forge: Vilja can use the forge to make lockpicks. You need at least one iron ingot.
- Workbench: Vilya can use the workbench to feather arrows. To do this, she will need ten logs and an ingot (iron, steel, silver or Dwemer).
- Tanning Machine: With the help of a tanning machine, Villa can tan leather (if he has skins). If Villa does not have skins, but has skin, then she will cut them into strips.
- Whetstone: Vilja does not know how to use a whetstone.
- Smelter: Just like you, Villa can smelt metals, just give her ore.
- Chopping Deck: Like other companions, Vilya can chop wood.
- Villa can make some items literally on the go, without tools.
- Simple potions: If you have at least ONE necessary ingredient, Vilya will make a simple potion: health, restoration of magic, restoration of strength, healing of diseases.
- Cooking: Given the right ingredients, Villa will quickly prepare something to eat.
- Torches: For a torch you only need a log and linen cloth.

Horses and mounted battles:
- It is obvious that Villa is an extraordinary companion. She has her own summon horse, Bruce, which she saddles every time you ride. If you select the appropriate dialogue branch, Villa can ride on horseback, even if you are walking. If you fight on horseback, Villa will follow your lead.

Lead us!
- Villa will not always follow you, the reverse situation is also possible - YOU will follow HER. Yes, you can become Villa's companion. She can offer it herself, or you can ask her. Villa can show you places you've never been before! Agree, this is a huge plus for a role-playing game - the companion takes on the responsibilities of a guide, and not only follows you in five steps. Initially, this feature was introduced in Villa in Oblivion, and successfully migrated to Skyrim.

Group Leader:
- You can ask other companions to follow Vilya instead of you. The presence of this function allows you to better plan a strategy for completing dungeons. By sending Vilya to wait in a selected location or just take a walk, a tethered companion will keep her company.

Mission chatter:
-Vilya understands what is happening around her and expresses her thoughts about your tasks. This function will be improved (at the moment Vilya is slightly indifferent to what is happening in the Thieves Guild and the Dark Brotherhood)

Chatter about places:
- Villa always has an opinion about the places you visit. Often you don’t even have to ask him - he’ll tell you himself. Villa's thoughts about the current location can also be found out using the corresponding dialogue thread.

Interaction with other satellites:
- Villa interacts with standard companions to varying degrees. We recommend taking Lydia, Ayla, J'zargo, Jenassa, Farkas or Argis into your company. You will notice not only how Villa addresses them, but also how her companions respond to her. Sometimes it even leads to lengthy discussions. Similar, but more mediocre interactions are seen with Iona, Ria, Benor, Stenvar, Atar, Illya, Utgerd, Adelaise and Anneke the Climber, as well as Karjo, Jenassa, Aranea and any non-standard companion using the following voices: FemaleCommander, FemaleDarkElf, FemaleEventoned, MaleBruteandMaleKhajiit. Villa has simple interactions with other popular companions, i.e. she sees their presence and says something, but they do not answer (Mjol, Eric the Terrible Killer, Calder). Interaction with other satellites, possibly non-standard ones, will be added in the future.

Home furnishings:
- You can tell Villa where her house will be. While at home and in free movement mode, she will act according to a schedule that includes: cooking, cleaning, music, reading books, dialogues with other companions and walks (even to the tavern). Villa will have a special dialogue while she is at home.

Creating a camp:
- Villa can make a fire and put up a tent. Fully compatible with Frostfall.

Reading books:
- Villa will be happy to read aloud to you. Initially, she only has one book, but as soon as you have other suitable works, she will notify you immediately.

Collection and cleaning:
- Villa is ready to help you collect various items - arrows, weapons and, of course, ingredients. Villa will pick up a broom if you ask her to “clean up the mess.”

Spells:
- At first, Vilya can only perform simple magic of healing and teleportation. As she progresses through her quest, she will learn a number of other spells. There won't be anything special among them, since Villa is not supposed to be a good spellcaster. Through dialogue you can choose which spells she should use. Once Vilya learns the basic spells during the main quest, you can continue teaching her magic by giving her the corresponding spell tomes. (not all spells are available for training).

