Let's talk with Bones and find out that crystal portals connect the world of shadows and the world of the living. Those who fall into the underworld rarely return back. Crystal portals must be destroyed as soon as possible to interrupt the flow of evil creatures. We move ashore on the boat and get to the port city, simultaneously destroying two hellhounds. The enemies will attack us first, but as soon as our partner joins the battle, we will be able to escape the attention of one of them. We strictly attack only our target, without interfering in our partner’s battle. The longer we hold the hit button, the more damage we deal. Against agile enemies we use simple and slightly enhanced strikes. Parrying is not always effective, and if the hero loosens his grip, we quickly dodge with a roll.

The tall building on the left is the headquarters of the Antigua Captains' Council. Having reached it, we greet the admiral, who is already waiting for the report. We will tell you in detail about what we had to face on the Crab Coast and what happened to us after the discovery of the portal.

Chaos at the port


Hellhounds have become a major problem in Antigua. These creatures have been terrorizing local inhabitants for several weeks. The once thriving port city has become a corner cut off from the world. Some ran away, while others stayed, hoping for an improvement in the situation. Alvarez will tell you that the creatures of the underworld were seen on the eastern bank, in Flynn's warehouse, in the market in front of Grace's forge, in Blood Oath Square and on the western bank. We make the task the main one so that markers are displayed on the map. There are two to four hounds at each point, so be sure to take a partner with you. In some cases, local residents will come to the rescue. It is enough to communicate with them and offer your help in exterminating the uninvited guests. Don’t forget about leveling up, buying all kinds of useful items from merchants and completing side quests. Careful study of the game world will make it much easier to move along the main storyline.

Returning to Alvarez, we inform him about the work done and receive a reward for each place cleared.

The admiral is concerned about the unpunished march of the ghost captain Crowa across the South Seas and therefore wants to unite with other guilds to confront a common enemy. We will have to look for comrades-in-arms and conclude diplomatic alliances with them on behalf of the Captain's Council of Antigua. It is curious that the helmsman Morgan seized power on Captain Slane’s ship and began to rob everyone in sight. However, Morgan's powerful ship and strong crew could be used for a good cause.

He is responsible for all the other gnomes and asks them to settle their problems. We go down and communicate with Vega. Kefkir stole five crystals from him - he needs to return them. We go up the slope, in one of the ways we take the crystals from Kefkir and return them to Vega. Going back downstairs, we'll talk to Banu. It refuses to work due to the noise coming from the lower level of the mine. We go down there, go through the arch and deal with five voracious stone spiders and one spider. Moving even further, we meet Rami. We accompany him to Faris, then return to Ban and tell him that the noise has been eliminated. We find the gnome Noeda and make sure that nothing bothers him. In the third most remote mine there is a real mess going on. Having gone deeper into the mine, we find the body of a guard. Moving forward, we destroy the enemies we encounter: five skeletons, five hellhounds and two minions. We do this gradually, taking on no more than two or three enemies at a time for ourselves and our partner. However, it all depends on the level of pumping and available equipment.

The final fourth mine is infested with goblins. We move through the mine, dealing with enemies. Having gone up, we eliminate several termites and climb up the ledges. Having dealt with the remaining goblins, we return to Magnus and report on all the mines. Next, Magnus will send us to the gnome Gadi, who works at the port, so that we tell him about the new mine. Having done this, we return to Magnus again and complete the task.

We return to Erasmus and inform him about the liar. The magician advised him to tell the gnome that someone had found his hiding place and stolen his treasure. Thus, we will follow Kasim or, if we fail to do this, we will force him to point out the location of the cache.

Having obtained all three monolith stones, we get to the lightning monoliths and activate them. Then we report to Erasmus about the work done and postpone the task until better times.

The Dark Lands are infested with minions, skeletons, and hellhounds. Having reached the ruins, we move forward along roundabout paths through the buildings. We try not to rush and not to gather crowds of enemies behind us, since the more of them, the more difficult it is to fight. This is especially true for hellhounds, which often attack as a whole pack. Having met Idriko, a member of the guild of magicians, we bring enemies to him when difficulties arise. The magician has powerful spells and effortlessly deals with creatures from the underworld. The most dangerous opponent will be the Lord of the Shadows of Cowardice. First, we eliminate the weaker enemies surrounding him. Rolling from side to side, we wait until the enemy is distracted by our partner. After this we deliver several strong blows. However, with proper skill, the Lord’s attack can be interrupted by strong blows, and if you do this constantly, you will also have to catch the right rhythm. Having won, we get to the building with a mark on the map, go up to the second floor and pick up the “Grimoire” from the table. We return to the citadel and give the book to Eldric. In the book of spells there is an entry about the ritual of summoning a spirit, but it is not yet entirely clear how the process of binding the soul to the body occurs.