Purchases:
- You can ask Villa to do the shopping, indicating exactly what you need to buy. The choice can be left to Villa - this is a good way to improve your attitude, but be prepared to receive something that you absolutely do not need. Villa has a special bag for things to sell, income depends on the skill of eloquence. Sometimes Villa goes shopping without your request (but he will warn you).

Skill Summary:
- Through dialogue you can find out how Villa's skills are developing. The summary will also display Villa's attitude towards you.

Games:
- Villa is still a child and loves to play games. You can play tag with her to some place, rock-paper-scissors, or arrange a friendly duel.

Music:
- Villa dreams of becoming a bard and is always happy to play for you. At first, she only has access to a drum, but upon completion of some tasks, a flute and a lute will become available. KindaInappropriate (lute) and Bosa123 (flute) for writing music for Villa.

Game for the audience:
- Once you complete some of Villa's tasks, she will be able to entertain some tavern patrons with music and even make money from it! It's up to you to decide whether Villiers should organize such performances.

Role functions:
- In order to please fans of role-playing games, many functions are provided that are insignificant at first glance. For example, you can buy Villier a drink in a tavern, thank him for his help, give him something, or give him a compliment. If you are having an affair with Vilya, you can once again remind her how much you love her. Villa may suddenly ask your opinion on some serious issue, the answer to which you can choose depending on your personality (or simply give an answer that will surely please Villa). In version 2.0, you will also be able to respond to the line you just said (item in the main menu).

Vulgar Solstheim Tradition:
- Those who are familiar with Oblivion Villa most likely grinned and guessed what we were talking about... For the rest, we advise you to head to one of the taverns, buy Villa something to drink and give it to him through a special dialogue thread that is displayed only inside the taverns. A few drinks and Vilja will show you what the people of Solstheim do when they're tipsy.

Romance and marriage:
- Romance and wedding. Villa has a negative attitude towards the wedding custom with Mara's amulet. For our heroine, love, first of all, is friendship and trust. You'll have a chance to develop a relationship with Vilya, but first get to know her better and help her complete her mission in Skyrim. Perhaps you will even get married, then at the wedding party you will meet Villa's family.

Villa from Cyrodiil:
- From email. mail, forum posts and private messages, it became clear that many players want to see Villa the same as she was in Cyrodiil. Therefore, an additional function was added. Upon completing the first part of Vilya's quest, you will be presented with a dialogue line allowing you to choose whether Vilya is your old lost friend or lover. If you choose this option, Villa's backstory and certain aspects will change accordingly.

Where to find Villa:
- You can find her in the Whiterun tavern

Requirements:
- Skyrim LE 1.9.32.0.8
- DLC Dawnguard
- DLC Hearthfire
- Dragonborn DLC
-

For subsequent updates, be aware of:
- ATTENTION: Installing subsequent updates may affect the loss of all items in additional bags that Villa has in storage. Empty all of her extra bags before installing the update (this is a pretty good reason to send her shopping.)
- There should be no known incompatibilities with other mods, but if you are having problems, please consider changing the mod load order between your others.

Known Issues:
- Do not load an entry with this mod if your PC is already in the Prancing Mare tavern. This may interfere with the mod's operation!
- Use the latest version of the game. Depending on how outdated the version of the game is, all scripts, models, textures and sounds of this mod may not work correctly (for example: Villa will be naked, bald, motionless, or not existing in the game

Problem with Villa's inventory being unavailable:
1. Save with Vilya, exit the game
2. Disable all Vilja files except EMCompViljaSkyrim.esp and delete the following:
EMCompViljaSkyrim.bsa
AAEMCompViljaCompquest.pex
AAEMExtraStorageScript.pex
AAEM SellingItemsScript.pex
Viljascript.pex
3. Load a previously saved game
4. Save the game to a new empty save slot, exit the game
5. Put previously deleted files back in their place
6. Load from the last save and save again, but in another empty save slot, exit the game
7. Connect additional files and load the latest save file
- After these manipulations, the inventory will become available. Villa's things remain in place, the quests all work

Installation:
Main mod:
- From the “Data” folder, extract all the contents and throw them into the game folder to replace Skyrim\Data

Addition:
- If you use the Dragonborn DLC, then in the “Vilya in Solstheim Ver 2.0” folder, you will have the opportunity to go through it with Vilya. To install, put all the contents into the Skyrim\Data game folder.