Chapter 3. Rite of the Spirit

Let's talk with Eldric and find out that the binding of soul and body should take place in a place protected from the influence of the outside world. Only three powerful sorcerers are capable of casting a spell - Eldric, the magician Zachariah and the voodoo sorceress Chani. We ask all the questions you have about the ceremony and end the conversation.

Eldric almost completely cleared Calador of crystal portals, but the last one remained in the east. After the destruction of the bridge, half of the island was under the control of the shadows. We learn from the druid a special technique for destroying crystal portals.

An unsuccessful attempt to defeat the Lord of Shadows led to the fact that the hunters scattered in all directions and none of them returned to the citadel.

Blacksmith Wilson sent his apprentice Alvito to an abandoned iron mine. The mark on the map will lead to Yvette. She will tell you where the mine is. The entrance to it is slightly to the right and below the mark. We go there, go inside and, having destroyed the enemies, examine Alvito’s body. We return to Wilson with bad news.

Porter is concerned that he gave Inetta a stolen amulet that he found in a cemetery. Now Porter is tormented by nightmares at night, and he dreams of getting rid of them. One of the ways is to take the amulet from Inetta and return it to the cemetery for Hannah’s unrepentant soul. We inform Porter that he can now sleep peacefully.

Mason is preparing to go out on night watch. Accordingly, you should come to him only in the dark. In the tavern, for 100 gold, we will be provided with overnight accommodation on the second floor. The last hunter, Cyril, will ask you to bring the personal belongings of his fallen comrades. You won't have to run far, all five bodies are nearby. If we feel that we cannot cope with the shadows, especially with a large creature floating in the air, then we boldly bring them to Cyril. An extra sword will not hurt in the fight against enemies. We search the corpses of five hunters and return to Cyril.

To the south of the ruins of the old castle, Winter wanders, upset by his cowardice. He escaped, leaving his comrades behind during the battle against the Shadow Lord. Since we killed the Lord during the mission “Ancient Knowledge,” we inform Winter about this.

From now on, you can only move to this part through the portal marked on the map.

Let's talk with Eldric and, as part of a group of hunters, go to the Lord of Shadows, who is located right in front of the cave with a crystal portal. Having finished with the Lord, we go into the cave itself. We deal with the enemies, approach the crystal portal and interact with it to destroy it. Returning to Eldric, we notify him that the portal has been eliminated. We are transported to the citadel and, after communicating with Eldric, we enlist support in conducting the spirit ritual.

We go to the ruins of the ancient city, moving around from the south side. On the first floor of the building, from the table we select a necromancer’s book with a spell for the spirit ritual and bring it to Eldric.

Attack in the Upper Seas

Bones will let us know about the presence of a sea monster in the South Seas after we have a full-fledged ship. We interact with the helm, raise the sails and select any point of movement. The most important thing in the battle is to get as close to the monster as possible from the side and shoot it from the onboard deck guns, making sure that as many cannonballs as possible hit the target. With proper skill, we fire from the side cannons on one side and, quickly turning around, fire from the side cannons on the other side. A mini-map will help you quickly track the enemy. It is not advisable to use a cannon in the bow of the ship, because it does little damage. It makes sense only if the monster has little health left.

Having done this, we return back with bad news. Next, we eliminate five oracle soldiers and, returning to Chani again, we enlist her support.

In the east of the forbidden valley, the Great Temple is adjacent to the mountains - we go to it. Having entered inside, we go up the stairs and get out into the hall. At the very end of the room, near the left wall, there is a pedestal - activate it and pull yourself up to the ledge. We go up one ladder, then go down the other and activate the next pedestal in the corner of a small room. We also pull the lever in the wall to the left of the opened door to provide ourselves with a short path to the exit. Having reached the next hall, the floor will collapse under us, and we will end up in the lair of the oracle Margolot.