Mini addition:
- Christmas Song v1.0 - which adds the ability for Vilja, Syndra and Wilbert to sing the Christmas song "Silent Night" (if you are in the College of Bards, you can ask Vilja to sing with Syndra or arrange a trio with Wilbert), which the author could use because it is freely distributed. A modest gift from the author for Christmas. To install, put all the contents into the Skyrim\Data game folder.

Problems with Villa's inventory:
The most common problem that people encounter on versions 2.0-3.0+ is the inability to access Villa's inventory. The reason for this is that you are using a custom look for it.
To avoid this, do the following:
1. In a new game: Do not add any cosmetic changes to Vilja that require ESP (like faces, hair, bodies, etc.) until you meet her and have access to her inventory, which you should get at the beginning right after you meet her with the thieves.
2. Updating the version in the current game: If you use any cosmetic changes to Villa that ESP requires (like faces, hair, bodies, etc.), then you need to disable them! Before you install the new version of ESP and BSA mod. Otherwise you won't be able to access her inventory! Meet Villa in the game with her original appearance. You will see a message in the upper left corner about "Updating to version...". After a couple of seconds, you will receive a new message that the update has been successfully completed and that Villa will momentarily disappear from your view and be behind you. Immediately make sure that her inventory is working. If you turned off unnecessary things, it will work. Now you can save the game, exit and enable all the necessary options and return to the game. Her inventory should work correctly.
3. P.S. “from the translator” - all this does not always help, it also depends on what gameplay mods you may have installed that affect the game script, once again it is better to refrain from installing them until you meet Vilya and gain access to the inventory. I just checked this bug with the options installed and everything was fine. At least many people had problems with her LB appearance. Therefore, when you want to install it, refrain from making options until you have complete control over it.

- Game version v1.9.32.0.8 and higher
- DLC Dawnguard
- DLC Hearthfire
- Dragonborn DLC

- For the wardrobe - you will see “Wardrobe fix for Villa 2.03” and “Correction for damaged form sheets 3.02”. Use if problems arise. Options from the previous version and the current one are presented. The essence of the execution is the same.

There can never be too many pretty girls. Especially if they are ready to accompany you through all the mountains and valleys, carry your items, entertain you with conversations and generally enliven the landscape with themselves before a new battle. Meet Vilya, your new companion.

Review of Vilja in Skyrim

The modification adds another companion to the game - a human girl named Villa, determined, brave, a little inconsistent, but very sweet. Her life before meeting you resembles the plot of a comic book - having inherited a mysterious message from her grandmother, she went to the northern lands of Skyrim for clarification of what, in fact, is written in this message. She was unable to find someone who would help her, nor save the message - someone stole it. And she sits, sad, in the Whiterun tavern, waiting for someone who will share with her all the hardships of her search.

That is, of course, the story in practice is not at all so simple - the quests in the storyline of this mod will help you take a short break from the main tasks and keep company with a beautiful young lady. In addition, several side NPCs are added to the game along with her, which will make your life together with her even more interesting.

Villa's character is fully voiced; she regularly shares with you her thoughts about current events and her perception of the outside world. At the beginning of a joint game, she is not the best combat companion, but over time her parameters improve. In total, the developers have prepared about five thousand dialogues and several large-scale storylines, including a traditional love story. Your blonde companion's attitude towards your character can be determined by her phrases and general behavior.

If her chirping starts to irritate you, you can adjust the mod so that she speaks less or not at all. If she is lost somewhere, you can call her with a spell or simply move beyond the line of sight - she will appear on her own.
Villa's inventory is divided into two parts: one contains things that she wears, including a cute nightgown if you spend the night at home, the other contains things that you gave her for safekeeping and that she does not use. In addition, you can give her items for sale by placing them in a special section of the storage inventory.

Do not run the mod in a save where you are inside the Prancing Mare tavern in Whiterun - this may cause problems with its operation.
Disable all character cosmetic changes when you first log in - you will need to meet Vilya at the tavern first and wait for the mod to update. Otherwise you will not have access to her inventory.