Margolot defends well in close combat, so it is advisable to use ranged weapons against her, such as a shotgun. To exterminate a huge number of spiders, the “Fire Rain” spell is perfect, which you can learn from Erasmus in the magician’s camp. The battle ahead is not easy: we purchase in advance a large amount of ammunition, healing drinks and scrolls with various spells from magicians on Taranis and from demon hunters on Calador. When the oracle has half her health left, we act more actively, since in idle time she will be able to restore her health to this level. You've gotten a little lazy and you'll have to put in a lot of effort all over again. Roll-shot is the simplest tactic that will save you from constant attacks from spiders and will not allow Margolot to relax. Spells are also best left for the other half of the oracle's health. Having won, we communicate with Margolot. We inform her that we have lost our soul and that the minions led by the lord of shadows, and not people, are to blame for disturbing her peace. The oracle will agree to help with the ritual if we clear the cave of shadows.

Having moved to the enemy ship, we deal with three pirates. Next, we interrupt Captain Morgan’s slow swings with powerful blows, and if a series of simple blows is used, then we simply dodge. Having won, the ship and crew will join the Antigua flotilla. In addition, we will get Morgan's equipment.

Erasmus has completed his research and is ready to launch the reactor. The flow of energy will fill the entire huge area under the bridge.

The Guild of Mages abandoned belief in life after death, gods, and the underworld and devoted itself to only one thing - ridding the world of titans with the help of the magical power of crystals. Zachariah will help us with the ritual of the spirit if we take part in the study of a magical instrument found on the island, which turned out to be nothing more than a crystal portal. The magicians naively believed that all this was built by an ancient civilization, because the portal surprisingly turned out to be inactive and, accordingly, there were no shadows in the cave. Together with Zachary, having reached the cave, we go inside and, dealing with the enemies, make our way to the crystal portal.

Zachariah is confident that the reactor's energy flow will be enough to activate the portal. The shadows are least concerned about an inactive portal, so we can quietly get into the underworld and find out the necessary information. Having entered the portal and finding ourselves in the other world, we will meet Tao, the guardian of the island of the dead. We learn that our soul is on Skull Island. After listening to the instructions, we return back. Unfortunately, we were unable to escape unnoticed: the shadows rushed after us and also used the portal. We distract the Lord of Shadows in every possible way until Zachariah destroys all the minions. Then, together, we deal with the main enemy. We enlist the support of Zacharias and destroy the portal.

World of Shadows


Having learned to destroy portals from Eldric, a druid from the guild of demon hunters on the island of Kila, the portals that need to be destroyed will be marked on the map. Moreover, each portal will be under the protection of the Lords of Shadows. Some portals can only be accessed after progressing through the story.

Sea battle with Sebastiano

Having dealt with two Inquisition soldiers, we use the blunderbusses on the ship’s fence and, first of all, kill the enemies firing from the cannon. Unlike the first monster, this one has become faster and releases clots that cause damage to the ship. We try to swim as quickly as possible and constantly monitor the monster in order to begin a maneuver to evade the clots in advance.

With the help of our efforts, he lured the most powerful magicians of the South Seas to the underworld in order to rise from the underworld and return to the world of the living.

Chapter 4. Necroloth

Bones will report that Necrolot's informant was Horace, who had already managed to escape from the ship and head to Taranis. We get to the magicians' camp in Taranis and inform Magnus about the traitor Horace, who is planning to do something bad with the reactor.

We go down the path to the reactor and overtake Horace. Necroloth gifted him with the power of a titan lord, allowing him to summon a titan. Having woken up, Valamir will instruct us on how to deal with the titan. Along the perimeter border there are five energy sources with shackles. It is necessary to shackle a titan into these shackles.

We pick up the shackles and begin to provoke the enemy - we come close to him, and then quickly run back. When the titan starts to swing, i.e. raises his hand, aim and throw the shackles at the luminous area on his hand. We shackle the second hand in the same way, having first selected new shackles. We won’t stay near the enemy for long, because, firstly, it will be difficult to aim, and secondly, he will be able to deliver a short blow, which will not allow us to carry out a throw at all. At the second stage, we shackle the two front short legs of titanium according to the same principle as the long ones. We throw the last shackles on the neck at the moment when it flashes brighter than usual, and the enemy freezes in place.

Horace will tell you about the motives that forced him to go over to the side of Necrolot. He will also tell about the ghost captain Crowe, who assisted him in every possible way in finding a spell to summon the demon of the underworld. All that remains is to defeat Horace in a fair fight.

She is under the influence of the demon of the underworld, and therefore the path to the lair is prohibited for us. The only way to weaken Necrolot is to free the souls that recently appeared on the island. Three powerful sorcerers are imprisoned, Chani - in the tower of torture, Eldric - in the Bay of Darkness, Zachariah - in Berserker Pass, and provide the demon with the power of the living.

First of all, we go to the Bay of Darkness, where Eldric is being held. We reach the top, simultaneously destroying numerous enemies. In the destroyed building, slightly to the right and below the mark, there is a hatch, which is highlighted on the map as a small square. We get inside through it, go down the stairs to the end and, having defeated a couple of rune golems, free Eldric. After talking with him, we leave the bay along a short path.

You can get to Berserk Pass from both the western and eastern sides. When choosing the second option, we cross the lava streams along the crossings marked on the map. Having reached the bridge, we reach approximately the middle, climb the stairs to the upper level and free Zachary.

The torture tower is located deep in the mountain, the path to which lies from the south side. We go up the stairs near the wall to the left of the main entrance, deal with two skeletons and activate the lever. We go back down and go inside. We climb onto the dilapidated column in front of the grate on the right side and climb even higher along it. A partner, if there is one, will be waiting for us below. We activate the lever, turn left and go through the left passage. We kill the shadow guard, move to the other side along the bridge across the central tower and activate the next lever. We return to the opposite side, turn right and go down the stairs in the left passage. Next, again select the left passage and get to the lever. Necrolot's minions will pester us throughout the entire battle. We pump up the “Fire Rain” spell from Erasmus to the maximum and purchase additional scrolls from local magicians in Taranis. Spells to summon additional allies will also not be superfluous. For them, let's go to the demon hunters on the island of Calador. We spare no expense for the final battle: we purchase ammunition for weapons and valuable drinks that restore health from various dealers.

The decisive factor in the fight is the timely interruption of the Necrolot’s attempts to use our body for his needs. It doesn’t matter how much damage we inflict on the enemy if he still restores his health. Portals scattered throughout the cave will help you quickly overtake the enemy. However, do not neglect the opportunity to look around; sometimes it’s easier to run to the Necrolot on your own, for example, when it moves to a hill in the center of the cave. As for spells, we call on two or three allies at once after the number of hellhounds has noticeably decreased (for example, after using the “Fire Rain” spell) so that they attack the Death Titan. A powerful shotgun is perfect as a main weapon, the main advantages of which are fast and frequent attacks and interrupting the Necrolot’s actions of sucking energy from the body.

Crab Island

crab shell– adds protection by + 10. Located on an island not far from the main island, you will need to swim.

Calador

Drink of Accuracy– increases critical strike by +10. We will take on the task in the cave above the entrance to the skull, which you will reach by crossing the bridge. The item itself is located in the citadel, near the stairs on the 1st floor.

Dull ritual knife– intimidation increases by + 10. We get it by beating Henrik in arm wrestling. You will need to catch him when he is sitting at the table, approach him and offer him a competition. An attempt will cost 100 gold coins.

Broken Skeleton Key– hacking skill increases by +10. You can find the master key on the lonely Kaladora farm, which is located in the northern part of the island, not far from the farm 3 graves on the hill. You'll have to search the house to find the item.

Crankshaft– crossbow shooting + 10. Located in the lighthouse in the east of the island. To get there you need to cross a lava river. The crankshaft lies on the table in the place where the task requires you to light a green fire.

Phalanx– we’ll get the quest at the governor’s house. Well, the object itself lies on the ground floor on the shelves where the bowls are.

Kila

glass eye– increases ranged combat skill by +5. Can be found in a bar in Antigua. We go to the 2nd floor and find a book there. Or we talk with the oracle, after which we go along the passages and cobwebs to the top of the cave. There we will meet a golem guarding the chest. This suduk will be our subject.

Fork– increases the spirit indicator by +5. The book is located on the 2nd floor in the house of the shaman Emma.

Glass sword– Increases melee range by +5. We receive the quest in a destroyed ship. We will find the sword under the pier in the pirate city.

Diamond block– increases piercing weapons by +10. We get the quest in a shack, near the broken ship on the hill. We will find the item itself in Kalidor.

Old bow– increases musket skill by +10. We go deep into the island to a cave with spiders. Having killed them, we will find the bow.

Antique pestle– increases alchemy by +10. We stomp to the southern beach and walk along it - we will meet a gorilla, near which we will find an object.

Jolly Roger– intimidation skill + 10. Seen as Captain Finch's treasure. It is guarded by a rather dangerous magician.

Tattered Scabbard– sword skill +10. We take the quest in the house of the magicians. We go to the 2nd floor and look for a book on the shelf. The scabbard will be on the right side of the island on the island on the hill with the grave.

Taranis
